I’m a second time mom with a 2 1/2 year old (she’ll be 3 before the new baby.) The birth of my first was not ideal: GD, small for gestational age, induction, c-section, and 5 day H stay for high blood pressure. I’ve switched practices this time and am seeing a combo of midwives and OBs so I’m hoping for a very different experience and hopefully a vbac.
Hi! Late to the introduction game here...my name is Amy. My partner and I have been together for 10 years (married 4.5). We had been trying to conceive for 2 years, and JUST as we were faced with the possibility of fertility treatments, our little baby decided to make their entrance. I'm about 11+3 weeks along, and I am just so excited to be a mom!!! We have our first ultrasound tomorrow so we will have a better date, but as of now I'm due approximately June 2nd. Oh and we have an amazing little Labrador named Sprout. Any Harry Potter fans catch the reference?? We live in Ontario, Canada!
@chrssyms Well, she likes EATING plants...🤷♀️ And there's no particular affinity for Professor Sprout, I just thought the name would be stinkin cute for a pup! And she is really small too, so it suits her. Under 45 pounds, which is teeny for a Lab. We'll keep her! 😊
@ashucal aww! That is pretty small for a lab, but that's not a bad thing since vet care seems to be paid for by the pound! It's funny, our youngest pup is named Ginny, but not after Ron's sister. We adopted her from Virginia, so my DH thought Ginny would be a good name for her.
DH (38) and I (38) have been married for 9 years & together for 21 years. We started dating back in HS. Our DS will be 4 in August & our DD will be 2 in February. I loved my A15 BMB and I am a member of our current FB group which I am very active in. We have even done a few meet ups!
I am a SAHM & DH is a pilot as well as chief pilot for his company. I was a high school choir director for 10 years. After living in Washington State all our lives, we moved to Texas 4+ years ago for DHs career.
Hey mamas! My name is Angela. I’m 30 y/o and pregnant with my first baby.
EDD is 6/16/2019. I’m having the cell free dna testing done next week to find out the gender (super excited).
My SO and I are not yet married; we planned to have a wedding in fall 2020; not too sure what we’ll do now... I’m already anticipating the financial changes having a little one will bring...
But I am super happy to have a network of other expecting mamas at my fingertips. I’m looking forward to journeying with you all! Blessings to everyone.
Hello everyone! My name is Kat and I am 33 years old. I am pregnant with my fifth baby (and last one) and my due date is June 15th! My husband and I have been married for about 5 years now, we met on Xbox and he ended up moving to South Carolina to be with me Besides the little peanut in my belly I have 2 girls who are 16 and 15, and 2 boys who are 13 and 11. I am also a massive animal lover, especially cats, and I am crazy about Hallmark Movies, lol.
Hi everyone!!! I'm an IVF mama-to-be an am thrilled to be here! I'm cautiously optimistic this time around after suffering an early loss last pregnancy, so while super nervous and over analyzing EVERYTHING, I'm looking forward to this magical time
Hey all, I’m 36, divorced with two daughters. They are 9&8. This is my third baby, due June 24th, with my boyfriend. We’ve been together for about a year. I live in South Jersey, but me and the girls are moving to central PA in May (my boyfriend was just transferred out there for his job). It’s an interesting situation, lol. We were pleasantly surprised with a BFP in October, I never saw myself doing this at 36 (well 37 when I deliver) but we’re all very excited. Praying for a Boy since I have my girls and he has his daughter from his previous marriage. I feel like the older mom getting back into this, it feels like I know nothing lol.
I just found out on Thursday that I was pregnant with baby #2 after suddenly realizing I was sleeping all the time and I didn't remember a cycle in October! I think it's funny that I went to my primary in October for out of control indigestion and no one suspected then . Our little surprise comes to us at age 44! Though we are shocked, we are thrilled and praying for a healthy and sticky baby. I guess the prayers of my 5 year old were getting though . Our first HCG came in today and we are over 22K, so thats 7-8 weeks. I have to schedule an ultrasound in the morning.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and seeing all of those sweet baby pics before we know it!
