This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.
Diagnosis (if you've been):
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?):
How are things going?:
Any questions?:
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple?
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): First round of Provera and Clomid
How are things going?: Going between optimistically symptoms spotting to thinking about how let down I’ll be if it’s another BFN. something I’ve decided to do differently this time is take the PG test with DH so that where it’s negative or positive he will be there to offer some emotional support in that moment. I’ve always just taken them on my own then felt a second wave of disappointment when I told DH.
Any questions?: Anyone here still trying a medicated cycle through this COVID crisis? I think I’ll hold off on my next round of clomid until after this all clears up if I get a BFN.
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? DH has never blamed me even though it’s obviously my PCOS and is very on board for that ever I want to do to make this happen!
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFTO (waiting forever to O haha)
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): cancel cycled turned into natural cycle. probably going to do natural for a few months before calling for a 2nd FET.
How are things going?: I looked back in my charts.... my last shot of lupron from the first FET and the approximate date of O for the following cycle was 50 days... so..... I think I'm going to be stuck in WTO into May
Any questions?: nope
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? It's probably been more bad than good since he's already checked out from the process... but what has been good is that he's allowed me to go through that testing and a 2nd FET if that's what I want to do. He did have to convince me to cancel this cycle in the middle of the pandemic and that, as it turns out, was a good thing considering how sick I am today and the transfer would have been tomorrow!
*TW* History:
Me: 33 DH: 35 | Together since 2007 | Married July 2016

@tryingktogku - I like the idea of taking the HPT together, as I've always taken them alone as well. It's so hard having to process it all and then have to tell DH.
@inthewoods23 - Oh man, I'm sorry you're going to be stuck in WTO for so long! I'm really hoping the dietary changes are going to be the key for you! Are you still feeling great being GF and DF? I gave up red meat a month ago (which is all meat for me because I'm allergic to poultry) and I don't feel any different.. just craving tacos and a hamburger lol
Diagnosis (if you've been): Endometriosis, Borderline PCOS, Unexplained IF
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF - FET
How are things going?: Going thru all the normal emotions after a transfer - felt really positive the first few days, and now all the doubt is starting to creep in. So I was running low on 20G needles [that I use to draw the PIO with] and the pharmacist had told me the 22G that I inject with, is fine to draw with as well. So Friday I used my last 20G, and Saturday found out the hard way that it's dang near impossible to draw PIO with a 22G. Thankfully I was able to pick up some Sunday morning at CVS to get me thru the next week, and I have an order in for more [**that I will hopefully need**].
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? DH has never wavered in his unconditional support for whatever I want to do during this journey. He is very positive and reminds me all the time that we will be parents someday no matter what (whether they are biologically ours, or if we end up adopting).
@inthewoods23 sorry its taking forever to O! I know that feeling all to well! And my OB gave me three doses of clomid and said I could keep taking if I wanted but I am not going to if it didn’t stick this time! Sorry DH has checked out. Unfortunately everyone deals with these things differently. How have the diet changes been going! I’ve been GF and DF for 6months now! I did however breakdown and order a dairy free gluten free piazza because it’s the only thing I’ve been craving the last few months and today I broke haha
@feather_heather I love that your DH is optimistic and wants to make you a mom one way or another! also glad you got the right gauge needles!
I want to start off by sending so much love and hugs to @kiki047 and to @nitnat007. This is so unfair, so so so very unfair and it sucks so damn much. I wish, so badly, that we could give you some answers. I've been thinking about you two a lot lately and I'll continue to keep you both in my thoughts.
Diagnosis (if you've been): Secondary Unexplained IF
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): I think I should be in the TWW now, but who knows really!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): NTNP
How are things going?: Good good good! It's honestly been really nice to not think about planning out sex or stressing over if our timing was good enough. It just is and it's really nice to just be present in life. Other than NTNP things are just weird.... going food shopping and seeing all of the glass/plexi glass barriers between the cashiers and you, and hearing a reminder about social distancing play every 5 minutes there is something else, really, and leaves me speechless to be honest. I just can't wrap my head around all of this! It's sad.
Any questions?: Nope.
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? He's just always been my optimistic rock. He's always telling me that he's not worried, nor has he ever been worried, about us getting pregnant because he just "knows" it will happen for us. Boy, do I hope he's right! He also reminds me, whenever I get really down on myself and apologize for not giving him a baby yet, he tells me that he already has everything he needs to be happy so there's no need to apologize.
@tryingktogku we are not doing a medicated cycle, but we decided that before this covid stuff came about. I think if we were in the middle of one, and our RE was still doing them, we would continue though.
@inthewoods23 hopefully your body doesn't follow suit what it did last time and you get to O before May!
@feather_heather Girl, I am so damn hopeful for you right now!!! FX and everything else cross that this is the magical one!!

