    :D Love the meme! :p

    Symptoms:
    1. Headaches, headaches, and more headaches.
    2. Nighttime nausea after no nausea for 2 weeks. Sucks.
    3. More energy, thank heavens! But it’s only enough to not need a nap all the time, it isn’t enough to get off the couch when I’m not at work.
    4. Pregnancy, man...it ain’t easy!
  • Exhaustion and food cravings!!!
  • Nausea and vomiting still. Thursday, couldn't keep a single thing down.
    Exhaustion.
    Still have coffee aversion  :(
    Waking up throughout the night.

  • Headaches club here. And so emotional/irritable/sad! RLP, heartburn, indigestion. YIs like crazy and also my sciatic nerve is killing me. Also apparently whiney lol. I’m just not a happy camper lately.
  • I'm finally getting free of my headaches! Had daily headaches (and at night, literally constant) for the entire first trimester. Getting better this past week or so.
Exhaustion is lingering, but not even close to how it was.
Constipation. And vaginal spotting with BMs when its really bad.
I think I'm emotional. I almost cried last night when I thought about what I was grateful for (I'm practicing doing that more often...)
Vaginal soreness and ?pressure, gets worse throughout the day
RLP, but its not bad, just there
    Bleeding gums, nosebleeds

Definitely a suppressed immune system. 2 weeks ago, caught a 48-hour cold, recovered, got hit with sinus and ear congestion. Still recovering from the ear congestion.
Hungry! I was extra hungry, lost my appetite from the cold, but now my appetite seems to be coming back again.
My baby bump has officially reached a point where I can't hide it anymore (except maybe under a large sweatshirt) and it's looking like more than just a large lunch.
Sensitive gums. I had a routine dentist appointment last Friday and hoo boy, that was a bit rough.

ETA: I've also been feeling quite a bit of RLP, which is extra great when I have coughing fits. :s
  • My crotch bones hurt. & I almost passed out at a craft fair with my husband today. Had to sit down in the middle of a crowd and put my head between my knees while MH ran to get water & a random stranger stayed with me. Awk. I just got really lightheaded and saw spots & then I couldn't stand up anymore.

  • @flyingmombula ug, that is rough. I have had that happen a few times in my life and I know that it is no fun. I got pretty close waiting in (a ridiculous) line today after skipping breakfast and walking around a farmers market all morning, but luckily right before I gave up it was my turn and then I could sit down quickly.

  • @mamakate1616 glad you were able to sit down before it got bad. Yeah, it happened to me a couple times last pregnancy but not this early I think? It might be related to low iron (I don't eat meat). I just have to remember to take my prenatal in the morning and to have a good breakfast, which is hard for me bc I like to just have coffee for breakfast while not pregnant.

  • Soooo emotional. I almost cried in Lowe’s last night because dh asked me to pick out a chair. Again when my burrito at the Mexican place came with the icky sauce. Cried 3 times today because I was tired and frustrated (washed bedding and the load kept getting unbalanced).

So sorry for everyone whose feeling sick yet and dizzy!

  • @flyingmombula That is exactly what happens to me when my blood pressure drops. Usually happens to me when I am dehydrated and have been standing for a long time.
  • I have realized this weekend that I’m officially so big there is no more hiding this baby bump. I haven’t told my students at school so I’m interested to see how this week goes. I teach special education so I’m in and out of a lot of classrooms and work primarily with 8 students (getting 2 news ones soon though)! Any advice from other teachers out there?
  • Still tired 24/7
nausea in the morning if I don't eat
    grumpy if I don't eat
sometimes I get itchy here and there
    gigantic boobs
    headaches now and then
  • @purpleteacher82 I can relate to the meme so much haha.

So first trimester was pretty much what I expected. I was exhausted and nauseous and grumpy. Second tri has surprised me though! Round ligament pain, sciatic pain, occasionally still exhausted, and the most annoying one of all... Crazy bloating and gas. Was not expecting it to be this severe, and it definitely does not have me feeling ~*glowy*~ lol
  • @ashley14598 I haven’t told mine yet either. I have my 16 week appt. tomorrow so I may tell them after that. I don’t think my bump is very noticeable yet so I’m getting away with it. Maybe just wait until they ask you? If one of my students asked I would probably just tell them.
  • I'm still EXHAUSTED but also have off and on insomnia. I am also getting more and more emotional, having terrible discharge, and bad night sweats. If I could stay awake, I'd feel pretty good!
  • I've had some pretty horrible headaches.  One was so bad I was in tears.
I'm still up a lot at night. There is this magic time of the night that I just can't seem to sleep through. I just get super uncomfortable and have to get up and walk around.
I was battling acne pretty bad for a week or two but thankfully that's mostly under control now. I felt like I was back in puberty. Ugh!
Also still pretty tired. I was very disappointed to find out that I really didn't get much more energy after moving in to the second trimester.
Thankfully though, the food aversion seem to have left the building. I got to enjoy some pesto pasta the other night and I was so happy!
  • My newest symptom is an achey crampy stomach. It’s been five days of feeling weird. The round ligament pain upon standing is familiar, but the constant tight and crampy feeling throughout my tummy area is new as of last week. It can go back to wherever it came from. And it should take the headaches with it, lol.
  • I'm so sorry to hear about all the folks dealing with headaches! I hope those start to go away for you all really soon!
  • Add me to the headache club - I'm suffering through one right now. I don't remember this from my first pregnancy. So annoying!
  • @mayoduck that’s probably exactly what happened. It was almost 90 degrees and I was in a crowded craft tent.

