I’m crying happy tears at work. Just got my results back and everything is negative. And we’re having another girl!!
I had a feeling it was another girl but I trust that not at all, because science and 50/50 odds. Honestly it makes things so much easier to have 2 girls long term as we have a gorgeous 2 bedroom condo in a great school district in an urban place where it would be super expensive to upgrade to 3 bedrooms.
Just received my results for NIPT and everything came back low risk. My provider uses Natara/Panorama. The website did not indicate that the results were complete or released to provider. Called Natera and the results were sent to my provider Friday. They just called about an hour ago. Having a gender reveal this Saturday!!! Can’t hardly wait!
Got my results which were “no result” due to insufficient fetal dna. So I’m kinda freaking out since I’m past the point they can do the NT scan and hoping when we do this redraw there is enough for results.
@clawbaby1202 sorry to hear that, hopefully the second time is the charm! Don't freak out though, everything is probably fine, just need another blood draw.
@clawbaby1202 Sorry to hear about your results, I know that must be unnerving. How far along were you when you had your blood drawn? My OB said that while they can do NIPT after 10 weeks, for best results it's better to go after 12 weeks, since the earlier you do it, the greater chance that it may come back as "insufficient fetal DNA", and cause undue stress FX it was just too early, and everything comes back clear!
@clawbaby1202 so sorry you are going through this painful extended waiting game. The good news is “not enough data” doesn’t mean there’s bad news — it just means another blood draw and more stressful waiting. Hopefully @Hollyyyyy is right and getting a new draw at this later point will give you the answers.
I had it drawn at exactly 13 weeks. I was planning on going to have it done again tomorrow at exactly 15 weeks. I really hope that’ll put me in a better place!
I had my blood draw Thursday. Waiting for email from counsyl on cost... hoping low since ama and hoping for closer to 1 week wait. I tried to set up my account online earlier today, but then couldn't log back in. Will have to mess with it after dd is asleep tonight.
NT scan was today, according to tech all looks good, but doc has to confirm. Blood work takes 2 wks, then I get another blood test in 4 weeks for the "sequential screen". Anyone else have to do this?

I had sequential for my first, and single draws for my 2nd and 3rd. Maybe that is your doctor’s preference?
@Activebaby yes it seems like it's the doc's preference, but what's the difference? Why 2 draws instead of one? More info? I wasn't given much of an answer when I explained I'd never heard of it before.
We just got our qnatal results and baby is healthy and a baby girl!!! My son said specifically this morning that he only wants a brother. hahaha. Jokes on you kid!

I think the single draw is newer technology (it didn’t exist when I had the sequential). I bet it’s cost related too. I had the single draw with ds2, but I think I owed some of that cost, and with ds3 I am ama, but...I still owe the cost because I haven’t met my insurance deductible, ugh.
After three weeks one day I FINALLY have my NIPT results!
Low risk everything! My carrier screening was clear, and LO is normal as far as we can tell.
We opted out of NT scanning, so FX that we’re not being lured into a false sense of security. (No idea why Progenity was taking so long though, my OB hassled his nurses to hassle Progenity during our appt. Fax was available when I got out of the restroom.)

So happy to hear of everyone's good results!!! So many girls!!!
My testing isn't until the end of the month. Ugh, feels like so far from now. I'm going to do the NT scan/blood draw at 13 weeks. And finish the blood drawing for the tests from my 8 week appt that have yet to processed due to the previous blood draw ordeal.
Blood drawn last Tuesday and sent to Counsyl, Clinical review stage started Friday night. I thought Clinical Review meant that the Dr had the results but as of today, no dice AND I AM GOING CRAZY. I thought i could be patient but I was wrong.
@rcultrona I did Counsyl also, same timeline of blood draw Tues, moved to clinical review sometime on the weekend. I got a call from my OB’s office Monday morning with key results. But it still says in clinical review on the website, so I haven’t seen any of the details myself.
Maybe call Counsyl if you don’t hear anything tomorrow? I know the wait is crazy-making.

I just did Counsyl too and had my blood draw last Wednesday. I just got the call this evening from my doctor. It’s still showing as Clinical review on their site. FX you get your call soon!
Got some bloodwork results back and apparently I'm a carrier for cystic fibrosis! I'm panicking until SO can get tested. I thought we were in the clear because this test was a MONTH ago! I figured if I hadn't heard anything by now it was because there were no significant results to report guess not.
@scaredunprepared Sorry about the cystic fibrosis, time for me to Google all about it!

@echo-charlietango I'm definitely thinking the worst, but the odds are that baby will be fine. I'm really hoping SO isn't a carrier so we can stop worrying. He needs to be tested immediately! My brain can't handle not knowing.
@scaredunprepared - How stressful! Everything crossed that your husband isn't a carrier. If he is, doesn't mean your child has it though. I have a friend who both her and her husband are carriers and they have a son who is fine.
@lexidawg@maureenmce thank you. I am trying to keep myself as calm as possible because I can't do anything until we find out! I will definitely post here as soon as I get the results. I appreciate all of the positive thoughts.
@scaredunprepared I’m sorry you’re having to go through this, but please try to focus on those odds in the meantime!
AFM, just got the results from my NIPT draw last Friday and baby’s low risk for Down syndrome, Trisomy 18, Trisomy 13, Monosomy X and Triploidy. Also confirmed that the gender is consistent with the PGS result (a little girl). A little more assuring even with the PGS as that egg was retrieved two weeks before I turned 40.
Now I just have try to relax because the last time we got a “normal girl” result (naturally conceived so not PGS tested) *TW* we lost her two days later

that is how my dr's office does it. I don't know why they do it, maybe they get more information from the second blood draw?
Came back 1:10,000 low risk for everything tested. And, we're having another GIRL !!!
