Symptoms Month of December

Re: Symptoms Month of December

  • @cmessamore glad those are helping! Last pregnancy I loved reed’s ginger chews - the town I lived in didn’t sell much specifically for pregnancy. I’ve got the ginger ale in the house now but with limited success keeping stuff down. I will say, actual spicy ginger is way more effective than Canada Dry!

ladies, highly recommend if you can’t find pregnancy specific stuff:

  • @cmessamore oooohhh, I'm intrigued. I have never heard of these candies before. I saw some Pink Stork tea at Target and almost bought it, but it was pricey so I decided against it. Might look into these candies, though!

  • Oh LAWD the insomnia! I did not experience this when I was pregnant with Pickle. Me no likey.
  • Breakouts :/ I've always had pretty clear skin, but over the weekend my chin and cheeks started breaking out like crazy. Also dry mouth.
  • Due date 8/9 according to the app. I haven't gone to the doctor yet, first apt. Is January 7th (so excited)

I'm in week 6 day 4. I'm super tired like all the time, my lower back hurts, I'm very gassy/bloated and just this week I started getting diarrhea (I know TMI). I haven't had any morning sickness yet just nauseous.

This is my first pregnancy. I'm super excited for this journey!

@oklahomak sounds like a girl to me! Have you checked the Chinese birth chart?
  • Due 8/21!

Symptoms so far - Tired AF, bloated, cramps that come and go, peeing more, hungry as hell, a few headaches here and there (probably from the caffeine withdrawal)
  • @ElcaB Ha, funny you say that! Chinese calendar says girl (age 26, December was month of conception), so does the ring test (swings in circles).
  • Constantly getting up at night to pee. The mild AF type of cramps have gone away. So fatigue, peeing at night, and craving sweets are the only things right now.

  • @likeuimagined I’m thirsty too!!! All time time!!! I don’t remember this the first time around 🙃
  • With my first (girl) I only have nausea at night and was tired and ended up being aminic. Now this pregnancy I was the same exact way till yesterday now I feel like this baby doesn’t like anything I eat my boobs are sore and I have terrible dry mouth at night .And nauseous in the morning till I eat but then after I eat I feel nauseous again about an hour after but it kinda fades in the afternoon
  • I've converted from being hungry all the damn time to mostly queasy or just not hungry at all. When I do feel hunger, it seems like I have the smallest window of time before the hunger turns to nausea. Ginger is helping, but I am so over the first trimester....and I still have 6 weeks to go 😫😫😫
  • @likeuimagined I’m thirsty too!!! All time time!!! I don’t remember this the first time around 🙃
Add me to the thirsty club!
  • @ElcaB oh gurl my sleep has been for shit. I am so, so, SO TIRED and then once I hit the pillow my brain is like OH HI LET'S WORRY ABOUT EVERYTHING RIGHTNOWK?

@oklahomak I broke out SO BAD in the 1st trim. with my daughter. Witch hazel toner was a godsend and saved my skin!

I'm now 6w1d and my nausea's getting worse. I'm trying to ride it out without Diclegis (I took it last time w/ my son), but if this keeps progressing I think I'm gonna have to get some. My fatigue is off-the-chart ridic. I wake up exhausted. Like, bone-deep exhaustion. I'm sure it's part pregnancy and part the fact that I can't eat anything the first half of the day without feeling like a stupid garbage can. I cried watching an SNL parody video and snap at everything. So I am basically the most fun human to be around, ever, right now.

  • Hahaha! I’m glad I’m not the only one! I do this at least ten times a day! It’s funny how crazy pregnancy can make us! 😂😂😂
  • @runningisrad doing a lot of crying and snapping over here too. I shut my door to my office today as to attempt to avoid as many humans as possible.

Due Aug 22. Biggest symptom is BOOOBS
On fire, so sore, can't stand bras! Also mild cramping now and then, very thirsty, and not sleeping soundly.
  • @salfancy the bloating and poop cramps are THE WORST! I’m due 8/7 and the gas symptom is the most annoying symptom I have
  • Tonight I sneezed two times and got some sharp pain in my ute for a second. Is that normal? I read online that it could be round ligament pain but can that happen at 5-6 weeks??

  • Exhaustion is hitting me. I am currently laying in bed sooooo tired and sleepy. But I have an exam tonight so I should be studying.

