Fun fact for making the most of your cereal with milk: store the cereal in the freezer. It'll keep your milk colder longer and won't get as mushy so fast.
I prefer milk with my cereal too. And I had to think about "munchkins" for a second since that's my nickname for SS. I mostly think of Timbits or donut holes.
SS and I went to Five Below and I got candy for our trip. Which included a 2lb bag of Sour Patch kids, which is now open next to me.
I wonder if knowing what munchkins are is a regional thing... I assumed everyone knew what they were, but I guess not! Are all of us who call them munchkins in or from places that have dunkin?? Just curious, as I love discovering regional differences! And now I reslly want some munchkins too!
Yes, @pumpkinpancake, Munchkins are unique to Dunkin' Donuts, just like Timbits are unique to Tim Horton's, as @chyvie commented on. I believe donut holes are the universal term for them, though!
A few nights ago, I was super wanting carbs, and I asked the fella to bring me one of his ginormous sandwich rolls. He brought it to me slathered in Nutella. It was delicious and disgusting and I ate the whole thing.

We have a dunkin' donuts, I just don't usually go there. That's why I had an idea of what they were, but it took me a second.
@nikimelon Great idea to keep cereal in the freezer but...who has room in their freezer for that?!? I only have the small freezer on top of my refrigerator though so that may make a dif.
@jellybelly114 yep, Tim Hortons is Canadian (affectionately called Tim’s, Timmies, or Timmy Ho’s). Also, because Canada, it’s named after a guy who played hockey for the Toronto Maple Leafs...
@jynjer91 we got a separate upright freezer last year that we keep in our garage, and it was a complete life changer. We have sooo much shit stored in there, and there’s always room for more! We buy a lot at Costco though, so freezing a lot of stuff is essential.
Also, pro tip - fresh baked muffins and unbaked balls of cookie dough freeze really well! The muffins defrost with like 20-30 seconds in the microwave and literally taste freshly baked again, and the cookie dough balls can be popped into the oven straight from the freezer to be baked, and only need like an extra minute or two compared to the normal recipe time. Easiest way to have fresh baked cookies anytime you want them!!
Chocolate frosted Hostess Donettes and chocolate milk for breakfast.
PB&J and Cheetos for lunch.
Chex Muddy Buddies (mint chocolate flavor) and chocolate milk for a mid afternoon snack.
Kraft Mac & Cheese (with Cars shaped noodles!) for dinner.
Dessert will probably be a Drumstick, as I have a box in the freezer calling my name. Although, if the ice cream truck rolls down my street, it may have to be a Choco Taco...
I made tacos for SS and DH (although apparently DH is going out to dinner with his buddies after a funeral viewing. ). I had left over Caesar salad from Panera (we had it catered at work yesterday). But he also eaten plenty of sour patch kids today.
Why am I throwing up everything I eat again?! The last 2 days have been like this. Such a weird feeling though...nauseas and starving at the same time.
@jynjer91 - Around 24 weeks, my gag reflex got really sensitive again, like it was during first trimester. I thought it was weird and wondered if my hormones were in flux again.
@knottieamusements ohh that day of food sounds amazing! Mint muddy buddies!? How have I never seen or heard of this wonderful creation? Dh loved the hot cocoa chex mix but I haven't been able to find it for years.
This toasted bagel with cream cheese I’m eating post glucose test is maybe the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. It occurred to me after ordering it that maybe drinking sugar syrup and eating a bagel is not the best choice but idgaf right now.
I've been on a cereal kick for like a week now. I could eat it all day every day. But not dry. I don't use a ton of milk because I dont like it soggy either but dry is weird to me. Haha
+1 for not liking jelly. DS LOVES pb&j and jelly just grosses me out for some reason.
I ate my left over quesadilla super early. I was still hungry so my co worker ordered me wings at BWWs. I stopped and got a Timmy Hos Oreo Iced Capp. Mmmmmmm
Pigged out on all of the things today! Fast food breakfast, pizza buffet for lunch, movie popcorn and soda, dinner so far was ice cream and chocolate chip cookies.
yesterday was a junk fest-save for the smoothie I had as a late afternoon snack. breakfast was a bacon/egg/swiss on a roll from the bodega and a bunch of goldfish crackers. later we went to the movies and I ate a whole bag of popcorn and a box of junior mints. then mac and cheese for dinner.
I got some mini croissants and maple breakfast sausage this morning- it was awesome.

To add to my sugar saga today, DH surprised me with fun flavors of Japanese Kit Kats from the asian market after work. Forever in love.

I accept the blame.

Bacon egg McGriddle for 10 am snack
Popeyes 3 chicken tenders and fries for lunch
Chicken bacon wrap and fries from a pub for dinner
2 chocolate chip cookies for dessert
I feel like crap now and regretting it all. At the time they all tasted so good though!

I prefer homemade muddy buddies, but when I make them, it is enough for a party. (I add pretzels, M&Ms, peanuts, etc - yum!)

I think a lot of the cereals are fortified with good minerals and vitamins so maybe that's why we are all craving and enjoying them?
