A random stranger finally asked if I was pregnant...we were couch shopping and was like "I notice you have a waddle...?!?!" To be fair, I'm also waddling because my hammies are tight from deadlifting Thursday...but definitely have the pregnant waddle going on.
Clearly saw my baby moving for the first time! Giant kicks that made my whole stomach move and some smaller movements that just made my belly button ring wiggle. How did he get so strong overnight?!
Baby was in a really good position to feel kicks for weeks as he was horizontally laying and now hes flipped either head down or head up and facing toward the inside because I'm feeling things on my bladder and what feels like kicks toward the insides. Its not as frequent either so I'm like did you get stuck in there or something. He still moves everyday but for the past 2 days i see like the back or something pudging out and im not feeling kicks on the left side of my belly anymore. I have an anterior placenta so he may be hitting that. Just disappointing because I like when his daddy feels him
The boy woke me up in the middle of the night with what I can only guess was hiccups. It was repetitive and went on for a good 5 mins. I thought I was dreaming I had hiccups or something

Yesterday the first person asked me if I’m expecting. It was a neighbor I see occasionally. So glad for him he was right, otherwise it would be weird seeing him around!
@kiwi2628 so great!! and pretty rare...airlines usually leave unpaid business class seats empty on overseas flights! Fella has had the middle level of elite airline status for a few years, but never the top tier, so we never qualify for upgrades abroad, just domestically. He gets so mad when he peeks at first class and sees empty seats.
Is the belly button popping out an achievement?!? Because let me tell you it is the weirdest thing to feel it get flatter and flatter on the daily and when it starts popping out it'll get even weirder! My innie is almost gone!!!
Ugh @mamabearcj my innie has been gone for a while now, and I hate it!! It feels so weird to me, and I hate seeing my belly button popping through my shirts. Definitely a pregnancy achievement I’m not happy about!
@pumpkinpancake I hate that I know it's going to be popped out soon! I took my belly button ring out early on for that reason, it looks funny poking out under shirts.
@krzyriver Mine is super deep too. It didn't pop out with DD but I could see the end of it which I could never do before! I'm curious to see what's going to happen this time as well.
Presently, it's a bottomless pit that's stretching wider. It's funny, because it kinda looks like my stomach is more of a B-shaped bump because of my like...belly button divider. Very strange.
My belly button was super deep. Its soooo shallow now. My H jokes that when it pops the baby is ready and I had to tell him thats not how it works unfortunately.
Mine is super deeeeeeep too. Like I have to use a Q-tip to clean it otherwise it can smell deeeeep. I could easily loose the Q-tip in there. It is kind of flattening but not sure that it will ever pop.

My belly button is super deep too and isn’t even close to pooping. Hope it stays that way! I decided to leave my ring in because I really couldn’t care less about the weird little bump the top part of it makes right now..
As far as accomplishments...we purchased a dresser/changing table, crib, glider, and a new sofa today! We also bought paint samples and have a few shades (not 50) of gray up on the nursery wall. AND I bought a rug using 6 gift cards (is that a record? Lol). Tomorrow we have an appointment at BBB to build up the registry, so busy, productive weekend for us!!
Out experience with bbb was awesome! We were kindly asked by so many different people (few same) if we needed any help or had questions! If you know anyone who has previously registered there you can 'refer' them and they get $25 credit. I might be willing to give up my info for $25 lol message me if you are comfortable and don't have anyone else to refer.
@jemmerjams Not sure which shade of grey you are looking for, but almost my entire house is Benjamin Moore Grey Owl. It's a great true grey that doesnt pull too much of other colors. I'm pretty obsessed with it!
Not sure if this really counts as an achievement, but got my first unwanted belly touch/tickle yesterday from one of my patients. I even had my arm across my belly to give the nonverbal “don’t touch me” signal. I backed up real quick.
Seriously people, would you touch my male colleague like that?
I have to take a break when rolling from my left side to my right side and vice versa. I roll onto my back and rest then roll onto my other side.