@feather_heather@tryingktogku diet has been fine. Since we're not doing the FET I sometimes let myself slip. Like I finished off the milk chocolate orange that was bought back around Christmas time and I had a chocolate turtle - just 1 though! I'm officially down 10lbs since starting. I think all my pants are actually loose!
@tryingktogku how was that pizza? DF cheese has been my least favorite part to this experience. I haven't had a chance to find and try different brands. So far I've only had Daiya. Their shredded mozzarella has a weird rubbery/processed taste to it that I don't like. We love making homemade pizza though so this is such a disappointing thing for me! Our freezer space is so small we really can't stock up on frozen pizza unless we planned on making it right away and in that case, we may as well make a fresh homemade one. I totally understand the pizza craving though! I definitely had that a few weeks into the diet where I was DYING to have a pizza.
@feather_heather lol yes the 22g takes forever! Weirdly estradiol valerate they gave me the syringe, an 18g needle and 25g needle but gave me differently for PIO. For PIO they had given me a syringe that already included a 22g and then a 25g needle for injection. My last order they finally opted to give me the same syringes and needles for PIO as they have been for the estradiol. Sadly I never got to use them because the world got cancelled lol.

@kpearse99 I haven't been out shopping in over a week, but when DH went out this weekend during the day, he said a lot of stuff is just GONE. I asked for cold/flu meds and he came back with all that was left which was a 68 pack of mucinex. Like jesus we do NOT need that much, also that's not what I asked for, and it's already a medication we already have at home. So omg we're never going to get through that package. We probably won't even open it before it expires next year lol.

@kpearse god your DH has been a rock for you during these times and that you are enjoying NTNP!
@inthewoods23 there is a local restaurant that does them and they are to die for. I’m not sure what vegan cheese they use because anything I’ve bought in store has been gross too expect for the earth brand Parmesan! That’s good!
@kpearse99 It has been really strange to go to the store during all of this. It's eerie. But then, I went into work on Friday, and on my drive home, traffic was just as heavy as it always is!
@feather_heather I'm echoing what @kpearse99 said. I'm so hopeful for you too! I can't wait for that grad thread to blow up!
@inthewoods23 I'm so sorry you're sick, and that you're waiting forever to O. As I mention below, I have done a terrible job of tracking this cycle, so who knows if I actually o'd or not. I feel like we're all just living in limbo.
@tryingktogku If I could have continued my medicated IUI right now, I absolutely would have. Maybe it's for the best that it was cancelled, but I am super anxious about lost time.
Diagnosis (if you've been): blocked tube, AMA
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW I think...
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): cancelled IUI, so just trying on our own.
How are things going?: I've been terrible about tracking things. So we've just done EOD HIO for the most part. Not placing a lot of stock on the success of this cycle.
Any questions?: Nope.
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple?
I think just validating my irrational bitter old hag feelings. When I had a breakdown in the middle of church after a surprise pregnancy announcement from the pulpit, he didn't hesitate one second to say that we needed to GTFO of there.
@tryingktogku you know, I've had the same issue with GF hamburger buns too. What I've had is fine for like... half the burger and then I give up because they're too dry. BUT whatever GF bun The Purple Cow down in Arkansas is using - SO good.

