Questions: how long did your nipt blood work take to come back if you’ve had it done already?

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s). I’m an hgtv Junkie! I love fixer upper.. so sad that new episodes are done. My guilty pleasure is friends.

@nomangos23 GIRL. RUN. That place sounds like a literal hell lol.

@klpv415 that is so serious micromanaging BS. If I have learned anything in my 5 years of being in management it's that people leave jobs a lot because of bad bosses. If you treat people with respect and like an adult, they will usually work harder for you! I'm so sorry you have to deal with that.

    Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 9/12 / 10+5

Baby is the size of a(n): Lego Man!

Upcoming Appointments: 2/26 for another u/s and hopefully the blood work for my Progenity test. I really want to get it over with, but I am also scared to do it because *TW ours came back totally low risk and about a week later we found out we lost him. I can't help but feel like something will be wrong this time. END TW*

How are you feeling?: Always anxious. Always nauseated. Always tired.

    Rants/Raves: Two rants today.

    1. I only puke once a day first thing in the morning (sometimes twice if it's a bad day) and it's so painful that I have permanently broken blood vessels all over my face. So now I just always look like shit. Yay.

    2. My insurance is stupid and almost wouldn't let me refill my progesterone because it was "too soon". Umm well I ran out and need it so that's not too soon to me! It was such a nightmare getting it filled. Had to have my OB submit a new prescription and when that still didn't work, they had to call insurance to get them to approve an exception. Thank you, Wal-Mart pharmacy tech lady for helping me get that done.

My rave: I am seeing a new OB finally! I really liked my old OB, but he decided to retire before I deliver this baby and I noticed that he had started to check out a bit (rushing me at appts, brushing off some non-urgent questions, etc.) so I am making the switch now instead of when he actually retires. I have a feeling I am really going to like the new one.

Questions: When will my 2 yr old learn to cook for himself?

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s). I watch way too much TV. H and I watch Arrow and The Flash together and then I am big into Grey's, A Million Little Things, This is Us, Chicago Fire, The Resident and all the shows on HGTV lol. I am also pretty into true crime so I love the shows where they talk about serial killers and such. I really enjoyed the 20/20 episode with BTK's daughter. That poor woman.

Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: due Sept 6. 11 weeks 4 days

Baby is the size of a(n): a poker chip

Upcoming Appointments: no appointments til  March 6

How are you feeling?: I have a head cold and cant breath out of my nose but at least the nausea feeling is pretty much gone.

Rants/Raves: DH started cleaning out our spare room this past weekend so we can paint and get ready for our daughter to move into that room and the new baby will get her old room. Her current room is right across the hall from ours so I like the idea of having the littlest child in there.

    Questions: nope

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s).

Big brother, Riverdale, dynasty, greys anatomy.

@RedBreast35 and @nomangos23 that’s comforting that you both have already stopped and all is well. Do you mind me asking why you were placed on it and how much you were taking? Did you wean off or just stop taking it?

**TW for loss** I was was put on progesterone (200mg nightly) because my levels were low in both of my pregnancy losses and my cycles were also short. So I’m feeling like it may have really been the reason things are working out this time... but it could all be coincidence too. Definilty worried to go off, but excited at the same time!

Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: EDD Sept 21st

Baby is the size of a(n): Eastern tailed-blue butterfly (love the Ovia app!)

Upcoming Appointments: Not until March 21st!

How are you feeling?: Fat. Nauseous, headaches, tired, but blessed to have a baby

Rants/Raves: Rave - we’re(DH, DD, & DS) headed south on a 2-week2 vacation on Saturday & I can’t wait! No big plans made, just poolside & the simple fact that hubs doesn’t have to work. We might go see the Tigers & Braves play a Spring Training game..and it’ll be my bday while there so I plan on doing some shopping alone haha.
I am nervous about the 2.5hr plane ride...I’ve never thrown up on a plane...I hate airplane bathrooms, so I’m just praying I have a good day Saturday and not one if my crappy days.

Rant - 3rd pregnancy and I’m struggling with my self-esteem so much again. I’m 5’1” & normally 125lbs, but I started this pregnancy at 135 (post-Christmas softness ;)) and I’m gaining so fast. I gained 40 with my daughter 5 years ago, 60lbs with my son 3 years ago, and now I’m worried I’ll gain even more with this one. I know weight isn’t everything, and thankfully I’ve been able to lose it afterward, but it really lowers my confidence.

