Re: All Groups Check In w/o 2/10
Team pink/blue/green: It's a boy
Baby is the size of a(n): Baby!
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: Still half nauseous, half ravenous, and everything gives me heartburn. Also experiencing a lot of contractions at night. I'm thinking it's prodromal labor like I experienced with my first. Not fun. But I did have a really quick active labor with her so if it's going to cause that in the end, I'll take it.
Upcoming appts: Weeklies start tomorrow.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I am so ready for this baby to come out. I'm so tired of feeling weak and tired and not at all like myself. And my kids have no school next week so that should be fun. 2 more weeks and then I'll be wishing him out in earnest.
Team pink/blue/green: 💗
Baby is the size of a(n): Cantaloupe
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: I'm entering the "everything is sore" portion of pregnancy. I just feel tired and slow all the time now. I feel like I'm starting to run out of room (& steam) these days, but doing my best to hang in there. Still trying to enjoy what's left of my pregnancy as this is my last.
Upcoming appts: Not until 2/18.
Rants/Raves/Questions: My sprinkle was yesterday and boy did I really feel the love from my friends and family. It was perfectly low key and I'm happy that I was able to celebrate DD a bit. 💗 I can't believe my time with DS as my only is almost over. My heart aches some days over this and I just wish I could physically do more with him, but my pregnancy belly is just so in the way now. At least we snuggle constantly.

@puppylove8910 I'm so glad your sprinkle went well! enjoy these last few weeks with DS as an only LO!
EDD/W+D: almost 33 weeks
Team pink/blue/green: pink!
Baby is the size of a(n): my app says she's about as tall as a wine bottle today lol
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms:congestion & nose bleeds... sleeping is SO HARD with these breathing problems. I have saline rinse, nose strips, and a humidifier and still can't sleep through the night because of it.
Upcoming appts: Not until March 3 at 36 weeks! The stretch between 32 and 36 kind of sucks but I know I get a quick U/S on the 3rd to see where baby's head is at - so that's exciting! I haven't seen her since my anatomy scan.
Rants/Raves/Questions: eh not right now.

Baby is the size of a(n): small baby lol.
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: I have a definite waddle, and lots of stuff is sore. Sleep sucks unless I take Unisom, and even then I wake up because my hips hurt and I need to change positions. Or pee. I pee about 15 times per night. Baby girl likes to punch me in the cervix and still kicks like crazy, but I can tell she's running out of room! Oh, and tons of BH contractions, but I had the same with my son so I know it means diddly.
Upcoming appts: Weeklies start Thursday!
Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm both excited to be done, and terrified that she'll be here so soon! I'm operating at about 60-75% of my normal capabilities (both emotionally and physically lol), so handling my 22 mo is challenging. I'm lucky that my husband is AMAZING and tries to make my life as easy as possible.

@momoftoddlers are you having legit contractions, or just BH? Prodromal labor effing sucks. Kuddos to you for handling both your kids next week - I'm pretty sure I'd need to be hospitalized for exhaustion and mental health at this point if I had to do that LOL.
@puppylove8910 I also struggle with trying to enjoy what's left of this pregnancy, and what's left of DS's time as an only child. *sigh* the transition is going to be rough.
@chichiphin every time I change positions in bed (read: 2659787 times per night) I have to blow my nose. Sometimes I freak DH out because I'll suddenly take a deep breath because my lungs are so squished and nose breathing just doesn't cut it LOL.

Team pink/blue/green: GREEN!
Baby is the size of a(n): Mini-Lop Rabbit (SO CUTE).
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: I can’t breathe and I want my lungs back. Baby is head down but posterior like my last and my oh my are the movements WEIRD.
Upcoming appts: Thursday for Group B test and weekly from now on… crazy!
Rants/Raves/Questions: RANT: I just can’t care about work any more, digestion blows, I hate eating, and I’m so tired. That is all haha.
@momoftoddlers Hard to believe weekly appointments are starting! Like you, I can’t wait to breathe again and feel less tired (or a DIFFERENT kind of tired). Sorry for the early contractions but FX it does as it did last time!
@puppylove8910 But you are giving DS a sibling! Best gift ever! And yay for a sprinkle! Sounds lovely!
@chichiphin lol to your app reminding us all of wine! I don’t even drink, but if I did, I would want to now haha. I also totally agree re: the stretch between 32-36! I’ll be at 36 this week and glad as it gets more “interesting.”
@stassischroeder I want to actually count how many times I pee tonight. I think it legitimately is 15. Crazy.

Baby is the size of a(n): quokka
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: not much since getting my plague/cold from h3ll. I’m drinking a lot of tea.
Upcoming appts: 2/20. Then weekly. Hoping baby is no longer breech by then or I need to talk about ECVs with my OB.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Just wanna feel less tired and get 100% over my cold.

