It's a boy! I'm officially going to the mom of 2 boys! I'm slightly sad I don't get to dress the baby in adorable bows and tutus or use my girl name (which I love), but overall ecstatic because little boys are just the best (and don't turn into teenage girls, haha). Bonus: I pretty much don't have to buy ANY new clothes! Now I'm going to need the next 6 months to figure out what to name him, since I'm pretty sure we used the only name I like enough to give my kid on DS. Also, we're not telling anyone IRL, so you guys get to be in on the big secret.

@shamrocandroll I was a bit disappointed when DS2 wasn’t a girl, but honestly it worked out well. The boys are pretty much best friends, share everything and HAND ME DOWNS. DS1 goes to an uniform school and you better believe I’m hoarding them. 🤪
@shamrocandroll I currently have 2 boys and they are the best! Already best friends and inseparable. You will love it.
I’m team green till the end. But I’m pleasantly happy to see a few ladies with 2 same gender siblings get a third of the opposite! Fingers crossed even though I’m happy with either.
how did you know one was a girl? my doctor said that if our twin results from the NIPT came back "boy" he wouldn't know if it was one boy or two -- I'm wondering if there's a newer or more accurate test I can ask for.
@shamrocandroll Also my concern if baby three is another boy. DS1 and DS2 are 2.5 years apart and they’re awesome together. They play and fight nonstop, but DS1 also teaches DS2 a ton. this baby will be 4.5 years younger than DS2, so I don’t feel the interest will be the same.
@shamrocandroll they are only 15 months. Not really planned that way, just a happy surprise. I wanted them closer to 2 years, but BC was making feel awful... so welcomed DS2 a few months earlier than anticipated!
Congrats to all those who have found out so far! Learned today we will be having a second girl. A little sad we won’t get to have a boy (we are pretty confident this is our last one), but know from experience that the bond between sisters is very special. It’s all starting to feel so much more real!
I just wanted to say that the people who are team green are far more patient than me! I don't know how you do it. I found out gender around 12 weeks and wish I had known even sooner. It's hard for me to imagine not knowing. I do think there is a huge pay off for the day you have your baby to find out then and that may outweigh it but man that is some patience I wish I had!
When my mom had me she didn't know if she was having a boy or girl. She already had a son before me and apparently she was so happy to have a girl that she was running up and down the hospital hallways screaming to people about how she had a girl.
