My body naturally wakes up between 4 and 5 now, and sciatica prevents me from sleeping past 7. Currently 7:45 pm and I'm completely exhausted from doing nothing all day.
@sammierose464 yes! I was SO excited! My mom giggled at me, because I was so excited I ate the whole thing. I still have the meds daily, and unfortunately those 2 meals weren't in the same day. The sandwich was Friday night and pizza today (Saturday). I've worked up to usually 1 thing actual food/meal (like the sandwich and then the rest of the days calories are usually liquids (unless I have enough courage to try a couple cookies or share a popsicle with DS, or try a few bites of something early in the day). But it's progress and I'm so excited that it will lead to more normal eating again!
I was so proud I stayed up last night to watch the 10:30pm showing of Jurassic World and didn't fall asleep during the movie! (Which was fantastic btw) I also resisted the urge for movie theater popcorn even tho it smelled sooooooooooo good. We did get coldstone ice cream right beforehand though so I woulda felt bad giving in to two cravings back to back lol Unfortunately my body also doesn't have any concept of sleeping in so now here I am awake after only sleeping 5ish hours.
For anyone wanting the manchego mac & cheese recipe, it's in the spoiler. I got it from a friend so it's not the best instructions since he eyeballs everything. I haven't made it myself but it is all sorts of sinful. I'm sure you could also tweak it to make it from scratch with diff types of pasta if you want. Seems simple enough.
Sorry it took so long for me to post it! I've been checked out of the app for the last couple weeks cause life has been crazy.
Manchego mac & cheese:
1 box white cheddar mac n cheese 3 wedges of manchego cheese, shredded 1 tub of whipped cream cheese Garlic powder to taste Bacon bits (optional)
Cook the mac and cheese per the box instructions but do not drain all of the water from the pot. Add cream cheese and garlic, stir until melted. Add white cheddar from box mac and cheese and 2/3 of the shredded manchego. Stir until fully incorporated. Add bacon if desired. Pour the mac n cheese into a glass baking dish, shred remaining 1/3 of manchego on top and bake until crispy/golden.
I'm snacking so much. I just want to eat every two hours! Today I have had a bowl of cereal at 6am (thanks dog for waking us up at 5) then an egg English muffin sandwich with a hash brown at 10, then some fruit and veggies at 12 followed by 6 random spring rolls. This afternoon will likely consist of popcorn and a yogurt before dinner! So much food

@chyvie This is me to a T! I feel like I barely eat an actual meal. I just graze on snacks all day long. If it was healthy snacks that would be one thing, but all I want right now are Doritos and cookies!
@SawyerRichardson oh yesterday consisted of 5 cookies, some chocolate covered pretzels and my regular ice cream bar. I'm a sugar addict pregnant! Usually I'm all about the carbs but stay away from sweets but now I just want all the sugar .I hope I pass my diabetes test next week!

I also made it through the 10 pm showing of Jurassic Park last Friday. Since it's my husbands thing, I didn't have much choice (but it is a good movie anyway). I was more worried about having to get up to pee. I did, however, eat an entire bag of popcorn. After eating 1.5 donuts at a baby shower before that.
I'm pretty sure this kid is going to have my terrible palette. I was a really picky eater as a kid and pretty much only ate the terrible things. I've gotten much better as an adult, but still prefer the terrible things. I've been really enjoying McDonald's chicken nuggets that I used to pretty much subsist on as a child, but don't get very often anymore. Also, last night she had me thinking about Spaghetti O's and the Chef Boyardee ravioli in a can...…. I'm in for trouble.
@hannaht8516 I've been craving Spaghetti O's too! I haven't had them in probably 15 years, but I'm not gonna lie, I think I've eaten like 5 cans this pregnancy!
Y'all are really boosting my ego about my questionable eating habits as of late. I wouldn't exactly say that the second trimester has been my healthiest, but damnit if it hasn't been delicious!
Reeses Peanut Butter Puffs for dinner. My friend lovingly called me 12 for it, and I resent her for it. I'm cranky today. Leave me and my peanut butter puffs alone.
Went to the famers market and got a sourdough loaf, cheese and chive scone and some strawberries and ate that for dinner. So glad DH had hockey tonight!

I was really hungry (to the point of being nauseous) when I came home, so meat and veggies were off the table...sooooo I had some brazilian cheese rolls, a mug of coconut vanilla ice cream with warm choc chip cookie, and some spicy chips. I'm still hungry, and debating eating the fresh batch of cheese rolls that just came out of the oven...I did have a salad for lunch, so it's justified.
We always have Reese's Puffs in the house too! Im not a big cereal eater since I dont like milk, but I'll kill a box of Reese's Puffs. They are actually my go-to if I need something sweet and we are out of candy.
As far as PB&J, Uncrustables are a staple in my household!
I've been on a guava kick lately so instead of pbj I've been making cream cheese and guava jelly sammiches. Makes for easy and yummy breakfast!
Also someone brought munchkins to our training class today. I feel like I've single handedly been doing work on that box. Every time I pass it I can't help but sneak a blueberry or glazed one. Oops.
@knottieamusements I loveee milk on cereal, but I’ve decided you need to be selective about which cereal you eat with milk. Some types will hold their crunch a lot longer than others, while some turn to mush like instantly (yuck!)
Darn you ladies! Now I want dry Kix as a snack with a big glass of cold milk (and I just ate lunch!). And Pb and J on the really cheap squishy white bread.
@chyvie - +1 for donut holes, but I kind of wish you hadn’t helpfully shared that translation because I want them now. (Okay, so I have wanted donuts all morning, and the PB&J didn’t stop that desire.)
All I’ve wanted lately is Tootsie Rolls and Raising Cane’s. And cherry pie from this place near Austin, so I plan to pick up a couple while I’m visiting my family and share with no one.
@SweetSweetTooth the squishy terrible for you white bread it the best for pb&j! I've been having peanut butter and fluff sandwiches for dessert yuuuuuummmmm
How on earth do you eat dry cereal!?!?! That's so crunchy and dry and dusty without milk! Plus maybe a UO but I don't like jelly, I like apple jelly on toast but no other jellies like pb&js. Blech!
