@jynjer91 I love that you still loved it! Stupid app cut off my reply! We do need different reaction options. Oh the fun things our bodies due during pregnancy!
@gypsyheart85 I was in and out of my Rav all day shipping and every time I had to climb out of groan about it, can't tie my shoes unless I don't breath in either. It's great!
I still don't feel the baby move definitively, but I can absolutely feel them fucking around with my bladder. I can feel the impact of whatever body part is playing with it. Calm down in there, kid. I already have to pee every 10 seconds!

That's basically all the movement I feel too, @mytrueloves. Also, pretty strong pain on my left side under the ribs yesterday...that shit was annoying.
@mytrueloves@sliztee Same here! I keep lying in bed at night waiting to feel those movements and I haven't yet! Do feel some tugging/stretching, but nothing fluttery
All I know is that I swear I felt a bit of flutter on Monday, a full blown dance party on Tuesday, and nada sense then. I’m beginning to wonder if it was in my head.
Also- I have my anatomy scan tomorrow which is reassuring.
@knottieamusements That happened to me. I went about three days without feeling anything after feeling movement on our baby moon. Now its stronger than ever and I feel it more often. I think the baby might be too small to feel every movement right now, as soon enough we will be wanting some peace and quiet from all the kicking LOL
Me 33 DH 41 TTC since 2016 Due: October 12, 2018 Location: Ontario, Canada
@mytrueloves That's the closest to movement I feel too! Sudden intense pressure on my bladder. Sometimes pressure on other places but nothing like a 'flutter' When I went in for my appt she was looking for the heartbeat and told me every time we heard some strange noise it was baby moving around so that was cool. She said I should be feeling it anytime now, I'm so excited!
I'm officially at the point where it’s uncomfortable to bend over to clip my toenails, or put on socks and shoes. I’m not even thatttt big yet - how did I deal with this last time towards the end?!?
@mytrueloves I was just telling my coworker the exact same thing yesterday. I haven't felt movement yet, but I feel like she is taking jabs at my bladder!
Baby is wiggling up a storm! A few weeks ago, I couldn't tell if I could feel ligament stretches or baby movements, but these are def movements. DH put his hand on my stomach for a long while and even he felt a little pop!
Also, toot sneaked while laughing. Thank God DH is understanding.
Midwest Momma to be + Dog Mom to Riley, Beagle/Boxer/Snarfer Baby Blob due Oct 7! PAIF 2+ years!
This week I found that I officially take up more space in the front than I am aware of. I straight up ran into the filing cabinet after I opened it yesterday.
@cdepperschmidt I had that this week as well! Bumping into all the chairs and husband with trh belly! Lol glad I am not alone in bad spacial (sp?) awareness with a growing belly!
My first major pregnancy achievement unlocked: I puked tonight and peed my pants...outside of our hotel. We went to a night run 5k (we walked) and then they had an after party thing. I was starting to get hungry and not feel well so we left. Started puking as we walked in to the hotel and simultaneously peed my pants. Had to ride up in the elevator with a large family...I’m really hoping they couldn’t tell it was pee running down my legs. I think it’s time for bed...
Started producing colostrum today. I'm way more excited than I should be.

Behold, ladies, my birthday/mother’s day/thanks for carrying my son gift. I have the world’s coolest husband right now!!! I’ve always wanted a Kimber and now I finally have one!! So now...I know indoor is a bad idea but can I still go to an outdoor range or is that a hard no too? *TW: It’s a gun so I tried to spoiler in case. Hope it worked!
@jynjer91 congrats!! DH got me a handgun as well for the same reason but gave it to me early! I went to an outdoor range to shoot it. Wore gloves, a mask (as well as standard shooting gear) and only shot like 10 rounds. Dh loaded and cleaned it for me. We looked at lead free ammo but wasn't worth the cost. I wanted to shoot it once but now it is set aside. My midwife said go ahead and shootas people don't stop hunting but her reasoning was weak and I felt I had more info than she had so I felt it was safer to stop.
I took my concealed carry course at about 12 weeks, but it was outside. I've read that indoor is a no go, but outdoors isn't bad. However, baby can hear starting around 16w so I'd be worried about that.
If it's noise you're worried about, I had asked my OB about concerts back in the 1st tri and he didn't think it was an issue...and I listen to hard rock/metal, so it can get really loud lol. I think the amniotic fluid cushions a lot of the sound anyway?
On shooting: my OB said no go as soon as I was pregnant last time, which I've followed this time. I had asked around 10w. Prior to the appointment I did some studying and they didn't advise it after baby could hear. There's no way to muffle the sound - like you do with ear protection. Baby can't regulate sound yet, so even as your ears 'deaden' for a bit theirs can't. Lastly that the sound vibrates and intensifies in utero (low sounds, higher pitches they think are muffled,) which is also why they limit U/S unless necessary (ie medical need outweighs risk) and advise against home dopplers because people misuse them. And it's not just the what you shoot, but everyone around you who is shooting. Her biggest concern prior to the baby hearing was the recoil. Because it's different than, say running, your body doesn't really 'accustom' itself to the recoil - so it's an intense shock every time you shoot. She was most concerned about neuron development in this time and what an intense startle like that might do. I do shoot routinely, but more monthly than weekly, so she still advised against it.
There's no hard data out there last I checked - but really who is going to volunteer for a study like that and how far is too far? They have shown that women who work in loud environments have babies with higher than average hearing problems, but obviously cannot show a direct connection. And I know different OB's have different comfort zones, and In believe you should trust your OB. You picked them for a reason. Just thought I'd throw what information I have out there.
