    FFSC: I’m probably going to go early and I’m due at the beginning of the month. I went 10 days early with my son so I’m thinking I’m gonna have an April baby. Hopefully no one hates my uterus 😂 I actually hope I go late (or on time) though because I want a May baby!
    I'm right there with ya. So far, neither of my older kiddos was born during their due-date month... one was late, one was early. I'm hoping this will be the one, but with a 5/5 due date, I won't be surprised if I end up with an April baby. Convenience wise, I hope he/she stays put until May.
    @brie_and_almonds totally forgot we were due date buddies! I’m guessing it’ll be on or around April 25th. I went into labor spontaneously with my son, so I’m assuming that will happen again, but you never know!

  • FFSC I think Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are kinda dumb and both usually involve an inordinate amount of work for women and I’d rather just not.

  • @DuchessOfCambridge I always wear panty liners,  too! I was shocked when I found out that not everyone wears them.

  • @zuuls_mom my son was due 12/20 and came 12/1. I’m due 5/13 and really want a May baby, too!
  • @imrachellea Birthday Buddies!! Mine is also 5/12 and I feel EXACTLY how you do.

  • @sleepy33 Agreed! My DH wanted to fix up the yard for me, which ended with me watching our toddler all day long anyway. It would have been easier if it was a normal weekend and he just stayed inside to help.
  • @secicc12 Jumping in on the dunks discussion but DH and I had a horrible time without it but we finally have some in our area now. None close enough to stop at while out running errands but if we go towards the beach, to the airport, and a few other things, there's 3-4 within 50 miles now.

    @psychobutthead DD was born at 39+6 and was 8lbs on the dot so my OB said we'd keep an eye on this LO's size as if I end up with a 9lb baby, we might want to induce at 39 weeks. I'm hoping not to have that happen but I only gained 20 lbs with the 8lber so I think if I gain more, I have a pretty good chance of a big baby making a vaginal delivery difficult. I'm assuming that's the reason for the 39 week induction law (although that's soooo weird). My coworker was due 3 weeks before me, with PCOS, and developed GD. She stuck to her diet amazingly well although was completely miserable but her daughter was only 7lbs at 39 weeks. She was actually scheduled for a RCS at 39+4 because she was trying to go to her sister's wedding at 39+2 but she went into labor (it was her second and her first came at 39 weeks as well).

    @DuchessOfCambridge @expandcontract yup! I wear a liner if I'm not wearing a pad.

    I have diabetes and they always have scheduled me for an induction or c-section at 39 weeks so the baby doesn't get too big, but my son was 7lbs 12oz at 39w5d and my daughter was only  5lb 14oz at 39w maybe if they just let them be I wouldn't have ended up with c-sections.

    my fffc is I'm excited to have a Mother's day dd because I don't want to do anything for anyone haha! I feel like every year i'm rushing around stressing over what to do for my mother and MIL and where to go for brunch :weary: hopefully this year I get a pass.

    I also was kind of excited to have a holiday dd I was born on Thanksgiving and I loved it growing up.  tw my son that we lost in June at 20w was due on Halloween end tw