Questions: Anyone else’s uterus spasm a lot? It really feel like those awesome first flutter kicks that I feel around 16 weeks, but I know it’s just uterus spasms or gas lol.

GTKY: What are your favorite things to watch? I’ve been watching a lot of baking/cooking shows lately & some random romance movies on Netflix when my kids aren’t in the room lol. With my husband, we’ve been watching Designated Survivor (huge 24 fans) & just finished all seasons of Monk (also huge Psych fans!). We also love The Flash & Arrow.

FYI - This is Jessfrezz...my username changed - not sure why, but I originally had it this and the app was acting weird. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@calliah I feel ya, I took my text early and it seems like this first trimester is taking forever!

@ternsetc DH & I have already watched all seasons of Psych 3 times over our 7 years of marriage! 😆

@kmitchy Those hotdogs sound so good! Which is actually surprising to me because every time I prepare a hotdog for my kid’s, I get so nauseated lol.

@blitzybee I was on the crinone gel twice a day until 10 weeks.  My progesterone was just barely low when I had my betas drawn, so my RE put me on it just to be safe.  They didn't tell me to wean, but I kind of did and took a few doses just at night for a few days after they told me I could stop.  I had it and it's expensive AF, so...
I totally get why you're a little scared to stop!  It's so hard not to compare to past pregnancies/losses, but this one is going well for you so far and *everything crossed* keeps going perfectly from here on out!  Is your doctor keeping you on it until 12 weeks?

@cmdesigner it's such a struggle to figure out what I want to eat. Yesterday I had a huge craving for Chipotle and it was the only thing that sounded good, but then I ended up asking a coworker to bring me a burger from Wendy's. I ended up taking bites of both and then not wanting any of it. So annoying.
@zuuls_mom dealing with insurance and prescription refills can be such a nightmare. Glad you got it sorted out! And that's great that you're feeling good about your new doctor.
@sahm89 my general uterus area feels spasmy sometimes too. I'm pretty sure it's gas at this point for me haha.

@RedBreast35 thanks for the info and words of encouragement! I started on it right after I ovulated, and my OB said to stay on until 12/13 weeks. I have to have faith in this pregnancy and my body doing what it needs to do... but so hard sometimes! I will be happy to not have to take it anymore, tho! I am debating if I should ask for 100mg (half of my dose) for a week before stopping it, or if I should just let it be!

    Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 9/18, 10 wks

Baby is the size of a(n): tart kumquat

Upcoming Appointments: Friday (to monitor the “soft tissue” next to squish)

How are you feeling?: Great! But a little tired.

Rants/Raves: We’re off this week so we have been lazy, yet getting a lot done around the house.

    Questions: Nah.

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s). I watch a lot of Shark Tank, HGTV and the Great British Baking Show, lol.

@blitzybee No problem. I was on it for short luteal phase, high prolactin levels and spotting before period. I was on prometrium 200mg 2x a day (morning and night) and did not wean off it. You will be more than fine to stop at 12 weeks. By then the placenta is doing the job for you :)

@septoctkids I mean I am using it at least 1x a day, I'm pretty sure that's way more than the recommended usage. I keep telling myself it's the last time but I just need that peace of mind.

    Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 9/23 9+2?

Baby is the size of a(n): A southern pecan

    Upcoming Appointments: Nada

How are you feeling?: Not great. I've had a killer headache this week that I can't kick. Overall, my nausea has improved and I'm feeling a lot better though.

Rants/Raves: I'm starting to get really concerned about my weight gain. I've already gained 4 lbs. That feels like a lot for only being 9 weeks. I don't want to obsess about something like my weight or sound vain, but I'm definitely concerned. Rave is that this is my last week of work! Then I'll be off for a week.

Questions: If we keep doing the all group check in, I think it would be helpful to also add if you are a FTM or second+. I was reading through all the posts this morning and I think it would help add some context. Just a thought.

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s). We just finished Bodyguard and I loved it. Otherwise my mind is going totally blank.

I'll be back for tags later!

@lillywonderland DUDE! I want to tell everyone. Sadly for me, DH wants to wait to tell his parents until we see them in person which isn't until March 25th!! I don't feel right about telling the rest of his family and my 2nd tier of friends/coworkers until they know. The wait is seriously going to kill me.... I love the Great British Baking Show. Paul Hollywood and his handshakes crack me up.

    Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 9/9  / 11w3d

Baby is the size of a(n): Fig or a lime

Upcoming Appointments: I had one yesterday and we heard the heartbeat! I'm a little bummed that it was just the doppler instead of a sonogram but I guess that's normal. And can't complain too much since it was so good to hear things are moving along okay in there!

How are you feeling?: MUCH more relieved/ relaxed now. I haven't had any m/s since week 7 so naturally I was getting myself all worked up in my head.

Rants/Raves: It's snowing here today so I get to work from home. I'm always able to get so much more done ( compared to being in the office.

Questions: STM/+'s, when did you start to show with your first?

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? House Hunters, Jane the Virgin, and pretty much any show on Bravo

@klpv415  I feel for you on the micromanagement thing. I recently changed departments within my company partly because I couldn't take my old boss anymore (not that I would ever admit that in the office).

@sahm89 I think "feeling fat but blessed" is going to be my new motto. I love it.

@lillywonderland Please send some of your productivity around the house over my way! I've been slacking in that department but I'm just so tired after getting home from work, and honestly just too lazy on the weekends.

@kgg2241 I agree about adding a few more context questions to the big group check-in posts. Also sorry about your headache; hope you feel better soon!

Side note - I'm a little jealous of everyone who's finding out the sex soon! I have another 8 or so weeks to go until we can (hopefully) find out, and that seems like foreverrrr.

Just finally finished reading through all the comments on this. Too many people to tag individually, but I did read everyone one and it's making me realize how close we all are to getting out of the first trimester! It still feels forever away, but I feel like I can see the finish line!

    Est Due Date/ Weeks + September 23, 9 weeks 2 days

Baby is the size of a(n): green olive

Upcoming Appointments: Not until March 15th, but that will be my first ultrasound and my first time hearing the heartbeat, so I'm super excited!

How are you feeling?: I woke up with my daughter's cold, so that's no fun. The musical I'm in opens on Friday and I have the most important part in the orchestra, so I have to be there absolutely no matter what, so I'm taking it super easy today and tomorrow.

Rants/Raves: Rant: I have a cold. Rave: We are going to find out the sex of the baby this weekend! We decided to do the sneak peek test. We are generally pretty patient people so we normally wouldn't mind waiting until the anatomy scan at 20 weeks, but we want to tell our daughter at the 12 week scan and we feel it would be easier for her if she could know the sex right away and feel better connected to the baby. I went over the my MIL's house to do the test. She is a lesbian (and is never around other men really) and does live-in care for an elderly woman so the risk of male DNA being in the house is next to none, so I'm not too worried about the sample being contaminated.

Questions: Is anyone considering stopping taking your prenatals after the first trimester? I absolutely HATE mine. I have the gummies since I have a sensitive stomach, but I hate the taste of them so much. Just thinking about them makes me want to vomit. I hear you can take Flinstones vitamins in the 2nd and 3rd trimester and that works pretty well?

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, documentaries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s). I don't really like TV or movies, but I love playing video games or watching my husband play video games. I'm a huge fan of any Zelda game (Link's Awakening Remastered this year!) and the Fallout series. Also, my husband and I LOVE going to Vegas, so we often watch youtube blogs or documentaries about Vegas. We are currently planning our trip next April for my 30th birthday... 14 months before the trip.

@lillywonderland we've never had cable so not sure how hard it would be to give up - we used to watch some stuff on local TV with an antenna waaaay back, but both of us got so fed up with commercials we haven't bothered to set that up the past three places we've lived. It works well for us and keeps our consumption down, but you could argue we don't know what we're missing :D.
@aliciac2008 after DS was born DH and I started watching each other play video games a lot more in the evenings, instead of watching TV; not really sure why we've picked up that habit, but it's really enjoyable! The stuff I like playing is mostly too slow paced for DH (Divinity Original Sin is probably my favorite, and I liked XCOM 2 so much more than I expected), and the more fast paced stuff ("fast paced" like Horizon Zero Dawn, lol) stresses me out to play but DH likes it so it's fun to watch each other play stuff we wouldn't otherwise see. Do you guys ever play together?
@cammie0526 I started to show around 14 weeks with my first (I thought I was showing sooner, but looking back at photos - no, I really wasn't), and was around 20 weeks before a stranger made a comment to me. This time at 10 weeks I said to DH that I'm getting chubby and he said "you don't look chubby, you look pregnant" and he's right, lol.

@aliciac2008 Sorry for the cold. Re: Vitamins - I would stick with a Flinstone, but add iron and folic acid supplements.