Baby is the size of a(n): large Pomeranian?
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: my hips are killing me! If I sit for more than 30 minutes without moving, I can barely walk. Other than that, nothing pregnancy-related!
Upcoming appts: NST and cervical check on Thursday, then induction a week from today! 😱
Rants/Raves/Questions: Rant- DH had a cold last week and was complaining nonstop. Even with all the cleaning and sanitizing I've been doing around the house to try to prevent catching anything, it seems that I now have it. Perfect timing! Hoping it doesn't last too long -- trying to save strength at this point.
Rave - was 2cm dilated at my last appointment. It's not much, and I know it can stay at 2 for a while, but it's kinda reassuring that my body isn't completely clueless!

@puppylove8910 Well, they did an US for me a few weeks back and baby was—as were my last. I also have an anterior placenta so it is more likely. BUT I can tell from the movements. A few things: you can feel little fingers roaming around your cervix/lower uterus, you don’t really feel “kicks,” you can feel (and SEE) the butt/back moving in crazy positions, and, for me, movements feel JUST like they did with DS. That said, most posterior babies rotate during birth.
@grga I am likely “leaving” work March 2 at the latest and am due 3/12. That said, I expect this baby at least a week early, so who knows. I’m so jealous you are really almost done with work!
@silverhope haha I am pretty disciplined, but I’ve been a vegan since I was VERY young (vegetarian at 6, vegan at 11), so I don’t know what I am missing, if that makes sense!
@heyahelmett OMG SO SO soon for you!

Baby is the size of a(n): celery
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: Homemade baked goods, have been making muffins and cookies from scratch every weekend. No aversions really, but I did have to leave the lunch room early yesterday because I did NOT care for the smell of whatever my coworker heated up in the microwave. I think LO is head down now, lots of pressure in the bladder, which is now waking me up at night in addition to just being uncomfortable due to the bump. I don't have swelling or anything which is nice. Still dealing with extra congestion and a few bloody noses.
Upcoming appts: next Tuesday, which is the last of the biweeklies, and then starting weeklies the first Tuesday in March!
Rants/Raves/Questions: Rant: SO done with work, it's our slow season plus I have extra help because I'm training my replacement while I'm leave. Knowing leave is around the corner is making me so unmotivated.
Rave: On the other hand, I'm loving how much time I've gotten to spend in the evenings and on the weekends with DH. We're getting so much done around the house and having such nice quality time before LO comes.
Questions: I'm out of questions I think! Our hospital tour plus our childbirth class from last week has me feeling prepared. I finally sat down and wrote my birth plan yesterday too. I'm considering taking an online breastfeeding class, although breastfeeding info was included in one section of our childbirth class, so not sure if I would just be getting repeat information.

Baby is the size of a(n):
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: Definitely sore in the pelvic region.. baby is head down and super low. It feels like she is ready to fall out or something... I've definitely got the waddle going on. Also tired, I feel like I could sleep for days.
Upcoming appts: weekly monitoring w/ ultrasound and NSTs (due to GD). At my last appointment, I was told I could be induced at 39 weeks due to the GD, but I'm hoping to hold out for natural labor to start.. One OB I saw told me they were perfectly fine with waiting for natural labor, the other told me I 'had' to induce by 39 weeks.. so.. yeah. I have no idea what to think at this point.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Sort-of Rant.. I feel so unprepared for this LO.. I still need to wash/put away clothes, get the basinett/swing/baby seat out of the basement and clean the stuff, and buy diapers and a car seat.

Baby is the size of a(n): butternut squash
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: I always crave soup this time of year. (Anyone have any favorite recipes to share? Need to change it up!) For symptoms, just the usual sore hips at night, and sore everything if I sit too long especially in the car. Never got around to physical therapy and yoga seems to be aggravating the pubic symphysis pain. I think it’s just time to take it easy. The weepiness seems to be a little better this week thankfully because that was throwing me more than physical symptoms.
Upcoming appts: Mon 2/17 with the midwife. Decided to skip the 3rd tri ultrasound
Rants/Raves/Questions: Probably finishing work after next week (week 35). I’m feeling ready to be home and settle in and also really nostalgic for the things I love about my job and my clients. Some of them have been so hard to say goodbye to, and have been so sweet for our last shifts together and given gifts to the baby.

Baby is the size of a(n): two mason jars stacked?
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: I've been much more tired this week and just generally feel bad.
Upcoming appts: I went today and I'm already over 50% effaced and 1 cm dilated! Next apt is 2/21.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Feeling excited but also like I have a ton to do. I'm a FTM- I know I can sit at 1 cm dilated for weeks but I'm still encouraged that there has been some progress!
