@lifesabeach85 I like this approach a lot. With DD, we didn’t decide that I’d stay home until my maternity leave was almost up so at first, I was pumping to feed her but to also build up a stash. After doing that for a few months the routine was set so I just continued with the every 2-3 hours approach. This time I’m much more determined to BF so hopefully my routine this time around will look more like yours!
Anyone have bellyband recommendations for postpartum? I forget which brand I had, but it would ride up and feel awkward when I would sit down, so I never wore it. I’ll post this question in the registry thread as well.
I watched the movie Tully last night...not going to lie, it started to make me anxious about going through the newborn stage again and sleep deprivation that comes with it.
If anyone needs a good laugh about pregnancy/birth i highly recommended the Ali Wong comedy special on Netflix. It’s pretty vulgar, but she tells it like it is.
@BabyBoyH92016 That is exactly why I've been putting off watching that movie! I also really enjoyed Ali Wong's standups. I was definitely chuckling when she was talking about the life of ease she was going to lead as a SAHM and then in the second one when she realized how wrong she was
@MouseMama817 I'm probably way late with this response, but my friend had a 3 year old that loved her paci. She took her to build a bear and they put her last paci in the bear before they sewed it up. She was perfectly fine after that! Maybe something to think about?
@MouseMama817 lol I hadn't thought of that! Build a bear has a hospital you can send damaged bears to to be fixed though so I guess it wouldn't be all that bad if something went wrong
