I've been wearing my pre-pregnancy shorts because they still fit under the bump. But the last couple days baby likes to push herself against the waistband of my shorts and it's such a strange feeling.
I did a lot of stuff today but spread it out. Was laying on the floor before with the dog and was drifting off to sleep. Now I am on a couch after dinner and want to just sleep and I slept in before the 70 lb dog fell off the bed.
@SawyerRichardson I had to say goodbye to pregnancy clothes a while ago... I wish I listened to all of your sooner and just get maternity shorts and pants. I'm loving them!!! You were all right and I was wrong.. lol
@sammierose464 I had this the entire time with DS and now with DD as well. I was told blood pressure fluctuations because of added blood volume. But also to try to drink a little more in case dehydration was adding to it. I got them randomly until he was born, and have been having them for a bit now.
I've been trying to up my water even more lately. It hasn't been hard because I've been sooooo thirsty. I've been drinking 100oz+ lately. I was slightly worried because the nurse yesterday commented my BP was slightly higher than normal. Like 135/83?
+1 for being super hot, feeling huge and easily out of breath! My feet have been swelling as well, which is just dandy. Went out and had to get a few new pairs of shoes. I plan to start aqua aerobics after we get back from the Kauai babymoon next week. Hopefully that will make me feel better...
@sammierose464 - near the end of 1st trimester, my OB was talking about my blood pressure. (She is concerned I am a pre-e risk). She mentioned that my bp was probably as low as it would be my entire pregnancy, and that it may rise later in pregnancy, just as the normal course of things.
Maybe talk to your OB about your concerns about your bp. They may not be concerned, or they may want to pay closer attention.
I just woke up on the floor and have no idea how I got there. I have low blood pressure and dizzy spells during pregnancy, so I’m assuming I passed out. Luckily I landed on my giant pregnancy pillow that is on the floor. H is *pissed* I didn’t immediately run to L&D. I have no one to watch Z, how would I even do that?
@chopchop25 I think so. It happened when I was pregnant with Z too. They made me go in then, but that was becuase I landed hard on the floor and they needed to check on baby. Nothing hurts. Not my head, belly, or limbs, so I think the pillow saved me.
@krzyriver - that was some fortuitous placement of the pillow. As sucky as it sounds, you guys might want to think about how to take care of Z if you do need to make an emergency ER trip. This time was okay; next time, maybe not?
@knottieamusements Normally my mother could come get him but she wasn’t home and I didn’t want to track her down until I knew if I really needed to go in or not. Once she’s home I’ll at least give her a heads up about the situation.
25 weeks and I am hot at the time, have bad heart burn, belly is now getting in the way, nothing fits anymore, feeling stretched out. I would be fine but my son is exhuasting me everyday. I'm hungry all the time too. Feel pretty good I know I'm about to explode and get huge since we have a little over 3 months left. Not ready for sleepless nights.
I got to go out with two close friends last night - we all have kids and it took us 2 months to find a date that worked. We laughter, ate, and caught up. I was great.
Then though, my side abs are so tired all the time I had intense deep pain in them driving home. My ob told me to do some more core work like planks and back work. And then I had such bad heartburn I refluxed in my sleep a few times and woke myself up...
I started experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions over the weekend, but didn't know that's what it was until this morning. Just experienced another one after returning from my lunch break. It doesn't hurt, exactly, my stomach just gets very hard for about 30 seconds and then returns to normal. Mildly uncomfortable.
My right ribs hurt, especially when I sneeze. I don't feel him up there, I feel him lower, so I don't feel like it's him up there. All I know is that it's painful and it sucks.
Today I've had some weird, random pains in my pelvic. I had a really stressful morning at work and so it kinda worried me. At first it felt like something was pushing on my cervix, just really uncomfortable. Now it's just random discomfort in my pelvic. He's still moving around like crazy, so i know he's fine. I'm starting to get worried he's going to try and come early now.
@sammierose464 Just because baby isn’t up in your ribs doesn’t mean they haven’t shoved everything else up there. Your ribs may be full of stomach or who knows what. My rib cages expanded significantly with DS (and unfortunately never went back). Chiro really helped me when it got super painful later on.
I can’t breathe. I don’t remember it starting this early the last two times around. My back pain has also gotten to the point that it’s excruciating and I can barely move.
@nikimelon I had some jaw pain that lasted about three days about two weeks ago. Wasn't sure if it was my antibiotics I'm on or pregnancy, but if you are having it too then maybe more pregnancy related! So weird what our bodies do!

I tweaked my ankle in wedges yesterday. Normally wouldn’t have bothered me but darn these loose pregnancy ligaments. Hobbling around this morning at work and putting ice on it.
22+5 I’m finally feeling really good physically this week and have some energy to get things done! I have family coming in this weekend and staying for a week so I’m really hoping it lasts. However, emotionally I’ve been all over the place. I know we still have a few months left, but I feel like time is flying by and we still have so much to do. Plus with work, school, and all of the other summer plans mixed in I’m just feeling really overwhelmed with everything. Hopefully having my family in town for a few days will help and not make me feel even more behind

This. Exactly this.
I hope things level out for you soon. You definitely aren’t alone in feeling overwhelmed by all the things.
+100000000000 to feeling overwhelmed. I wish I wasn't moving so close to the baby coming. Feels so hard to plan and get things ready. Today we sent out our shower invites and that made me calm down a bit since likely we will get what we need then

Thanks guys! It’s always nice to know I’m not alone
@sammierose464 I’ve been worried about that too! I started a new job almost 2 years ago and up until about 4 months ago it has always been very manageable for me. The last 4 months have been so busy with so many new projects that I am working way more than I ever did and the projects are way more stressful!
@chyvie My first shower is actually this weekend (joint shower with my sister who is traveling here and is 28 weeks). It’s nice to have it early so hopefully having more of the necessities will help...however, I checked my registries and very few things have been purchased from there and we have over 30 people coming for the shower! I don’t recommend checking your registry because it’s just adding to my crazy right now thinking we aren’t going to have what we need and just end up with a million blankets (and I do realize this is a first world problem, and we will be very thankful for anything we receive for our little guy!)
Also, maybe I just don't understand people who don't buy off a registry. They must be the same people who don't believe in Christmas and birthday lists.
@spartan4life Maybe your guests are procrastinators like I am. I can't tell you how many showers I've gone to where I buy the gift from Target online the night before and do pickup in-store on my way there and wrap it in the parking lot!
I've had someone recently ask for the registry and then flat out refuse to purchase off it. Grateful for whatever we get, but we tried to make it easy by putting it all in one place!

Seem to be feeling better. Just a little off.

Is it October yet?
Really getting in the way of some delicious coffeecake this morning though, so it needs to stop.

I love lists.

@sliztee Me too! I love lists and always buy off registries (if things are still available)
