It was a coworkers last day and a few of the girls decided to wrap her cubicle and fill it with balloons. She was popping balloons most of the morning lol.
When I was in my last year of school we put the head mistress’ spare knickers from her office up the flag pole...

De-lurking to share my story because it's a doozy... My friend and I were hanging out in her college dorm room when we decided to get a snack downstairs. As we were walking out, she asked me if we should lock the door, and I said, "Nah. We're only gonna be gone a minute, so it's not like anyone's gonna steal anything!" We came back and my friend's couch was gone. We stared at the empty spot on the floor like idiots. "There was a couch here, right?" "Weren't we just sitting on it...?" We knocked on every door asking if anyone had "seen a couch," at one point asking someone if we could look around his room to make sure it wasn't there. I'm pretty sure everyone we talked to thought we were on drugs. Later that night, my friend got a Facebook friend request from her couch. Turns out our friends who lived across the hall heard my big mouth suggest "no one was gonna steal anything," so once we were out of sight, they snuck into my friend's room, carried her couch down the other stairwell, loaded it into the one girl's pickup truck, and drove 40 miles to my friend's house to take a "ransom photo" of it sitting in her driveway. They returned the couch the next day, but not before they took more photos of it "watching the sunset" over the lake, sitting in a park gazebo, and at the front door of a furniture shop. My friend fortunately did not blame me for the "sofa heist," but needless to say I was mortified for technically starting it all. And no, I still haven't learned to keep my mouth shut.
Oh! I just thought of another one: Freshman year of high school, the senior prank was so gruesome that the seniors got in serious trouble. (All I heard was that they strung roadkill onto the football goal posts, but there might have been more.) Because of this, the "senior pranks" for my sophomore and junior years were really lame, like spray painting a smiley face in the parking lot or writing "SENIORS" on the cafeteria window in paint. When it came to my senior year, our senior class president told our class to wear black on our last day of school for the assembly. We tried to ask her why--we'd waited all this time to wear our real color, red--but she didn't give any details. The night before our last day, she and all of her friends--some of the smartest and most popular girls in school--snuck onto the high school grounds clad in all black and threw bras in every tree, then hung up a banner thanking our high school for "their support." All the teachers the next day were pleasantly surprised--my English teacher said it was "the best prank you can have without being destructive." And since most of the seniors were wearing black, it was impossible to tell which ones were the ones who threw the prank. (Well, sort of. Our senior class VP gave our principal a signed bra from all of the pranksters in the middle of the assembly, and when everyone started chanting for him to "Put it on!", he grabbed the mic and said, "Some other time," and moved on.) Clearly I know quite a few prankster masterminds
@hestia14 That's a cute class prank! Our class put mushed up Snickers in the pool and maintenance assumed someone took a grumpy in it so they ended up draining the entire pool and everything!
When I was 10-11 I cling-wrapped the toilet before my brother got home. I feel bad for my Mom now (who cleaned the mess), but man, it was funny at the time. Hearing him screaming as he kept peeing and it was splashing back on him. Sweet revenge...

My senior class didn't really pull a prank, they just did a random "everyone skip school today" near the end of the school year. The vice principal got us back for it, though...she put a sign over the senior locker room saying that, because of the disrespect shown by the senior class, prom would be cancelled. Of course there were melt-downs galore. Sister (I went to a Catholic high school) was actually pranking the class in retaliation. Nuns have a sense of humor, too!
We had 'drunk grad' which is always the 2nd wednesday of May. Well the rule is, if you don't show up to school the next day, you're suspended for the rest of the week and it could screw with your ability to graduate. So everyone comes to school the next wednesday so so sick. the grads had their normal meeting that afternoon and I barely remember it (I drank vodka, fireball, Malibu and a splash of juice in a big jug all night - I was such a bad ass). We are all sitting there barely alive and the chemistry teacher comes in and within minutes, has mixed this concoction that started smoking and smelled like rotten eggs. Everyone starts gagging, laughing and crying.
