@prpl11butterfly, To All The Boys I've Loved Before is my favorite on Netflix. Even though you've already seen it, I recommend that one again! 😂 I did not care for The Kissing Booth (maybe because I saw TATBILB first and it was way better!), but I did like When We First Met and Set It Up.

Have you guys seen the Israeli artist, Yehuda Devir, that illustrates his everyday life with his wife?

They just announced they're expecting, but his comics about getting KU are so hilarious and so relatable.

@marebear15 you’re my soul sister. I’ve been a been having the same thoughts and have been a little bitter at some of the recent announcements in the grad thread. I remember when I first joined and was stressed about what the line was for when I was allowed to post there. I’m not even entirely sure I’ve crossed it yet!

  • @marebear15 I was also a little shocked she posted in the weekly grad thread, but didn't think much of it. I didn't feel she meant any disrespect by it. I do have to give her credit for being very involved during her (short) time here, so I didn't view her as a drive-by as much as some of the other grads who barely posted anything beyond their intro before moving on to their BMBs. And @prpl11butterfly is right, she was tagged in the grad check-in which doesn't help.

@ruby696 I have fully accepted that I'm bitter, which is probably why some things irk me so much on here. Not to mention I've never really been one to break the rules and it gives me anxiety lol.

But yes to @kiki047 's point, she was very involved while here. It wasn't like I didn't recognize her when she posted and she seems like a funny, nice person! And I don't think she meant any harm by it at all-  I was just surprised after such short involvement here.

  • Yeah, @kiki047 it's a hard line to walk because nobody really knows how long they'll be here and we don't want that to be a barrier to meaningful participation either (as in, we only truly "accept" women who have been at it a while). Some just get lucky.

  • @b_1029 I should clarify too, I agree that maybe she should've exercised some discretion there and just moved on but I wasn't about to make a stink about it. Not this time.

  • @kimmer1412 I’m totally down for the GTKY wedding dress thread! A lot can be said about a person’s choice in wedding dress...
  • I have to agree I was a little surprised to see it too. (Although I tend to hang out in the if thread for the most part these days so thought it was just me.) But like @marebear15 said, the 1/1 or 2/2 is put there so that it gives a person more of an opportunity to cross paths with majority of the board members at one point or another. However the lovetits will speak for themselves.

  • Oh dear, I just went into the rabbit hole (well half of it anyway, couldn't finish) of the "baby shower book wording" thread on the Baby Shower board that was apparently started back in 2009 and man do people have opinions on the whole book instead of a card idea! Thread would go dead for a while, then a few months later somebody would post their opinion and then the person after that would be like "why won't people just let this thread die??"

I think I surpassed my salt intake for the day just reading 2 pages of that

@inthewoods23 I gotta go find that thread. I also have opinions about the book as a card trend. Maybe I'll finally feel validated haha.

ETA: I didn't make it all the way through, but wow, that was intense. I don't have that salty of opinions. Nice distraction though!
