Upcoming Appointments: MW on Thursday. 5/2 is my A/S
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): congested to all crap. I’m so over it.
Rants/Raves: I’m exhausted. We had wicked storms early this morning and, for some reason, we had two smoke alarms randomly chirp three beeps once each during such (they’re the hard wired kind where all go off if there’s smoke and it yells “fire fire” in the middle)
Questions:
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (candy or otherwise)? I don’t eat candy or Easter sweets 🤷🏼♀️
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Going on week 2 of a head cold - if I wasn't pregnant I think it would have been NBD. But since my gag reflex is so sensitive, I have been doing a log of coughing til I puke, or gagging on phlegm until I puke. So glamorous.
No cravings this week because the cold has completely ruined my appetite ☹
Rants/Raves: My SIL reached out to me this weekend about planning a baby shower. I'm so excited!
Questions: For those of you who have multiple showers (for example, we'll have 2 in different states since my H's family is OOT), do you invite anyone to both/all showers? I assume the grandmas will be invited to both, and my sister/SIL/nieces as well? What's the etiquette with inviting people to multiple showers? I don't want anyone to feel they need to give multiple gifts, but also don't want anyone to feel excluded.
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (candy or otherwise)? Mini robin egg whoppers!
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Over the last couple days my nausea has gotten so much better. I’m not back to normal yet, but I can function again. Of course, a tiny part of my brain is worried about my symptoms going away, but the more rational part is saying that my nausea should be going away around now. So, yay.
Rants/Raves: We told the rest of our family over the weekend. My niece was so excited to be getting another baby cousin. Telling people and knowing the sex is starting to make this all seem more real.
Questions: Any STM+ have recommendations for double strollers? DD will be 2 when baby arrives.
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (candy or otherwise)?
I treat myself to one Cadbury cream egg per year. Just having one strikes the right balance between nostalgia and gross sugar overload.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I'm still pretty exhausted some of that has to do with my constant headaches in sure though. Nothing is helping my headaches and its annoying, I'm thankful they are not turning into migraines though. Allergies are kicking the butts of everyone in my house too so there's that.
Rants/Raves: , DH is such a baby when he does feel well. I was so pissed yesterday and when he said he was sorry that I had such a crappy day I told him he made me feel like a single parent all day on a Sunday when I felt like crap, he said i'm sorry you felt that way. That was not the response I was looking for. I'm trying to not let it set my tone for today but I'm still kind of pissed about it.
Questions: Nada
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? I love jelly bean and Reese's Eggs
@cmbt2 That super sucks about your fire alarms. Hopefully you were able to go back to sleep easily.
@galentine I'm sorry you are still feeling sick! Also, not sure about the multiple showers. Who would be throwing the showers? How far away is the travel?
@greenbean-2 I've been looking at the Evenflo Xpand travel system and it looks really nice! Comes with a second seat and it's got the modular look which I love.
@kindbytealikat Love jelly beans (especially the Jolly Rancher and Starburst ones) and Reese's Eggs! And sorry about DH.

Upcoming Appointments: Not until 5/01
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Still meh. My face is breaking out like crazy, which makes me super self-conscious. Also, sorry for TMI, but gassy.
Rants/Raves: Found out the sex on Saturday, so I feel like I can start looking at all of the girl stuff! I'm definitely a lover of pink so YAY! But now I think DH and I (but really more me) need to look through what we have from DS so we can plan appropriately for purchasing new items.
Questions: nope
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? While I love Easter candy, I really looking forward to some yummy deviled eggs and ham with mayo-mustard sauce.
TTC #1: September 2013, BFP 01/01/14, DS 09/14 TTC #2: October 2018, BFP 02/02/19, EDD 10/14/19
@cmbt2 No candy at all? I’m not sure I would have survived first tri, all that made me feel better sometimes was sour candy.
@galentine With my first, my mom, grandma, and sister were invited and came to all of my showers. They bought a big gift for the in town shower and then small (like clothing or diapers) for the other showers.
@greenbean-2 we had a babytrend sit and stand double (Millenium) which we liked because it was narrower than our jogging stroller when DS2 was still in the infant seat (the infant seat attached to the stroller). When DS2 was bigger we had the Expedition double jogging stroller which I loved for ease of maneuvering, the speakers, and the kids could keep each other company and share a blanket.
@kindbytealikat oooh, allergies are the pits and then combine with DH not being helpful and headaches. I hope you all feel better soon!
@stephanie123456 congrats on team pink! And now I want deviled eggs!