  • Anyone else have really dry eyes? That was a new one for me this pregnancy. If you do be really careful taking out your contacts. Last night I took mine out and took off the top layer of eye cells with my right one (that’s what the ophthalmologist thinks happened anyway). Hurt SO bad and the only thing doctor could give me was artificial tears. I think I need to drink more water.

  • @flyingmombula okay so my eye issues are related to pregnancy?!?!!!!! For the past week I have had very red, dry eyes! I don’t wear contacts and I had no idea this was related to pregnancy! I am constantly rubbing my eyes I even stopped wearing mascara altogether because I thought it was somehow related to that! I even bought brand new mascara and have been scared to wear it!
  • I’ve had constant wet diarrhea all week long. I don’t know if I should be concerned or not. No stomach pain or anything. But for the past 2 weeks I have been eating basically nothing but salads...I’ve been craving them like crazy! But even like when I fart it’s kind of wet...I know I’m sorry TMI but now I’m starting to get worried because it’s not subsiding. Anyone have any issues similar to this?
  • @cdub4292 I would call your doc. It’s probably nothing, but a week of diarrhea can make you dehydrated enough to be a problem.

My new symptom is sore breasts. They hurt so bad all of a sudden. Between my toddler’s elbows and my husband’s grabby hands I am wincing they are so sensitive.

Oh, and my itching pregnancy belly has started. I am slathering on the Palmer’s morning and night.
  • Sore boobs and my toddler is constantly grabbing at me since I weaned him and climbs all over me, so they're getting beaten up. I'm exhausted but struggling with insomnia, and getting winded more easily lately, especially when carrying around the toddler. The nausea is gradually subsiding, thankfully.
  • @flyingmombula ouch! that sounds awful. i hope it gets better quickly!!!
  • @flyingmombula I had a similar fainting thing happen a few weeks ago. I was at a hot, crowded event and I was probably a little dehydrated and hungry and I started losing my vision and hearing. I knew I was going to go down so I walked off to the side and sat down and ended up fainting for a second when I was basically on the floor anyway. I was probably the only sober one there but I'm sure everyone thought I was wasted.

@cdub4292 I had nasty diarrhea a few weeks ago that lasted about a week. I would normally never go to the doctor for diarrhea unless I had other symptoms, but I was concerned that it was lasting so long. The doctor basically told me that if I have no fever, no bloody stool, and no signs of dehydration then me and the baby should be fine. I made sure to drink lots of water and electrolytes and it ended up clearing up on its own. With that being said, I did feel much better after getting confirmation from my doctor that everything was OK.
  • My nipples are KILLING me.  Every day it feels like somebody is trying to pierce them with a hot skewer.  It's pain unlike anything I've ever felt.

And add me to the numb hands/feet club. I can't feel my right hand most days, especially after being at work all day.
  • Heartburn city over here! I even had it yesterday after waking up from a nap!
And the horribly sore nipples have never gone away for me either, I've had them this whole pregnancy.
I know what those near-fainting spells feel like, I had one in the middle of church once with my first pregnancy. Drink lots and lots of water. I never leave home without a huge thing of water. It's so crucial to stay well hydrated for you and baby. I've even swiped some of my kids Pedialyte when I've felt the need for a little hydrating pick-me-up.
  • So, in kind of weird symptoms (had them with DS too) my gums bleed when I floss, and I’m more prone to nose bleeds...
  • @lelkcot Those symptoms don't seem very strange to me. You've got more blood flow going to everything so that would explain the nose bleeds. Gums normally get more sensitive during pregnancy. It hurt so bad when I went to the dentist a few months back. It's good you're flossing though, gingivitis chances can go up during pregnancy, too.
  • @Lbloom yep, my dentist warned me about both the gum sensitivity and the increased risk of gingivitis. Since I already have less than awesome teeth, I’m extra careful fur pregnancy!
  • For me the nausea is still so real. I feel like I'm vomiting more now than I did during the first trimester. Headaches have also been really bad for me. Still waiting for that "glow" to start!
  • Oh, I forgot to add that the RLP has been out of control. Every time I sneeze, cough, roll over in bed, etc. And fall allergies are kicking in so it's been really uncomfortable!
  • Add me to the group with super freaking sore nipples!!! I walked in a store and it was just slightly chilly and my nipples got hard and they hurt so bad!!! I've also had one nipple getting sticky. It's the weirdest thing.
  • Sore/Bleeding Gums
    Soooo many headaches!!!!!! Basically daily.
    Lightening Crotch
    Chronically itchy nipples
    Occasiinally itchy belly
Mild breakouts - and I never had any skin issues even throughout puberty!!!!!
Hangry with zero desire or willpower to eat anything healthy.
Feeling her move only once or twice every few days which is super annoying.
Easily winded despite maintaining some of my usual workouts.

..... am I missing anything? LOL

  • The sore nipples are the worst. Last pregnancy it didn't happen - I just had the very occasional sharp pain. I think someone described it as being stabbed with hot needles? Accurate description. But it didn't happen much. This time I've had sore boobs and nipples constantly for the last month, and it's a very different pain - it's like they're swollen and bruised. It's the worst.
  • So I’m remembering so many more now that you are all bringing up so many :) ... along with my exhaustion and dry eyes. The itchy belly hit this week and my boobs are so sore!! I had to wear a bra even when I typically wouldn’t have had to. I’m right along with you second mommies of little ones that are knocking into them ouch! I’m also having RLP and cramping here and then as well. And finally I’m also breaking out!