@kgg2241 I'm getting bad headaches too, but mine are every other day. I wouldn't worry too much about the weight gain.. honestly, it's probably mostly water/bloat at this point. With as sick as you've been feeling, are you really eating a ton?

@lillywonderland Keep us updated on Friday! No spotting at all right?

Excited to hear about everyone's progress! It was getting lonely in our group, only a handful of responses each week. It's awesome to hear about what's on everyone's minds.

    Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 10/7, 11w4d
Baby is the size of a(n): lime!
Upcoming Appointments: 2/25 for the 12 week appointment - cant come soon enough, been a month since I've seen this little guy!
How are you feeling?: Pretty good, I think my tiredness is finally ebbing a little bit. That's not to say I still don't sleep 8-9 hours per day, but I don't feel as sleepy during the day and I'm getting back to my old routine of being a bit more of a night owl.
Rants/Raves: Same as @calliah - wishing I had more of a bump. I also have a retroverted uterus and am curious to see how that will impact things. I'm just a bit rounder now, no bump!
    Questions: none
GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s). I don't watch a ton of TV, not that I don't like to, just never seem to find the time. I do love Game of Thrones and Westworld. I also just binged Dark on netflix and it was really really excellent - a more grownup Stranger Things, and all in German. I can't find anyone who's watched it so we can discuss!!

    Second kid: Dec 2021

I am finally bumping from a computer, THANK GOD!

So much to catch up on!

@klpv415 I.despise.micromanagers. That said, i had a freaking terrible experience with someone on my team a few months ago who was openly insubordinate. Honestly, she sucks. Now I am *starting* to understanding why some people micromanage! j/k Vast majority of people really rise to the occasion when you show them trust in the workplace and I love that.

@sahm89 I totally feel you- I am already up 15lbs but I am small and this happens. With my first, I gained 80 and with my second I gained 60 and I always lost it and then some after I stopped bf. @kgg2241 I totally understand where you are coming from but these hormones are powerful! In my experience, things just even out and your body adjusts.

@kmitchy and @lillywonderland I can't give up my diet coke. I have one can a day and it helps to settle my stomach, too. M/s is kicking my butt (I think this is the millionth thread where I am posting about this, sorry!)

@nomangos23 where do you live? I am so sorry if I missed it :) I don't usually freak out about bugs etc. but I would be highly distracted if I worked with you!

@septoctkids my Panaroma came back yesterday! It took exactly a week from the blood draw. That said, I was totally stalking the hell out of the results by calling Natera. I also scheduled a session with a genetic counselor because my oB only said: "oh everything is low risk." NO, I actually want to stats, buddy! So, now I have to wait until my results are released/my meeting with the Natera genetic counselor :/

I know that there are more people I wanted to tag (hi, everyone!) but I lost track of myself and this will be the longest post ever :) All I have to say is I totally relate on 1st tri lasting a million billion years. I look and feel like crap and yet people expect me to show up, work and be a mommy to my 2 babies. I am too nauseous to life.

Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 9/12 (or something), 11w

Baby is the size of a(n): lime! Although I am questioning this fruit stuff- how did I jump from a strawberry to a lime in one week? Also, someone else said poker chip, which is significantly smaller than a lime (at least where I shop? they are organic limes ftr, but still bigger than a poker chip). #deepthoughts

Upcoming Appointments: 3/7 for NT scan and I can't wait. I am doing it at an MFM, so it should be a high quality u/s.

How are you feeling?: I would imagine that this is what Van Halen felt like every morning. Honestly, best description is the hangover that won't quit.

Rants/Raves: Rant- I am a huge fitness person and I am usually pretty fit (when not pregnant). My youngest baby is only 14 months, so I lost all the baby weight prob when he was 8 months old or so...long story short, there's one woman at the gym who would comment "omg, eat sandwich. when's the last time you ate blah blah." Then today (since I've gained 15lbs and I've been mia from the gym), she was looking me up and down and proceeded to text a mutual friend "is R pregnant?" Anyway, my rant is: why do women comment on other women's bodies? What if I wasn't pregnant? What if I just decided to enjoy the holidays? It is not OK to say anything about another woman's body unless it's "you look beautiful." I am not looking forward to more body scrutiny especially because it seems I can never be a size that she "approves" of. Ugh.

Rave: I am really enjoying work. I am on my own for this project and it is such a darn pleasure. Ftr, I've managed a team for years and this is an insanely nice break from having to parent at work.

Questions: can anyone help me make sense of the fruit comparisons? All I keep visualing is a lime in my ute.