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: find out ASAP!
Upcoming Appointments: Next Wednesday is our NT scan
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I’m not going to still say nausea because it’s more just a general feeling like crap with GI distress at this point. It does mostly come at night though which lets me get things done at work.
Rants/Raves: 2 more foster classes! Getting closer to being done with classes that end at 9 pm which is way past my bedtime nowadays!
Questions: none
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? I love honey baked ham. I also love the robins egg whoppers and starburst jelly beans.
TeamFinding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out - getting impatient since so many of our regulars here already know 🙃
UpcomingAppointments: Not for a month
Howareyoufeeling: I still get tired very easily, but I haven’t been sleeping super well either. Cravings are random, but salads always sound good
Rants/Raves: Rant - I’ve randomly been having chest pain/pressure. I can’t figure out if it’s heartburn or congestion from the cough/mucus I’ve had for a couple of weeks Rant - My poor FIL is having so many complications from chemo. He’s in the hospital with multiple blood clots now 😔 Rave - Coffee seems to be helping my headaches! Rave - We’re finally about to book our summer beach trip with my family, I can’t wait!
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? I have quite the sweet tooth and Easter candy is probably my favorite. Cadbury creme eggs, mini Cadbury eggs, Reese’s eggs... as for non-candy I love deviled eggs
Upcoming Appointments: This Thursday the 18th for our 16w check up.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I woke up with a cold this morning so I feel like crap 😢 Other than that I was feeling pretty good. Just hungry all the time.
Rants/Raves: see above about the cold.
Questions: I’m really looking forward to feeling this little one move. Has anyone else felt any movement yet?
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? I love Easter! The full Easter meal to all the Easter candy. And I’m a huge fan of deviled eggs.
@greenbean-2 We have the Baby Jogger City Select double... it's like pushing a train! I wanted a tandem double stroller initially, b/c I thought the side by side was unrealistic to take to stores, the mall, restaurants, etc, but honestly, I rarely take our double to public places unless DH is going to be there to push and steer it. We mostly use it around the neighborhood now. DS1 had just turned two when DS2 was born. Their weight distribution just made it hard for me. But we also got the skateboard glider/attachment, which DS1 still loves. If I had to do it over again, I would get the Phil&Ted's double, with the seat on the bottom for the older child to hop in and out of.