Popping in quickly to check in. Be back for tags later!
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained IF and RPL
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO (could be O-ing now, could have O-ed last night, no idea. OPKs have been negative BUT I had EWCM yesterday and today for the first time in a looooong time, so who knows?)
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): OPKs, BBT, HIO. We're on our own because IVF is on hold due to the pandemic.
How are things going?: Not bad. *TW* DH's cousin called me the other day to let me know she is KU again. It was tough to hear because they started trying a few months before us, had their DS, and now this will be their second. I'm happy for her though and I really appreciated that she was sensitive to my feelings before she did a big announcement. End TW* We had our phone consult with the genetic counselor today and she was great. I feel good knowing that as soon as we get the all-clear, we can get going on our IVF cycle.
Any questions?: Nope.
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? We've had a few fights and DH hasn't always been on board with the out-of-pocket cost of IVF, but he has never pushed me to do any treatments that I am not comfortable with.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO? CD15 if I used first day of bleeding after stopping BCP as CD1!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): FET cancelled, so trying on our own
How are things going?: ugh when will I ovulate! I know without fertility drug I sometimes ovulate late, around CD17, but by CD15 I should have seen a strong positive on the OPK...
Interview preparation has been going on well. I have passed three big name companies’ recruiter round. I am studying really hard for the technical interviews in the upcoming month, while trying to keep up with my current job.
Any questions?: natm
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? I am the one with greater sense of humor, so I just appreciate he laughs at all my IF jokes/memes... after all I am glad he finally acknowledged we have IF issues! He was so confident that we didn’t have fertility problem lol
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): I just spoke with my RE this morning - good news, my AMH and FSH were "dead normal for your age" - so yay! She also said they've reviewed the guidelines, and feel comfortable moving forward with the clomid!!!!!!!!! She said since they opened my tubes back up last cycle, they want to take advantage of it, and since clomid doesn't require coming in the office, it meets the guidelines. So... Here we go! She said to start it on day three, and it might make me "emotional" - she was worried about it during this time.
How are things going?: Hanging in there. Sad about CD2, but feeling hopeful now we get to start clomid!!!!!
Any questions?: How did you react to clomid? Is there anything weird I should know regarding OPK or temping?
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? I asked him if he wanted to pause trying - and he had obviously thought about it, and obviously had answers. I love that it's a priority for him. @pom9207 It really feels like we are in it together after he acknowledged there is a problem for sure! @emeraldduchess There have been a lot of announcements in my life too. It's such an icky feeling to have negative emotions when you WANT to be purely happy for them. @shoogapoff We were planning on trying either way. We are 35 and 43, so time is a real factor for us too. @inthewoods23 We are starting to get things back on the shelves (NY) I think people are too scared to go to the store now and are eating through what they panic bought. Big lots had toilet paper! @kpearse99It really does feel... apocalyptic... @tryingtogetknockedup Yup, we are going for it. My doctor looked at it and basically said "Well. You are already high risk because of your heart, so you are probably already taking all the measures we'd want you to if you got pregnant..." Yup. Lol.
@the_road_to_oz I don't know why I laughed at the phrase "dead normal". Just seems like a funny combo of words when talking about fertility! So happy they gave you the go-ahead to start clomid! @pom9207 good luck with all your interviews! @shoogapoff I'm so sorry you had to hear an announcement out of the blue at church like that. Church is supposed to be a safe place emotionally and it really sucks when you're sitting there and get hit with things like that. *TW* I almost walked out of church a few months ago too when the priest made a huge deal about a couple's newborn, the power of prayer and fertility. It just hit me in a weird place, especially since I had just found out my IUI failed. End TW* @kpearse99 I'm so glad the NTNP is giving you a good mental break! DH and I are still tracking things but definitely feel like the pressure is off since we know there's nothing else we can do or should be doing right now. I completely agree with you on how surreal this whole situation is. The bare shelves and the constant reminders about staying away from everyone...still feels like an apocalypse movie. And a bad one, at that. @feather_heather the TWW rollercoaster sucks. We're all keeping everything crossed for you! @inthewoods23 sorry you're so sick! That's awful, especially in the current health crisis. I hope your body gets its act together so you're not stuck in O for another whole month! @tryingktogku I considered asking if I could do a medicated cycle, but I decided against it because it would involve monitoring which sometimes has to be in a big city hospital. I wasn't comfortable going in there during this if I didn't have to. Maybe your RE can give you a better idea about whether or not you can/should at this time.
AFM, the OPK I took about 2 hours ago was blazing positive! Woohoo! I thought everything would be messed up and I'd be O-ing super late, but it's CD18 which is actually not too late for me. Yay!

