Add me to the holiday lover group! We decorate big for Halloween, but it’s more Dia de los Muertos than spiders and witches. Both of my kids were adamant about keeping that tradition when they joined our family. My school allows us to dress up for Halloween, so I’m busy researching pregnancy costumes. I’m in the US but my Christmas tree will be up in early November. There’s no rule saying you can’t have your tree up while celebrating thanksgiving!

I love cats. They are seriously adorable and they are more self reliant than dogs. But I also don’t think you have to be either a cat or dog person. I’m a both person. I just want all the animal cuddles.

Dave Ramsey bothers me because of all the prosperity gospel crap he spews. People with financial security are not that way because they are somehow morally superior. God loves poor people too.

Maybe I'm just old and not with it, but I seriously don't understand this whole Drake In My Feelings song and Kiki challenge. My nephew was talking to me about it and my eyes just glazed over because it just doesn't make sense. I just think it's silly.

I usually don't decorate until the weekend after Thanksgiving and take down on New Year's day. But since I'm due early January and hoping this baby will last until then, I will probably decorate a couple weeks earlier this year and take down decorations right after Christmas so I can clean my house good before the baby comes.

I love holidays except for Halloween, I could never get into that one. We didn’t do anything to celebrate it until last year.

@emmaaa my DD was due 1/29/17 (born 2/3/17) and usually my Christmas decorations last until February or so lol I love them...but when she was coming, initially I already only put out the necessities to make it easier for take down (didn't put out the tiny stuff or the complicated items) and got rid of everything about a week or two after Christmas. This time, with DS due 1/10, I'll probably again put out less decorations and take down soon after Christmas. DD LOVES christmas lights, though, so i'll probably leave up the colorful lights we put around the house. Those aren't in the way and are easy to remove when needed.

I love cats. So much. I dont understand people who just say they hate all cats, but my suspicion is theyve only met shitty cats.

I can't stand cats. I hate the way their tails wrap around your leg and they run up against you...ugh ... Get off. Their tongues are scratchy. They glare at you. Some kittens are cute, but no thanks. I'm also allergic to some cats. 

I don't understand how people like them so much , lol.

To be fair, I'm not a big animal person in general.