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Blue
Upcoming Appointments: Not until early May
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Hungry all the time. Still on my lemon kick.
Rants/Raves: RANT: Dealing with some team blue disappointment feelings last week/weekend. Which in turn prompts some guilty/bad mom/bad human feelings. Needed to step away from TB and all things baby. I think I am coming out of it this week though. RAVE: Did some retail therapy and bought some super cute outfits for the boys for Easter and springtime. I am totally upping my preppy-matching-outfit-game for the boys. DH normally would freak out over my shopping spree, but he's a little sad for me right now so he just said "oh, that's cute!" Also RAVE: I have some very, very supportive friends and family who have really tried to cheer me up over the past few days.
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? I'm not big on candy, but I love brunch. Looking forward to a yummy homemade Easter brunch on both Saturday and Sunday with each of our families.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): feeling pretty good and enjoying this energy boost while it lasts!
Rants/Raves:
Rants: allergy season blahhhh - spring is always bittersweet for me. I’d love nothing more than to open all my windows, air my house out and take walks outside to see all the lovely blooms. However, I’m kinda trapped inside until Spring is well underway or sometime around end of May otherwise it’s full blown allergy attacks.
Raves: sex drive is back up and better than ever ... enjoying it while it lasts 🤣
Questions:
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? Reeses eggs - specifically frozen
@emily1052 I just started feeling movement in the past couple of days, it’s been few and far between (15wks/3rd baby). With my first I felt him at about 19/20ish week. It’s definitely the most exciting thing to look forward to!
@cmbt2, "I dont eat any candy" is a phrase that does not compute in my brain. It feels appropriate to offer my condolences.
@greenbean-2, I agree: the more people we tell, the more real it feels. I'm 100% out now IRL (although I haven't yet posted anything on social media), and it feels way more real now!
@stephanie123456, congrats on team pink!! 💖💖 I love the photo from the reveal!
@quidditchcapn1120, thanks for the baby shower advice. That is exactly what I was thinking, but I'm glad to hear that's what other people have done!
@melanier26, I'm impatient for you to find out too, LOL. Did you do NIPT or will you be finding out at the A/S?
@junebabyh, I'm so sorry for the slight team blue blues. Hugs ❤
@emily1052, I have not felt baby move yet, or at least I don't think I have. I want so badly to feel her!! 💖 I am on high alert at all times, especially when lying still and quiet at night. I feel lots of little bubbly feelings, but I just attribute everything to digestion 🙈😂 If it is baby.... then dearest daughter, I sincerely apologize for mistaking you for a fart.
@galentine sorry to hear about your cold! That sounds awful. @kindbytealikat jelly beans sound SO good right now! @melanier26 salads totally always sound good! @emily1052 no movement feelings here yet, but I've got a hunch they're coming soon.

How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): decent. My ribs and hips are beginning to hurt from sleeping... The same thing happened with my first, my acupuncturist told me it was due to the fact your muscles relax during pregnancy. I can't wait until I can find my pregnancy pillow in this see of boxes, it helped a ton last time!
Rants/Raves: Dish Network came out today and told us we don't have a line of sight for service! It sounds like a rant, but it's a rave because we now have high speed internet and we were planning on canceling regardless to get Hulu TV, but this saves us almost $400 in cancelation fees 🙌🏼
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? Reese's + Deviled Eggs! I also used to love these pastel life savers when I was younger, the banana was my favorite! but I haven't seen them in years 😭
@nnaelilak Happy to know I'm not the only one, though I wish you happiness/contentment, too. Let me contradict myself slightly here... but two boys is AWESOME!!! They are the perfect little playmate set. It's the loss of a wish that will never be (most likely) that I am struggling with. But two little bestie brothers is wonderful. I'm kind of wishing I had been satisfied with just my two, b/c now I feel like I'm going to disrupt what they have goin' on. Anyway, if that helps at all...
@junebabyh it does! That is what helps me get excited, my son desperately deserves a little brother lol He is so physical and active and is absolutely going to love it!! I also mourn the loss of what could have been, I always wanted girls when I was growing up and my best friend owns a bow shop, I was so excited to support her and buy all the girly things! I know that by the time he gets here I'll be thrilled, it's just taking me a bit to adjust 💚 and I'm sure that your two little guys are going to absolutely love having a third brother, they may need adjustments too, but all of my friends that are 3 boy moms adore it!

