We had a WebEx scheduled this morning with the son of a client (he has POA) who is a crabby, impatient lawyer. Well, he lived up to his reputation by throwing a fit because he couldn't get his audio to work, and when I suggested he could use the call-in function for audio he exclaimed he's not "rich like [us]" and isn't going to use long distance to call California (umm it's a local number, asshole) and that we need to "figure [our] shit out" before calling him again, then just left the meeting. 

Ooookay jackass, it was YOUR audio that wasn't working not mine but ok bye.

DHs grandpa passed away from COVID, after he and his wife both had COVID. DHs grandma thinks it’s a stellar idea to 1) have a viewing if the body before cremation and 2) have a visitation, full Catholic mass, burial, AND luncheon after all OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Oh, and it’s at a church so there is no capacity limit because “religious establishment”. WHY ON EARTH would you do all of this when he passed away due to COVID?!? Was one death not enough?!?!? I am soooo frustrated and DH and I don’t even feel like we can mourn his death or celebrate his life properly because we don’t feel comfortable with all of these events taking place, indoors, open to the public, with no capacity limit. We decided to only go to the burial since it will be outdoors and we can stay away from people. 

That is all.

@kiki047 Geez, how could you not laugh in that guy’s face as he was blowing a gasket? It was his audio issue but he had the nerve to tell you all to get your s*** together? The nerve. Hope he was able to get his s*** together after that meltdown, and I hope you were able to let his abuse roll off your shoulders. ☀️ 

@chindimples04 So sorry for the loss of YH’s grandpa. That is quite a lot of risk associated with all those events celebrating his life. I’m sorry you & YH can’t even focus on mourning him right now. Hang in there.

I'm just resurrecting this thread to lightly vent that it's a huge peeve of mine when people change the subject titles for emails especially when it's totally unnecessary. It makes the organizer in me mad lol.

@inthewoods23 YES!!! Because when I go to "find related messages" and your email doesn't come up Imma be pissed!

@krash_ what's worse is we recently added some additional cyber security so now all the subject titles start having this [EXTERNAL] with them and since my group primarily communicates with customers it's nothing but subjects that start "[EXTERNAL] Re: [EXTERNAL] [EXTERNAL]" or some ridiculousness like that. Plus there's a message that shows up at the top of the email so the preview you can have (not the reading pane) doesn't even show you the actual email, just the start of the warning notice  But because these [EXTERNAL] things get added to the subject line it breaks up the chain so when you sort by subject they are no longer together! Ugh, thanks IT.