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s). OH so many things- recently, dh and have been enjoying this show Alpha House on Prime. It's about a bunch of Republic senators. It's pretty irreverent :) I don't want to get all political but def watch a preview and see if it's up your alley. One more- Seinfeld on Hulu!

@rms924 I loved your novel! The Van Halen comment made me laugh out loud! So true. I've been alcohol-free for 26 months, so why do I have a three month long hangover!?!?! :)

@rms924 - don't apologize! all good stuff. I think the fruit stuff is also confusing, it's so relative to what you are used to seeing! I also just made the jump from strawberry to lime, and I guess was imagining a very large strawberry and a small lime, so they didn't seem too far apart!

@rms924 I think the fruit/veg comparisons also tend to flip-flop from one week to the next in estimating length versus 'girth', if you will.  Like, you might have a canteloupe one week (later on, obviously) and the next, a stalk of celery.  WTF?? But I think the celery week is showing estimated length and not 'round-ness'.

Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 9 weeks

Baby is the size of a(n): a 9 week baby. Sorry, don't have my phone near me.

Upcoming Appointments: We had an unexpected appointment a couple days ago with ultrasound but everything ended up being fine. Despite feeling like poop the whole time, seeing baby definitely made it real. Although the dating the report gave was kind of confusing. It said baby was measuring 9 weeks but the sac was measuring 11+2, which is when the next appointment is.

How are you feeling?: Like poop. Nauseous all the time.

Rants/Raves: DS has decided he is big enough to go down stairs by himself. Which would be no problem if our stairs were normal, but they are quite steep. My heart has had quite the workout lately.

    Questions:

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s). I like Doctor Who a lot.

@klvp415 My work tried to do that once and everyone revolted. It didn't last long.
@kayjay2004 Last time I saw both a PA and OB and we loved both. About the halfway mark they started to get a little snooty about continuing to see the PA since they can't deliver, but come 3rd trimester, that was ok because that's when we really started to make decisions about the labor.

    Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: Sept 17 / 10+2

Baby is the size of a(n): petit four

Upcoming Appointments: first appointment is tomorrow! Whoop!

How are you feeling?: Still tired, and my nausea seems to have moved from evening to morning, so at least I can eat dinner now!

Rants/Raves: I’m so excited that my first appointment is almost here! It will be so nice to confirm that things are okay in there.

Questions: How are other STM+ involving their older kids (DS is 4.5) in making plans for the new baby?

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch?
We only have Netflix and I’m having a hard time finding a new show to watch. The last show I really liked was Ozark.

Shout out to @lillywonderland for all those tags!!  ;)
LOL @rms924 it's so much easier to write a novel on a computer instead of your phone!  I found out from a coworker that people were talking about the contents of my uterus in the mail room and I feel the same way as you- whyyy can't women just mind their own damn business about other women's bodies?  I know that when it finally gets too obvious to deny, those same women are going to be all "I knew it!!"  Which reminds me, I need to start thinking of a witty comeback for when they say that...

Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days:  Erm... 9/9, so 11+3?

Baby is the size of a(n): lime

Upcoming Appointments: not for a month!  But I had one Tuesday and all is well  :)

How are you feeling?: Finally getting better.  Although I did pick up a nasty cough thing over the weekend, but that feels like it's on its way out too.

Rants/Raves: Rave has to be that the MS is finally letting up and I'm starting to feel like a human again.  Rant at myself because I've totally been slacking at work due to feeling like garbage, and now that I'm feeling better, I have so.much.work to get caught up on.

    Questions: Nah...

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s).  Really the only thing I've watched recently is Outlander.  But now it's over for the season  :'(  I'll watch The Handmaid's Tale when it comes back on... These days I'd rather sleep than watch tv, I guess.

@kgg2241 You don’t sound vain at all regarding worrying about your weight. Everything during PG is different for other people, so you could be one who just gains a little bit early. Also, you could just be weighing yourself at a bad time, or maybe the scale is off. My weight has been consistent for the last 8 yrs (minus the first PG with DS 😜) and depending on what day, time of day and what I eat in that day it would still vary by like 5 lbs.

@cammie0526 I started showing to the world around 20 wks, but to myself around 13ish wks.

@aliciac2008 I hope you feel better soon! Colds are no bueno when KU!

@themadcamel Ahhhh. The excitement from seeing yountell them in person will be worth the wait! I hope the time flies by for you!! Also, yay to the GBBS! I love how all the ladies swoon over Paul, so cute!

