I had a first trimester screen today which went well, no issues spotted. Here’s a picture of fetus, head to rump (laying face down, unfortunately), measuring at 12 weeks, 6 days! (6 days ahead of schedule.) I was surprised by how much it’s grown since 8 weeks!
@cdbaldwin09 congrats!! Just want to let you know though that you might want to crop your image so your info isn’t out there. You never know who’s lurking 👀
I didn't get a pic of this one today because it was just a quick bedside u/s but I'm right at 11 weeks, little bean was bouncing all around and heart rate was 168 ❤
I'm still shaking and have SO many questions. Baby A measuring 8w0d HR in 160s, Baby B 7w1d HR 140s.
EDIT: My whole pregnancy confirmation appointment was rescheduled. The midwife called an OB who as looking over the ultrasounds. Baby B measuring smaller could be nothing or could mean demise yet the HR is right on target for 7+1. I go back on the 7th for a repeat ultraaound to see if Baby B is viable and then will be given a due date. Another 2 weeks of anxiety.
I had my first ultrasound today but they didn't give me a copy of the picture! Disappointing. Everything was good though and the baby was measuring ahead so they moved up my due date.
Here’s my little nugget! 10+3 the day this was taken. So happy baby is okay. Baby was moving around like crazy, so I’m sure this one will be like DD and DS and not cooperate with any scan. Haha.
Had my first trimester scan today. Felt SO good to see my little bean who's already following in some of big bro's footsteps by measuring 1 week ahead (but due date is unchanged since the measurements can be off by up to a week), being very active, and keeping hands up by the face. So in love! 🥰
Well I had a surprise ultrasound twice yesterday! Unfortunately I didnt get a picture because things were so crazy, but baby was measuring 2 days ahead at 10 weeks, heart beat of 176-183 and looking more like a person!
So yesterday at 3 am I woke up with diffuse constant stomach pain, kind of like a bad bloat and gas that wont pass, but every time i turned over I woke get extreme nausea and dry heave. Around 6 the pain localized to my right lower abdomen (where the appendix is) and I knew something wasnt right. We went to the ER and after checking out baby and getting and MRI they determined I had appendicitis. So after 34 years on this earth, never having had a non fertility related surgery, my body decided at 10 weeks pregnant it doesnt need its appendix anymore. It was pretty scary, but baby seemed to really well, they did an ultrasound before and after. Hopefully this is the last surprise we get during this pregnancy.
@chartput Whoa! How did they remove it?! Mine was removed through a little sucker thing through three small incisions in my pelvic region and a camera through my belly button. Given the location of your pregnant uterus, I have no idea if that is possible for you or not?! Man, what a wild day! So glad you and baby are okay. Damn appendixes are freaking useless until they decide to be deadly 😂
@sliztee Thank you! Yes they did the same for me. They said during early pregnanct thats the best, least traumatic way for the baby.
@marbellie thank you! at least it happened before a weekend so I dont have to miss much work. I just started with my job in March, so I have to use my PTO for part of my maternity leave.
@chartput so glad everything is okay! I’ve had to scan pregnant appy patients before and I love seeing the babies! (I’m an MRI tech.) if you can, go back and get a copy of your images so you can see baby too! (It may just be bright fluid in there, but it’s always fun to see if you CAN see something)

Bittersweet visit today for di/di viability. Baby A is measuring a couple days ahead 10+3. Baby B seemed to have stopped at 7+4 and their sac at 8 weeks. I know this happens and I still have one baby it still hurts.
My Mother’s Day gift was confirming she is a girl! I had the lady tell me three different times because I just couldn’t believe it. You girls don’t see any boy parts in there do you? I did the sneak peak clinical blood test and this ultrasound but just can’t believe it. I’m so excited 💕

We'll have an HD scan next week for genetic screening 🙏🏾❤️
So sorry for you loss! It doesn't matter that you have one healthy baby in there, a loss is a loss. Hugs for you.
