I honestly have no clue if I've felt BH contractions at all. I definitely feel some cramping every once in a while but I have no clue how to differentiate BH vs RLP vs baby in an uncomfortable position so I basically just ignore everything.
@kaf1788 I'm in pretty much the same boat. Is it a hard kick session? Is it RLP? BH? Am I just sore from life? I do notice that this happens later at night so I think that's typical for BH... and hey, they say most people don't feel the majority of them, it's just practice for your uterus. I'm pretty sure that we'll know when it's actual contractions -- even people on "I didn't know I was pregnant" know when it gets to that part! :P
@tosh24 yes my ankles are sore but not swollen- especially at night.... It’s hard to get comfy at night. I need to start seeing a chiropractor I feel it will help with a lot of my soreness!
i never felt any BH with my first pregnancy and now get them a lot; maybe I was getting them and didn’t know..... all I know is once I had a real contraction I definitely knew! My stomach gets super tight and I get a couple in a row. A midwife said it might also be baby balling up but I’m not convinced that is what it is from.
i had the worst cramp after carrying laundry from the basement to the second floor- guess that means DH is on laundry duty from now on :-) also got crampy walking in flats at the airport this week; definitely time to take it easy!
I’m not caught up on reading all the comments on this thread, so I apologize if this question has been answered.
This weekend, I’ve been experiencing strong abdominal pain in my lower belly, about an inch and a half below my belly button. It just got really painful when I took a walk while pushing DS in his stroller. Dr. Google leans towards it being round ligament pain, but I thought RLP went away quickly, and this pain seems to be lingering (though it feels better when I rest). Has anyone else experienced this kind of pain?

@saltedcaramel518 I actually had really similar pain this weekend. I'm pretty sure mine was just caused by constipation because I felt a lot better once things eventually got moving. But it was super painful and unsettling!
Braxton Hicks don't feel like much, and they don't hurt, but I'll get sort of a tightening feeling and I'll feel my belly and it'll be really hard, then after about 10-30 seconds it stops.
@saltedcaramel518 - gas?? I have been getting the worst pain ever and was starting to worry because it was really bad when laying down too. After a week of miralax and really paying attention I realized it was gas pain but felt magnified because there is just no where for it to go.
I’m not sick but I am congested and sneezing a lot. Also have mild headaches. I had my glucose test and from that blood draw, OBGYN said I’m also slightly anemic. Looking at iron supplements now (I can’t swallow horse pills...wish there were iron gummies). Anyway, the cramping is more frequent now but I’m thinking it’s my uterus stretching out for growth spurt.
@AliKay20 I had to add iron supplements too. I’m not great at pills either, my doctor suggested Vitron-c and it’s not super huge pills. Smaller than Advil liquigels I’d say.
@leighbrek Did you buy the oil for the fish or can you just use olive oil or something? I've been on iron supplements for 2 years and nothing is working because I can only be on certain formulations due to my GI issues. I have a friend who has RA and she has had lots of success with the LIF so I am going to purchase one for myself.