@nomangos23 No spotting thankfully. I am sure it’s fine, it’s just been a nice little nerve wracking two weeks, lol!

@rms924 Basically what @RedBreast35 said, and I’ll add this: f*ck that lady. She sounds extremely jealous and so damn catty, and you do you!! Also, good comebacks for pregnancy can be found here: https://pregnantchicken.com/clever-pregnancy-comebacks/. ENJOY!!! 😎

@bubsalicious  ah, sounds like so much fun with your steep stairs and DS! Good luck with that! I hope he’s careful!

@house_of_boys DS is too young to “get” it just yet (almost 2). We’ll prolly get him a book about babies and being a big bro. For the older kids our hospital does a sibling class - check yours out to see if they do that.

@RedBreast35 Ugh, it was exhausting. So many people! And I do it all on mobile. 😳😬Anywho glad your appt went well this week!!

    Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 9/9   11 weeks 3 days

Baby is the size of a(n): lime

Upcoming Appointments: Had one yesterday, heard the heartbeat. All seems well!

How are you feeling?: The usual-nausea on and off, exhaustion. I'm still breaking out which is crazy because I've never had acne, but I cant seem to get it under control now.

Rants/Raves: I hate waiting 4 weeks in between appointments!

Questions: Don't think I have any

GTKY: What is your favorite things to watch? Whether a TV show, docuseries, movie, genre, whatever you watch, share your favorite(s). I probably watch too much tv (when I can) - love the Chicago series, Greys, all the Bravo trash tv lol (my guilty pleasure), really like reality tv

@UFJen OMG - SAME with the skin problems. I historically have great skin... I don't wash my face minus when it coincidentally gets wet in the shower, I rarely take my makeup off (I know, I know), and I NEVER EVER break out.  Except when I'm pregnant.  I get all teenage boy from the day I POAS to the day I deliver.  IT IS THE WORST.  Have you tried Cetaphil?  With my first pregnancy I had great luck using Proactiv, but I was also young and dumb and now don't feel as good about using that stuff during pregnancy.  Also... hi to my fellow trash TV lover... it seems we watch all the same things ;)

@bubsalicious how old is DS?  My just-turned-2YO is also an avid stair walker without assistance and has definitely taken many a tumble down the last few steps in recent weeks.  Whoops.

@houseofboys I think 4.5 is a great age to involve older sibs with the pregnancy (and obviously the baby!).  Mine were about the same age last go-around.  They came along to a couple of appointments and I think one U/S and loved hearing the heartbeat and seeing baby on the screen.  I let them help with picking nursery decor and baby items to feel involved, and it helped with after baby was born as they would get SUPER enthused to help dress baby in 'their outfit!' or wrap them up in 'their blanket!' or to put them down for bed and turn on 'their nightlight!'.  There are also lots of great books about becoming a big brother/sister - and they're totally capable of changing diapers on a big stuffed animal to practice!

@house_of_boys DS is 3.5 and he keeps wanting to sort baby clothes and toys of his. I also got an adult picture book of the stages of baby development. He thought it was hilarious when it looked like a frog.

You guys. It happened. I threw up in my classroom today. I was in the middle of teaching and had to run to the trash bin. So embarrassing!!!!

@rms924 +1 for the Van Halen simile. I either feel hungover, or like I've been drinking on a boat.
@bubsalicious oh no! GL keeping YS off of those stairs. I was just looking around my condo last night thinking about what a fucking deathtrap everything is. I'm going to be one anxious mama.
@house_of_boys hope all goes well at your appt tomorrow. How exciting! Also, if you liked Ozark, check out Bloodline. It's also on Netflix.
@RedBreast35 glad you're starting to feel better!
@UFJen the four week wait between appts is so tough!

@themadcamel Oh no! At least you got that out of the way now so if it happens again (hopefully not) it'll be old hat!

@RedBreast35 If anyone says "I knew it!" to me, my bitchy self might actually respond: "No way, really? I was kind of suspecting you might be pregnant too!"  >:)

@RedBreast35 hope you can catch up on work quickly! I feel you on this. It's been so hard to stay on top of things.

@lillywonderland DANG GIRL! I would have given up after the first 3-4 tags if I had to do it all on mobile. You the real MVP.

@themadcamel I'm so sorry you got sick in class! But I have to say that gif is cracking me up! H and I just watched a bunch of Lonely Island videos the other night for the 1000th time lol.