How are you feeling?: Still vomitting (please send help) but nausea is pretty much gone. Feeling pretty overwhelmed, DH is still in school and it's finals weeks so he understandably can't be as supportive as he'd like to be and I've been having to travel out of town for weeks at a time which has been difficult. I'm also quite young and have no friends who have had children yet so I'm starting to feel a little isolated and it's hard to be excited 😣
Rants/Raves: Idk if pregnancy related but I am having my first eczema breakout in 10+ years and it's only on my face, boooo. SO happy for nice weather

How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Struggling. I thought I was good and now I’m back to feeling sick and everything sounds disgusting. Whyyy!
Rants/Raves: MH solidified our team greenness when I told him our blood test could tell us in two weeks and he was like WHAT NO! Which is hilarious because he was very anti team green the first time. I’m itching to know lately, but knowing he is firm helps me. I’m sure you all are tired of hearing me go on about this 😆
Questions: When will the first tri misery end?! Jk. Kind of..
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? Reeses eggs forever and ever 😋😍
@Schumerator, I, for one, am not at all tired of hearing the team green info. I thought briefly I might want to be team green and I caved so quickly. I find it fascinating why people choose to be team green or not, and all the little thought process changes along the way. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to make it as team green with a future pregnancy someday 😊
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): tired, sore abdomen, super hungry
Rants/Raves: Apparently I now have atopic dermatitis so that's super fun but it's getting better the warmer the weather is outside. Also, I know we have to stay hydrated (and I'm thirsty so it's not hard) but I think I had to pee every 45-60 min today.
Questions: If you found out the gender, how did you tell you SO? I bought silly string...
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? Is there anything better than a Reese's egg?
@Schumerator same as @galentine lol I'm living vicariously through all you team greeners because I could never do it, but absolutely love the idea of it!!
@galentine I would invite all family and really close friends to both. I think it’s always better to invite than for someone to feel like they are left out. Then you could always tell them personally they don’t need to feel obligated for a gift at both.

Questions: I’ve been searching the boards about SCH. Anyone else dealing with this?
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? Cadbury eggs

@nanner26 I had some spotting/light bleeding for about a week because of sch. It was around week 7 & 8 I think. When I brought it up at my first regular appointment I asked my doctor (saw a different one for the bleeding) and she said they were fairly common and moved on. I’m going under the assumption mine is gone since she didn’t say anything about seeing it on my ultrasound this time. It’s definitely an uneasy feeling but hopefully yours ends up being fairly smooth. Things on the internet we’re quite overwhelming to me when I was looking on google!
@sammygirl18 Googling has definitely been overwhelming! I feel like I didn’t ask enough questions when it happened. Hopefully I get a clearer idea tomorrow when I see the doctor. Thanks for sharing!
@aylaevalyn I’m sorry you’re still sick! That’s so miserable. As far as meeting other moms to be, do you have any interest in prenatal yoga? I did postnatal yoga after my first and it was a great way to get to know new moms. I’m planning to start prenatal yoga soon now that the tuck ones is starting to subside.
@nanner26 I had an SCH with both pregnancies but they were small. With the first I had no bleeding. This time around I had some bleeding, which was terrifying. There was a support thread for women with SCH in the July 2017 BMB, so take a look for that. Everyone who was there had a happy outcome. ETA: I’m putting in a general TW for that SCH thread. I just re-read it and there was some scary stuff going on for awhile. But all was well in the end.
Questions: Any STM+ have recommendations for double strollers? DD will be 2 when baby arrives.
We have a babytrend double jogger for at home. That thing is a monster. My recommendation though is for our Jeep double umbrella. I keep it in the car. It's a side by side but I haven't found a doorway it didn't fit through. I even take it to doctor appointments. It's lightweight but sturdy. I love it.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Better than last week! Less gagging and dry heaving. Less food aversions. Still in a lot of back/sciatic pain 🥴
Rants/Raves: I am showing already because second baby. Feels real weird
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? Woah. Is it strange that i have no food associations with this holiday???
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: We haven't decided. We were team green with our first, and found out with our second. I love the surprise, but with this one being our last, it'd be nice to go ahead and get rid of half of our baby clothes we've saved.
Upcoming Appointments: Thursday I have a repeat sono and my first appointment with my new midwives.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I'm so congested - maybe allergies. Sleep is hard. I feel so greasy. I had some organ-shifting gas the other day. It felt like third tri baby kicks. 😱
Rants/Raves: The nausea has let up some so I may start working out again.
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? Well, now I need some deviled eggs. I love those robin egg malt balls too.