@tryingktogku nice that your doctor is willing to give you clomid! Take extra caution to protect yourself at work
@inthewoods23 thanks friend! Sorry you are sick. Hope we get out of this limbo club sooner! (I am so conflicted though as I hate TWW as well
@feather_heather sending you all the positive vibes! My doctor ordered 22g needles for injection and I was so scared; now it seems like I won’t be using them until June...
@kpearse99 so glad the NTNP is helping with stress! I am in a similar boat as I don’t know where I am in the cycle 😆 so I tried to enjoy the sex without worrying about timing
@shoogapoff same! We have been doing HIO EOD as well
@emeraldduchess thanks! so glad your consultation meeting with the genetic counselor went well! So nice to know you can move along with IVF as soon as things get all cleared
@the_road_to_oz ahhh great news!! I am glad your doctor is onboard with giving it a try this month, as I have also heard the success rate after SHG/HSG can be improved!
@shoogapoff well hopefully the world settles down and everyone can resume their treatments soon. Unfortunately time is a factor for a lot of us TTC and I get feel like you are “losing time” due to the cancelled IUI. Hopefully you are enjoying loosely tracking tho! Sometimes it’s less stressful when you aren’t thinking about it like a medicated cycle
@emeraldduchess I suppose one partner has to be money sensitive too though during fertility treatments because I don’t know about you but I feel like I’d spend everything to get a baby and thank god my husband is more financially rational or we would be broke TTC lol and yay for positive OPK!
@pom9207 that’s so great you have a sense of humour going through this! I find when I can laugh about things I deal with them much better!
@[email protected]_road_to_oz well yay for being able to move forward! I found the clomid gave me two days of blazing positive OPKS and my temps were higher than normal all around! I did not feel any side effects from the medication however I did take it right before bed as instructed by my OB!
I told DH yesterday that in hindsight it's probably good we had to cancel because I am only 2 days past having low grade fever temps so a transfer wouldn't have been the best idea. Do they ever cancel cycles when people get sick?

@inthewoods23 - Ughh sorry girl Right now, with everything going on, they probably would have cancelled it because of your fever anyways... I had to pass multiple phone and in person checks about my health and my husband's health the 10 days prior to the transfer. If either of us had a cough or fever during that time it would have been cancelled. In normal life, I'm not sure!
@inthewoods23 HOLY CRAP that is a lot of mucinex!! hahaha Can you sell that on the "streets"?! bahaha
@shoogapoff It's kind of nice not tracking, right?! We've been pretty much EOD or EO2D too!
@emeraldduchess I'm sorry about that TW hit, man that would one sting for sure... BUT it's amazing news that you can hit the ground running with IVF as soon as this stuff is over and done with!
@pom9207 I'm sending positive vibes your way for these interviews!! FX!
@the_road_to_oz That's amazing news from your RE!!! Let's get this show started!!

@feather_heather that's what I'm assuming too. I have no idea what kind of measures they have in place around here if they are taking people's temps or what. Eh, oh well.
@kpearse99 omg it totally never occurred to me to use the Mucinex for FW time haha. Now I have a solid supply. Does it matter if it's maximum strength or not? Maybe DH will be the hero out of all of this in the end 😂

@inthewoods23 it needs to be the plain mucinex to use for FW. The only active ingredient should be guaifenesin.

@kpearse99 darn, the one I have is the expectorant and cough suppressant (Mucinex DM). Maybe it could still help?