    *Live, Love, Laugh, Learn*

  • @suzycupcake Yep, that can happen even early. It's about the uterus expanding and putting pressure on new areas.
Rainbow baby Dean is due 2/17/17!
  • 6 weeks tomorrow - but so bloated I legit look 16 weeks. Anyone else? This is my 2nd and if this bloating doesn’t calm down I’m not going to be able to hide it 😂
  • @suzycupcake That actually happens to me all the time. If I'm laying down and I feel I have to sneeze, I have to sit up real quick because I know it'll be painful if I don't. I guess maybe that's not normal?!

My bloat has gotten better but now more nausea is setting in for me in its place. I starting eating a meatball last night and literally had to spit it out because I thought if I chewed or ate anymore I would throw up. Blah.

  • @suzycupcake I think so. I'm feeling the same kind of pain when I sneeze or get out of my vehicle too fast.
  • EDD 8/17

5+5 I think. This is my first and I don’t know what to think! Last month was a chemical pregnancy and so not having typical symptoms is making me nervous.

Although I think these are symptoms?! I am breaking out like a teenager (although I stopped using proactive), so not sure if it’s that. Gassy and constipated (ugh I know this is tmi but I already suffer from IBS and prenatals are not helping). Dreams! Weird ones that make no sense. And my sense of smell is so acute now. Ive always been sensitive to smell but my DH washed his hands with scented soap yesterday and I smelled it like I had my nose in the bottle. Some random cramping. No nausea or food issues yet. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
  • @khusro this is my first too, and I'm no expert, but all those symptoms sound normal. The nausea/puking didn't seriously hit for me until last week (I'm 7+3).
  • EDD 08/28 and holy crap do my boobs hurt! I hugged MH and jumped back because it hurt.  I've also had some slight cramping that comes and goes and I was wondering if that was normal?

  • @celticknotfire totally normal. I believe that cramping is caused by the uterus expanding. As long as it’s mild and not accompanied by blood, you should be fine. :)
  • Does anyone else get crampy when they have to poop? Sometimes I feel a crampy feeling and I'm like OH NO and I either pass gas or realize I have to poop. Once I do the cramps go away. WTF?

  • @runningisrad YES!!! I'm convinced Kai implanted at the back of my ute and that's why
  • @runningisrad Yes, and I was really upset the other night worrying about cramping and then I went to the bathroom & they stopped. So, not a fan of that particular symptom.
Rainbow baby Dean is due 2/17/17!
  • 6 weeks today and spent the morning dry heaving into my trash can. Its like pregnancy clock work for me.
  • Well. I think my morning sickness is here. I was in the middle of eating bagels and all of a sudden was hit with super nausea and also felt so dizzy. Yay, new symptoms.

    *Live, Love, Laugh, Learn*

  • My nausea is hella bad now. I am struggling with eating properly because I feel like I'm constantly nauseous and everything I eat makes me nauseous. My CNM said not to worry but I feel like I'm constantly losing weight....I eat at least something every few hours but it's small like toast with PB, protein bars, belvita biscuits, cheese and crackers....hoping it's all good just makes me nervous
  • EDD: 8/5.

7 weeks + 5 days. Nausea and vomiting hit last week. It’s been especially rough last night and today. I haven’t been able to keep anything down 😔 other than that my boobs are still super sore, low back pain and am so thirsty.

Is anyone else losing hair?! I swear it seems like I’m shedding more than normal lately too.

    EDD: 8/23

Symptoms: slightly sore boobs (but that’s probably from the progesterone injections) horrible insomnia, bloated, cramping a few times a day, and spotting (not thinking this is a good symptom)

@suzycupcake I get that pain too if I sneeze or when I stretch my body (I never realized how often I do that until now)
  • EDD 8/5, I get exhausted in the early evenings, and am having crazy dreams all the time. Last night, I had a weirdly realistic dream about an ex-boyfriend. Awkward.

@suzycupcake I had the same thing. It’s super painful for like 5-8 seconds after sneezing.

I started spotting when I wiped today (so that’s got me worried). The fatigue is real. I’m hungry but can’t seem to eat cause I get full really quickly. Sometimes queasiness but no real nausea. Boobs are sore especially when my 19 month old thinks it’s okay to run into them or dig her elbows into me 🙄.