Hello from California. I'm 31 years old. EDD of 6/29. This is my second pregnancy. Unfortunately I experienced a missed miscarriage earlier this year followed by a D&C. So, I'm nervous but hopeful. Married for just over a year and this will be my husband and I's first child. Otherwise we have two dogs that we love like our children!
Late to the party, but I really love this forum! This is my first pregnancy and EDD is June 10. Have a wonderful husband and a cat and dog we love very much. As this is my first pregnancy I have no idea what is normal and going on with me so really like reading about everyone else’s experiences!
Hello. Congratulations everyone! I'm Lita. My Giant(MG=my boyfriend) and I are expecting are first child together. Due date is June 9th
We found out Oct. 3rd. I took 3 tests 2 days after my MP. I'm currently 11 weeks and a day. My first appt was scheduled on 11/8. Our baby HB was 179bpm. Baby was kicking! And my second 11/20.
Hi everyone! I’ve been on the May board for a bit, but they’ve changed my due date to June 2nd or 3rd based on my early u/s so I thought I’d hop over here! I am married to my best friend and we are going on 10 years now. We have 4 kiddos and 2 dogs, so adding our 5th is just adding a tad more chaos to our lives. Cant wait to get to know you all!
Baby 1 - November 2009 *loss* - March 2010 Baby 2 - January 2011 Baby 3 - June 2015 Baby 4 - April 2017 Baby 5 - May 2019
Hi Ladies - DH and I celebrated our 1 yr wedding anniversary sep 30 and found out we’re expecting! Best anniversary present ever! Due date is June 14th. This will be our first child but we already have a full home with 2 dogs and 2 cats. looking forward to getting to know you all over the next 6-7 months!
I live in Portland with my DH of 5 years and our spoiled golden retriever. I’m pregnant for the first time at 38 years old (our first round of IUI was a winner). I’ve never spent time around babies or little kids, and I’m a worrier/over-thinker by nature, so this adventure should be interesting... I have a demanding career in healthcare organizational development, and although I make significantly more than DH, sadly I have yet to convince him to try the stay-at-home dad thing (I mean, I get where he’s coming from too, but putting a 12-week-old newborn in full-time daycare already seems impossible to me?!).
I’m looking forward to connecting with other professionals who are moms, other first-timers, other worriers - all kinds of moms! Cheers to the journey.
Hello, I've been lurking for a few weeks but finally decided to introduce myself today. My husband and I are expecting our second child with a due date of June 11th. I have been exteremely nervous and cautious so far as we had two losses before our son was born in April 2017. However, I just had my 2nd OB appointment today and saw a nice strong heartbeat so I'm feeling more positive now. I'll be 12 weeks along tomorrow. Here's hoping it's smooth sailing from here on out!
Hi everyone! Excited to be here. I’m due June 16 with baby #3. My husband and I have 2 little boys (2.5 years and 4.5 years old). They are full of energy and keep us on our toes, but they’re oh, so cute! We live in Kentucky and love sports, hiking, traveling, hosting parties/get togethers and just being with family! Looking forward to getting to know you all throughout this journey. It’s not easy, but it’s better when you have encouragment and support!
I have been a lurker here and there for a few weeks. I finally had my first u/s and I am 10w with baby #2. I was really active with my DD’s BMB (October 13), and I am looking forward to getting to know you all.
Hi, I'm a FTM. TTC for 2 years and started seeking help from a fertility clinic earlier this year, had a failed IUI cycle, which we were so disappointed and decided to put treatment on hold for awhile. A surprise natural BFP came 2 months after the failed IUI! EDD mid june, which is our 4th wedding anniversary
Hello Everyone, My name is Latarvia, I am 22 years old, found out I was pregnant Oct 30th my estimated due date is June 25. This is my first pregnancy...
Hello, I'm 11 weeks a STM with a 9 1/2 month old. I'm 35 and DH is 42. This is unexpected as we didn't plan on having a baby so soon, but here we are EDD June 22nd.