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): I think right on the line of WTO & TWW, but don’t know for sure.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): NTNPish...took Letrozole 5mg and will start Progesterone around CD21 or so.
How are things going?: Pretty good! I’m definitely liking the more relaxed cycle, although I’m still fairly aware of where I am in my cycle since I tracked the beginning of it. I think it’ll be better next cycle (no tracking from the beginning), because I’m guessing we’ll be doing the NTNP approach until we can start IUI’s! Unrelated to TTGP...we have gotten into a nice groove with WFH, which has been so nice!
Any questions?: None right now.
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? MH has been my rock through this whole process (and life in general)! He hasn’t given up hope and tries his best not to let me get too discouraged either! He also reminds me that we will be parents someday one way or another!
@tryingktogku good plan to test with YH...that is what we do and it’s nice find out together and being there for each other. I’m currently on a medicated cycle and will most likely continue that (but with the NTNP approach), because I don’t ovulate without it, wont start IUI’s until all of this is over though. @inthewoods23 ugh, I hope O isn’t delayed that much for you! Sorry YH has already checked out from the process, but I’m glad you can still go through another FET (if it’s necessary)!
@feather_heather I’m so optimistic for you, friend! Sorry you are going through the whole roller coaster though! YH’s outlook sounds so similar to mine...it’s so great to have that unwavering support!!
@kpearse99 I’m so happy this NTNP is going so well, and is hopefully exactly what you needed for a break! I love YH’s support and constant encouragement! We skipped the grocery this week, but I heard they were adding sneeze guards at checkouts, that will be very different!
@shoogapoff ah, you should be covered pretty well with EOD! Fingers crossed so hard for you! Sorry that trigger happened, but good for YH to recognize it and get you out of that situation!
@emeraldduches so sorry for that TW, but that is so nice she handled it in that way! Still sending hugs your way though! 💜 That is great your genetic counseling call went well and you are good-to-go to start IVF once all this craziness is over!
@pom9207 so sorry for the O confusion, I hope it happens soon for you! That’s great news that your interview prep is going so well!
@the_road_to_oz that’s wonderful news that your #’s are as expected and that you can start your medicated cycle! Everything possible crossed that this is your cycle!
@bluetickgal Glad you're getting into the groove of WFH. That's not always easy. And glad you're enjoying the more relaxed approach as well. FX it does the trick and you don't even need IUI!
@inthewoods23 Geez, hope you’re not waiting much longer on WTO.
@feather_heather FX for you! Positive vibes only during this TWW😊🤞🏽
@kpearse So glad you’ve been feeling so wonderful during this NTNP time! I agree with you—being out for essentials feels very weird, very Handmaid’s Tale. I wore my mask & gloves to go to the bank today. Lots of people were covered up for safety.
@shoogapoff That church situation sounds so hard. Glad YH supported you through it!
@emeraldduchess Sorry for the surprise from your cousin. Glad she was sensitive to you.❤️
@pom9207 Best of luck with the job interviews! Sounds very promising that you made it this far.🤞🏽
@the_road_to_oz Sounds like good news all around! Hopefully the Clomid does the perfect job this upcoming cycle.
@bluetickgal Good to hear that things seem to be feeling smooth & going well over all. Sounds like these more relaxed cycles are doing a lot of us some surprising good.
Diagnosis (if you've been): RPL, elevated NK cells & activity, Blood-clotting disorders, AMA, DOR
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): between WTO & TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): I didn’t want to admit this last week because so many people were against unmonitored cycles, but I tried Letrozole for the first time this cycle. After all the cancelled ER drama & disappointment, I just couldn’t let this cycle go by without trying something. My RE was fine with prescribing a low dose of it without monitoring. I think my age has her willing to try more things. She gets it.
How are things going?: Just ok. I’d read that Letrozole/Femara can lead to days of early false positives on OPKs and late ovulation. Nope. My blazing OPK came out of nowhere & was accurate & O was on the early side, I think. So we only got in 2 rounds of HIO. Then we had arguments & it killed the mood so, I’m not so hopeful for this cycle despite my best efforts.
Any questions?:
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? Mad at him right now, so hard to answer this one when I want to stay mad hahaha. But truthfully, he’s been unwavering on this journey, encouraging me when I want to give up, saying he knows this is going to work.
@bluetickgal well I’m glad someone else test like that! I just don’t wanna do it on my own. And some part of me is like maybe if I switch it up the result will be different lol. How many medicated cycles have you done? I don’t O without meds either and the clomid worked but it’s been discontinued so I’ll be put in letrozole for the next time if there is a next time! (Trying to be optimistic)
@keikilove sorry your HIO got interrupted by an argument!! I hate when that happens but when you’ve been TTC for a while it’s bound to happen! Did you HIO close to O still? And I know how ya feel because I also continued with my unmonitored cycle (but I had started it before COVID erupted) I just didn’t stop it (I had taken the Provera but not the clomid and decided to just take the clomid anyway)
@keikilove thanks lady! I’m glad you went ahead with the Letrozole this cycle and didn’t seem to have any issues with O or OPK’s! My OPK’s are always slightly positive, but I think that has more to do with PCOS than the Letrozole...I get clear positives when O is near! Fingers crossed so hard for you that this is your cycle...2 rounds of HIO still gives you a great shot!
@tryingktogku hope you get good news when you test together! I started my first medicated cycle in May 2018 with Clomid...had 2 failed Clomid cycles, then they switched me to Letrozole. First cycle on the lowest dose had delayed O and they upped my dose the next cycle...I’ve been on 5mg since then. Total cycle count - 2 Clomid cycles, 13 Letrozole cycles, and 2 benched cycles (*TW - 1 after each of my losses - end TW*). I have only been monitored to the extent of BW to confirm O, and my RE isn’t even doing that now. This was supposed to be my first monitored cycle with IUI, but we decided to delay (and it probably would have been cancelled anyways). Sorry, you got the long answer there.
@bluetickgal wow that is a lot of medicated cycles. My Ob said she would only do 6 then we would have to look into other options. I was supposed to have my progesterone taken 5-7 days after O but obvs that was cancelled so now I am worried I have low progesterone just because I don’t know haha. Hopefully COVID comes to an end soon and you’ll get to do your IUI! Or it happens this cycle for ya without it!
@tryingktogku yeah...there is a lifetime cap with Clomid, but no cap with Letrozole (thank goodness)! I’m ready to be done with the medicine though! Try not to stress about progesterone, like you said...you don’t know, so no point in stressing when it very well may not be an issue! *Edited to fix grammar.*
@inthewoods23 I could be wrong, but I think the Mucinex you have will dry out mucus, instead of make it thinner and more watery. :-\

