@mccurleya I think a call to the doctor may be a good idea. Sex is usually uncomfortable after not unbearably painful and bloody in my history. The only friend that I have that had that experience was sewn wrong after birthing her daughter.

  • @mccurleya I'm with everyone recommending a call to the doctor!  I had substantial 2nd degree tearing and had sex for the first time 6 weeks PP with very light spotting and minimal discomfort. I know everyone is different, just providing a point of reference. Signicant pain and bleeding shouldn't be something you have to deal with!

I also had a 2nd degree tear. My doctor told me it would be painful and that there would be bleeding afterward and to "push through it" and that it'd get better at my 6 week appt. I also moved out of town today so I can't go see that doctor. I suppose I'll try again and see how it goes later on. If it's unbearable I'll have to find a new doctor asap. Thank you ladies for your input!

    It should get better!
  • @nancysimp lol that's hilarious, sorry! Wyatt has hypospadias so he just pees all over himself if the washcloth I usually cover his wee with falls off. Sucks for outfit changes but at least I never get peed on haha
  • @mccurleya Definitely call your OB, I wouldn't think you should be having any pain or bleeding. I've had sex 2ce now, 9 weeks pp, vaginal delivery. It wasn't painful for me at all. I hope things get better for you.
