This has happened in our house quite a few times (walked in to see shit finger paintings on the crib/wall) before when my ds was around one...I resorted to using a thin strip of duct tape around the waist of his diaper at bedtime/naptime because of it

We were planning to take a babymoon in September or October or sometime when I weaned DS but that isn't going so well so the babymoon probably not going to happen

@kayjay44 I can't even imagine! She kept testing and they were all negative so she did go out and drink and she feels super super guilty about it.

@allthingsgo I love that show. I always watch in awe because I can't imagine going 9 months not knowing.. like they don't even get big or feel the baby grow?!

There’s a post starting to go viral around here from our local sheriff’s department about a young woman that had a baby in secret and kept the baby in her car in a trash bag after she had it. She had to go to the hospital due to blood loss and that’s when they found the baby. The baby had been deceased for at least a day at this point. Everyone keeps talking about how “she was so sweet” and “I can’t believe she did this,” but all I keep thinking is I totally see how it happened. I live in the heart of the Bible Belt. I’m pretty sure she was scared to death to tell anyone she was pregnant, much less that she had the baby. It’s the problem we have around here. All of these feelings are so antiquated. It’s so incredibly sad and I can’t understand how she could do that to her baby, but I can understand that there was probably a lot of fear there.

@PurplePoppy424 Your sentiment kind of reminds me of my feelings when i watched the imagine dragons documentary Believer. Its largely about the massive amount of teen and young adult suicides in Utah and within the Mormon community. Many of the suicides they discussed were directly related to intolerance of LGBT and sexuality in general. Its so sad.

Her name was clearly visible AND she asked for people to comment by guessing the gender (at 14 weeks, nonetheless). Hopefully she DDd out of sheer embarrassment.

Alright I need to bitch for a minute.  Call d my insurance last week to ask if the MaterniT21 test was covered.  They said it was at 100% my doc sent in a prior authorization just to cover our bases and it came back DENIED

so I call to find out why and they won’t tell me!  They say they are not a physician and are not qualified to explain why.  What in the holy hell does you telling me why it was denied after saying it was covered have to do with that.  So I’m pissed and just trying to figure out if there is a program in my area for the test because I can’t afford $800 for it and I had a terrible experience with the quad screen and don’t want to go that route again.

@lifeofboggs what the hell! That seems like it should be illegal to deny it and then not tell you why! Can you talk to your doctor about what happened or have them call? I hate dealing with insurance bs. It’s ridiculous the hoops they have you jump through just to get things covered.
