Starting this off and pretty sure it’s an FFMC, but my post-it list is already getting a little crowded. We’re only a month in, not sure I’ll make it on this board.

I survived my in-laws for a long weekend!!!  Now that I'm a mom, my MIL and I get along much better but my FIL is just a long story.   We went to a really fun farm that had so many activities for kids to do and DS was just old enough, 2, to do most.

@srscott3 Yea I'm tired and that's going completely over my head right now haha.

I can't sleep well because I can't get comfortable. So now I'm just even more tired all the time.  We close on our new house tomorrow and move on Halloween.

@tuxielove93 My two-year-old's stomach hits make me nervous too!  So he doesn't hit but is my snuggle bug who cannot stop moving, so I get a lot of knees and elbows when he repositions himself.  Not really how to correct this, I'm just trying to protect and move him when he needs to reposition. 

@sparklingdiamond Good luck with the Halloween move!

I am ready for Halloween to be over. I am tired of binging on candy. Its like I cannot stop... Walk by the candy bowl, Ohh I definitely need that bite size snickers. There so small I could go for 2.

@klmcguire SAME. My boss has a bowl of candy and I can't stop eating it. The sweetness makes me sick to my stomach, but I keep eating it! What is wrong with me?!

@eleven_ Yes, exactly. Its like I feel like crap from all the sugar, but for the life of me I can't stop myself. NO CONTROL.

I've had a candy problem lately too. I was eating m&ms at 9 am yesterday. Why???

I have done maybe 20 minutes or work today. Otherwise I've been on the bump or adding random things to my online shopping carts. I add stuff and then hardly ever buy it but it helps with my 'I want to shop' urges sometimes.

@runyogamom I do the same thing with shopping online all the time! I'll add all the things I like and then look at the total and be like "300 dollars? Nevermind!" Close tab.

I have to eat the candy or my two year old would eat it from all the events we take him to.  Eating candy = I'm a good mom    . But, yes the Halloween candy everywhere is a problem for me too. All this talk of that is making me want to find a candy dish, ah.

Hey all!  I might be scarce this week.  Big project at work, plus my husband's grandmother passed away, so we'll be heading down to RI later on this week for the services.  But just wanted to drop in and say hi!!!!

@meatballs37 @prpl11butterfly Thanks, ladies.  She was definitely my favorite in-law.  She was so much fun, and we're going to miss her a lot.  She was definitely ready, though.  She lost her husband 5ish years ago and was always talking about how she wanted to go be with him again.

This weekend was a doozy, long story short my two year old started acting completely off on Saturday. We just thought she was being cranky, but after some gross stuff that I won’t go into detail about happened, we had to head into urgent care. They tested her and came back to us and told us we needed to be transferred to ER because they thought she had E. coli. It was a super long night. Luckily, she didn’t test positive for that but did for another bacterial infection, that does go away on its own. Today she’s finally starting to feel better. It’s such a terrible feeling to feel helpless when something is wrong with your baby 😢. 


@klmcguire lol yessss like I don’t ever eat an entire candy bar but oh okay two fun size bars sure no problem 😂

@whitney812 Yikes!  I'm sorry you had such a scare, but glad it's not as serious as they thought it might be, and glad she's starting to feel better!

@whitney812 glad your little one didn't end up having E. coli and whatever it was is starting to clear up. I can imagine that was a scary situation for you guys this weekend!

@shamrocandroll I am so so very sorry for yours and DH’s loss ❤️ My grandpa passed about 8 years ago and I know my grandma can’t wait to see him again. I hope knowing they’re together can bring you guys some peace.

@prpl11butterfly 😂 on magical days where my daughter actually naps, I take full advantage and nap too. It’s amazing 🙌🏻

Oh if only If I didn't work full time.... I go home on lunch every day and DH said I should nap and bring lunch back with me. I know this would be a bad idea. I'm not a 30/40min nap type of girl. I'm going a full 1.5 to 2 hrs, minimum. I'll have to just stick to falling asleep on the couch with DS while he plays on my tablet after dinner 🤷‍♀️

@srscott3 I'm jealous of your nap. Also, I've been meaning to tell you how much I admire the volunteer work you do.

I can’t nap under pressure. That’s half my problem. The only time I can seem to nap is when DH is home and I know I don’t have to be on a set time before DD wakes up. 

Anyone elses DH able to fall asleep anywhere anytime? I wish I could nap like him.

@meatballs37 DH is like that! He use to work overnights and on his weekends off, sometimes we would go have dinner with my parents. He would fall asleep sitting on the couch mid conversation.

Oh @prpl11butterfly I feel you. On days when DD takes a short nap, I wake up so disoriented and groggy. 

@ruby696 Thank you, that’s so sweet ❤️ I had a very compassionate advocate who held my hand during the entire process and exam, and followed up with me for months (with my permission). She changed my life for the better.

sorry you have to deal with it too. I’m just blocking toddler body parts all day long and for every one I block, two more come at me 🤣 Sigh. I really hope he figures it out as I get an actual bump.