the farm. It’s always amazing. This year she’s making carrot cake just for me
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I have been munching on regular lays potato chips. A woman at work told me she craved french fries when pregnant with her youngest and that it may be a potassium deficiency. I had low iron with my son, so it's possible😂

Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 10/14 - 14 weeks
TTC #2: October 2018, BFP 02/02/19, EDD 10/14/19

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out - getting impatient since so many of our regulars here already know 🙃
Upcoming Appointments: Not for a month
How are you feeling: I still get tired very easily, but I haven’t been sleeping super well either. Cravings are random, but salads always sound good
Rants/Raves:
Rant - I’ve randomly been having chest pain/pressure. I can’t figure out if it’s heartburn or congestion from the cough/mucus I’ve had for a couple of weeks
Rant - My poor FIL is having so many complications from chemo. He’s in the hospital with multiple blood clots now 😔
Rave - Coffee seems to be helping my headaches!
@galentine I’m so sorry you’re feeling like crap, still. Hope you start getting some relief soon!
@greenbean-2 I’m so happy you’re seeing light at the end of the nausea tunnel!!
@kindbytealikat I’m sorry your H didn’t help out on Sunday. Hope you start feeling better. I love Reese’s eggs too!!

How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I woke up with a cold this morning so I feel like crap 😢
Other than that I was feeling pretty good.

(Cravings/Symptoms):
feeling pretty good and enjoying this energy boost while it lasts!
TMI- she let out a giant hit (or in my perspective, threw her whole body) out of protest of DH and I having adult time 😂

@greenbean-2, I agree: the more people we tell, the more real it feels. I'm 100% out now IRL (although I haven't yet posted anything on social media), and it feels way more real now!
@kindbytealikat, I LOLed at the death star meme.
@kindbytealikat jelly beans sound SO good right now!
@melanier26 salads totally always sound good!
@emily1052 no movement feelings here yet, but I've got a hunch they're coming soon.

How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Nausea and chest tenderness is winding down, but digestive issues are rolling up. Almost any meal gives me bloat, gas pains, and other tummy issues.
Rants/Raves: Rave: I'm headed off on vacation in 2 weeks, to visit my oldest friend (since grade school) and cannot wait! Sort of a Rant? He lives in SONOMA California, and I'll be spending a week sipping Pelligrino. Ha!
Questions: None right now
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? I'm a sucker for the mini cadbury egg hard candies - the ones that are sort of like fat M&Ms with a matte shell.

How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Still having some nausea each day and my sense of smell has definitely kicked up a notch.
Rant: I was admitted to the hospital about a week ago. They found a 7cm hematoma, so I’ve been on bedrest for 9 days now. Hoping my appt. tomorrow gives some good news. One doctor said bedrest for 1.5 months? That just seems so crazy to me.
Questions: I’ve been searching the boards about SCH. Anyone else dealing with this?

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out. Would have loved to have been team green since baby came in as a surprise, but SIL is due 3 days before me and if we both have boys then it would be better to know beforehand how to split up the shared baby clothes.
Upcoming Appointments: 4/17 is the NT scan. Just had 6 vials of blood drawn for the NT scan and also my insurance is covering the SMA, CF, and Fragile X carrier screening.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Better. Morning sickness is gone, but like others make a small part of me nervous.
Rants/Raves: Small patch of shingles have blown off our roof and now we have crazy leaking/damage in our laundry room. Roofer comes today and insurance adjuster tomorrow.
Questions:
GTKY: What is your favorite Easter/Spring treat (meal, candy or otherwise)? Cadbury mini eggs.

Questions: so odd question, but any STM or TTM+ know a good way to strengthen your bladder😂😂 I've always kinda had a weaker bladder but since having my DD, it's been worse!
