My boyfriend says he was certain of the baby's gender because of how I was carrying and ended up being right! Which is funny because I swore up until we opened the envelope together this evening that it was the other gender from a "gut feeling"
Did anyone have to go back? They said they couldn't get a good picture of her heart and brain. They don't seem too concerned, they want me back during the third trimester. Just makes me a but nervous...
@baebaek2020 with my son I had to go back 3 times and almost a 4th because he was in the wrong position to get a good picture of his heart 😂 I was just happy to get more chances to see him lol

@baebaek2020 my sister is due in July and she had to go back because they couldn’t capture all the heart images they need to. It was quick and they said it was all good but they just like to capture all those imagines well now.
@baebaek2020 similar to @mflowers929, last time around I had to go back twice because the couldn't get all the measurements due to baby's position (and lack of cooperation 😂) and all was fine. But - they didn't wait until the third tri, they just had me go back a week later.
This was at 18w4d. Excited to go back for the anatomy scan tomorrow! As a FTM, just a little bummed that hubby can't join me due to coronavirus lockdown
Thank you so much @jennifer_louise@mflowers929 and @ktholysz that makes me feel better. I was trying not to freak. I'm hopeful by the time I got back my husband can go too.
Our little boy at 19+1! Everything looks good so far. He wiggled a lot and was stubborn for the tech but she seemed to get everything she needed. I can’t wait to see him!!!
20w3d we had our anatomy screen and it went swimmingly! Everything is right on track and I couldn’t be happier. I was sad not to have DH there but I got to video a little of it and they gave me a ton of print outs.
@ktholysz right?? It was so neat! Their machine can switch over pretty easy so she did some for me while we waited a bit for him to turn. They gave me one for my 12 week too but that one didn’t come out as well!
@beaandthebabes Aw that’s nice that you could get a video and lots of prints to share with your H! So precious!
@greyl Envy about your 3D images turning out. That is so cool! They tried pretty hard to get some for me, but a hand was up and her face was smooched up against the placenta. So all of them looked like a hollowed our half of a face horror film image. The tech even said “well those are all terrifying.” 😆
My AS is in an hour, I'm actually dreading it just because of going alone. Praying everything's alright, I know I won't be able to handle anything other than good news on my own.
@Louise_Belcher Omg hahaha I’m just thinking about what that looked like! awww that’s a bummer!! Yeah he wasn’t cooperating at first either and they looked pretty weird but she tried again and was able to get that one and this one ⬇️ I hope you can get some 3D of her if you get another scan later on!
@readytobemama so perfect!! I’m amazed at your ability to stay team green! I always thought I would be green but I couldn’t wait!
Had my anatomy scan today (well, technically yesterday .. May 1st). The techs aren't allowed to say anything in Ontario and we aren't finding out gender so not much to report ... the baby would not flip so she said she was hopeful she got enough images of the heart so that I don't need to do a repeat. I've never been to this lab before but they can't print pictures ... the tech said she could put some on a CD for me but I just snapped a few of the screen from my phone
Had my US yesterday! Baby was head down, facing the floor, posterior placenta, and wouldn’t change position at all! It was difficult to get images, but tech said she got everything she needed. Baby is currently 10 ounces 144BPM (due date sept. 24)
My AS at 20+2. Baby girl is healthy and growing great. HR 152 and estimated weight 13oz. She's even quite the acrobat with legs over her head 😂 I agree @beaandthebabes it was sad not to have DH there especially since this will be our last pregnancy. However as long as she's good, we're good! Congrats to everyone on reaching this milestone. It's nice to come here and see so many great pics considering there's so much ugly in the world right now ❤
Baby A and Baby B are girls!! They weigh 12 and 13 ounces, which is a normal singleton weight. I am hoping they keep on track since multiples are typically smaller. My anxiety has been through the roof over here with our history and what’s going on in the world, particularly our state. I’m going to try to stop be here more since things are slowing down with work and hopefully calming down with our 2.5 year old!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 I was hoping you would update soon! Glad to hear your scan went well! Yay for two girls. Mine are both girls as well. I’m still waiting on my anatomy scan though. Hoping they are growing well. I’ve been reading the book “When you’re expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads” by Dr. Barbara Luke. It was highly recommended on a multiples board I sometimes visit. It’s really good. She had a done a lot of research on birth weights of multiples and the causes of low birth weights. I’m realizing I am not eating enough for twins. I highly recommend reading it if you haven’t!

@NYTino24 yay! congratulations on your healthy girls!! that's amazing that they're growing on track! I can imagine how overwhelming things must be right now. We miss you here!!
23 weeks at the time this was taken! We did a offsite ultrasound because my husband couldn't be at the hospital, so we paid a center to do another one for us that he was allowed to be at. It was honestly really nice, they took the time to explain more and show us more. And it was projected on a huge screen the whole time which was great.

All went well, baby wouldn't sit still but got a few good shots! Such a precious experience ❤️ We're team green still!