My RE forgot to call it in, and tomorrow is CD 4, so I would have needed to start it today. I reached out to her every way I could yesterday when I realized it didn't happen, and no response.
I called her on call, and they were SUPER rude. Like - I get it, things are shut for the emergency. I also know for a FACT she is working from home, I talked to her Monday, and the "we aren't doing any treatment cycles, so no i won't pass a message" nasty-ness I got from their on call receptionist was BS because I talked to the doctor less than 24 hours before.
@the_road_to_oz So sorry you had to deal with that rudeness!!! And that your doctor was unreachable. And that you missed out on the agreed-upon meds. So frustrating! I commiserate with your disappointment, sister.
@kpearse99 & @bluetickgal Thanks for the supportive comments!😊 I was afraid I might get bashed for doing anything unmonitored! But desperate times call for desperate measures.
@tryingktogtku I *think* it was good timing near ovulation. But since my cycle was off from BCP when we thought we were doing egg retrieval (FF has it recorded as 2 periods in one cycle) and since my CM came after my positive OPKs, and temp was all wonky, I have no idea. Praying for the best, keeping expectations low. Thanks for asking!
@the_road_to_oz that is super frustrating but also if you do get a hold of your RE you can take clomid CD 5-9 instead of 3-7 too! My OB said I can do whatever one I wanted lol
@keikilove well hopefully you DTD enough that one of times got it!
Sorry I have been MIA. Work has been crazy busy the past few weeks, and with treatments on hold...
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO? See question
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): HIO every other day during fertility week
How are things going?: meh.
Any questions?: I have had "high" but not "peak" OPKs for a week now. That is unusual for me because usually it is 2-3 days of "high" and then "peak". Anyone experience this after multiple medicated cycles? Wondering what the cause could be? I am not temping, so I don't have that for confirmation.
GTKY: What is the best thing your partner has done/said to help you through IF as a couple? He always reminds me we are in this together.
@nitnat007 and @kiki047 I am so sorry for both of you had failures. It is so not fair and heartbreaking. Hope you are both taking good care of yourselves.
@the_road_to_oz so sorry about that you can’t reach the RE. It’s definitely frustrating!
@keikilove if your doctor agrees to prescribe you Letrozole you should be fine! I hope the fertility drug does its magic!!
@bluetickgal glad working from home works for you well! Same here I got my work station set up and now it’s cozy and nice
@ramzlau I never got a high fertility showing using clearblue digital until this time! It always jumps to positive without showing the flashing smiley face. Both yesterday and today I got a high fertility reading, so I will see how long does it take to get to peak fertility
My RE sent me a message asking me if I am interested in initiating a cycle in the coming weeks!! I said of course interested, and he said to message him when my next period comes. Ahhhh!
I got my “high” fertility reading from clearblue digital yesterday morning, and today even though it’s still showing high fertility, I can see from the ejected strip that the test line is so much darker compared to yesterday’s strip. Seems like I may be able to start prepping for transfer in April!
Re: IF testing & treatment week of 3/30/2020
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle?
Diagnosis (if you've been): unexplained, low morph
TTC #1 since 7.2017
Dx: low morph (1%), ANA positive, low decidualization score, high TSH and testosterone, histone antibodies
IUI #1-3 | all BFN
IVF #1 | 6.11.19 | 24R, 17M, 15F, 6B, PGT-A tested - 5 normal, 3 girls & 2 boys
FET #1 | 9.10.19 | BFN "I know you, but we've never met. I'm with you, but I don't know your name"
RPL, Receptiva, & ERA testing | all normal/negative, recommended going on gluten and dairy free diet for next FET
FET #2 | 3.31.20 | Opted to cancelled due to pandemic, continued diet and tried naturally over the summer
2nd Opinion with another RE | 8.20.20 | Not immune to measles (received 1 dose); SA results similar to 2 years ago; decided to move forward with FET #2 redo at start of next cycle
Surprise natural BFP! | 9.22.20 | MC 10.23.20 at 8 weeks
TTCAL naturally | starting 11.22.20
Initial consultation with Reproductive Immunologist | 9.14.21
Decidualization score biopsy | 10.1.21 | abnormal - low score of 1; endometrial scratch recommended and progesterone supplementation
Saline sono | 10.15.21 | normal
Bloodwork | 10.21.21 | high TSH, high testosterone, positive for anti-nuclear antibodies and histone antibodies
BFP! | 11.3.21 | EDD 7.14.22
DS born 7.19.22 after induction
@feather_heather I love that your DH is optimistic and wants to make you a mom one way or another! also glad you got the right gauge needles!

