It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
We're having identical TWINS! 2 healthy heartbeats (117 and 121) and measuring on track. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. I'm so overjoyed I can't contain it!
@daffodil_shoe thanks! I couldn’t see her measuring it (she had the screen turned), but my googling pointed me in that direction. I’m a huge worrier by nature, so if there’s something to worry about, I’ll find it! 😝
Had my first appointment this morning. We saw the heartbeat 💗 My midwife only measured once, from one angle and got to 6w6d, where I should be 7w5d, but everything looked okay. I’ll have my second ultrasound on July 23rd and then they should be able to see a lot more.
Twins run in my SO’s family, but I already thought it was a singleton. I had that same feeling last time. Funny how that works 😄
@FakeFinn it wouldn’t matter if twins run in your SO’s family. Identical twins are not genetic, and your SO’s genetics can’t make you ovulate more than one egg for fraternal twins.

I know science, thank you. It may not be a rational thought, but my SO having an identical twin, him having several identical twin cousins on his dad’s side of the family and on top of that both SILs (his sister and his SIL) having conceived twins did make me wonder if we could have a twin pregnancy as well.

Wow, sassy, ok. I was just explaining something because a lot of people have that misconception 🤷🏼♀️

Sorry! I didn’t mean for it to come across that b*tchy 🙈 Long day at work, annoying things, you might know that drill. I apologise.
Here’s baby! Measuring at 7 weeks instead of 8w5d so due date got pushed back to2/17, but I knew I ovulated really late in my cycle so I was expecting that.
Had some major twin vibes/dreams but obviously that’s not coming true. Still not sure if I’m relieved or disappointed. Lol.
Initially had a due date of 2/11 and went to my 8w sono and only measured 6w0d. I’m trying to be optimistic (I had missed my period over two weeks before I had a BFP) but I have a repeat next week to see if growing or not
@kives22020 I had an ultrasound yesterday and all they saw was an empty sac I have to go back in a week and see if anything has grown. We are not optimistic as we are sure of my dates due to iui. I am a mess right now and this wait is killing me.