Hi! I'm 11wks today, and I'm a first-time-mom! I had a miscarriage back in 2016, so I've been very nervous with this pregnancy. However, I heard the heartbeat for the second time today, and that gives me a little more confidence in doing things like finally participating in this board instead of just creepin'.
Hey y’all! New to the community portion of thebump. On my way to being a FTM due June 21st so I’m 11+4. Crossing fingers to get through to second tri. H and I are in our first year of marriage and we have two gigantic dogs (really kicking myself getting the second one last year 🤣)
Hello lovely mommas! My name is Kait. I’m 28 and live in Atlanta with my DH of three years. I’m a content marketing consultant and he’s in real estate. We’re expecting our first bambino with an EDD of 6/30. We got the positive pregnancy test on our third wedding anniversary—a beautiful (and simultaneously terrifying) surprise. My sister-in-law is due in April with her second, so my heart might just burst with love. Hubby has been a nervous wreck since the day we found out—pacing, sweating, spontaneously crying lol. I’ve been uncharacteristicly calm, cool, and collected thus far. I’ve wanted to be a mom for a long time. I’m so excited for this journey and thankful to have a supportive group like this to confide in. Sending you love and light. 💕🤰🏼
SO is 34 and I am too - this is our first! I’ve experienced pretty severe depression most of my first trimester - and have taken steps to seek help and support.
Wondering how others are doing with the mixed emotions of pregnancy?
We wanted a child and this wasn’t an accident - but I vacillate between despondency, grief, excitement - but a lot of grief. And guilt for the grief!
please do share your experiences - especially FTM Happy to be here
Hello
I totally thought I introduced myself here but I think I must have been somewhere else?
I’m 11 weeks and 6 days today. Due June 28th.
I have a 9 year old son and 6 year old son. I lost two babies in between my boys. At 12-5 and 8-1.
I am also due one day after my due date with my oldest🤣
No offense to anyone but the app for this kinda sucks and keeps me from keeping up very well but I try.
Warning
No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
@MomaPetey630 Yup. The app SUCKS. They really have to get it together. My second is due 6 days earlier than my son was born (10 days earlier than his due date). It’s really interesting to be on the same time line (and nice because I feel like Im moving a bit faster this time 😂)

I wasn't sure I was going to come back to the bump for this pregnancy, but at the same time felt weird not to drop in. I've been on bump boards for eight years
EDD: between the 14th and the 17th take your pick given history it will probably be earlier than that.
I'm 37 a college instructor and small business owner with my husband. I have an 8 and a 3 year old. 3 cats and a dog. I don't post much ... total lurker.
Hi ladies! I have been lurking on the boards since my first appointment confirming the pregnancy back in November. Thought I would introduce myself.
I'm 32 FTM due 6/3. We were pregnant almost the same time in 2016 but lost the baby at 9 weeks. We've been together 8 years and finally got married in July. We weren't planning to conceive until December but we are so happy we have a healthy baby, even if it's earlier than expected. I love all the advice and support from all the FTM and S/TTMs!
Hi I have been lurking for a few days now so it is time to introduce myself. I am a first time mom due June 13th, me and my husband got married July 2016 and after 8 months of trying here we are. I am from Boston and I work in software development. I love cats (we have two) and baking (I am told I make very good cupcakes and oatmeal cookies especially).
Hi everyone! I’m Sara and our EDD is 6/27/19. 2019 has been a crazy year for us. We got married in May (hurray!) but also had a pregnancy loss a few weeks before the wedding. We had gone off BCs in feb thinking it would take my late 30s self a while to get the pipes working, but turns out we were wrong! In July my beautiful MIL passed away from late stage pancreatic cancer and we are still processing that grief. She knew of the brief spring pregnancy and it brought her so much joy. On her last night on earth she checked in to see how our conception journey was going. So I feel very hopeful that somewhere the news of her grandson is bringing her joy. We found out we were pregnant on our honeymoon! I’m 39 so all the early genetic testing has been done and so far the news is good! Our sweet dog Wally is very excited for his little brother and spends a lot of time snuggling with my belly! Looking forward to getting to know everyone on here better and grateful for this support group!