@inthewoods23 there is a local restaurant that does them and they are to die for. I’m not sure what vegan cheese they use because anything I’ve bought in store has been gross too expect for the earth brand Parmesan! That’s good!
@shoogapoff yes! Limbo limbo limbo!

@kpearse99It really does feel... apocalyptic...
@tryingtogetknockedup Yup, we are going for it. My doctor looked at it and basically said "Well. You are already high risk because of your heart, so you are probably already taking all the measures we'd want you to if you got pregnant..." Yup. Lol.
End TW*
@kpearse99 I'm so glad the NTNP is giving you a good mental break!
@feather_heather the TWW rollercoaster sucks.
Yay!
@pom9207 welcome to the limbo club haha. GL on your future interviews!
@the_road_to_oz so glad you can do clomid during this time!

We have been doing HIO EOD as well
@the_road_to_oz ahhh great news!! I am glad your doctor is onboard with giving it a try this month, as I have also heard the success rate after SHG/HSG can be improved!

@pom9207 that’s so great you have a sense of humour going through this! I find when I can laugh about things I deal with them much better!
Oh wait 🤣
I told DH yesterday that in hindsight it's probably good we had to cancel because I am only 2 days past having low grade fever temps so a transfer wouldn't have been the best idea. Do they ever cancel cycles when people get sick?

@inthewoods23 ugh, I hope O isn’t delayed that much for you! Sorry YH has already checked out from the process, but I’m glad you can still go through another FET (if it’s necessary)!
you’re not waiting much longer on WTO.
more relaxed cycles are doing a lot of us some surprising good.
Mad at
him right now, so hard to answer this one when I want to stay mad hahaha. But truthfully, he’s been unwavering on this journey, encouraging me when I want to give up, saying he knows this is going to work.

Just. Ugh.
@keikilove well hopefully you DTD enough that one of times got it!
So. Frustrating.
Will be back from more tags later!
Same here
@ramzlau I never got a high fertility showing using clearblue digital until this time!
