5w3d. Kind of been worried about my lack of symptoms. My boobs have filled in a little but aren't terribly sore. I get very mild cramping just about everyday. The only real symptom I have is I am so so soooo tired. I have been sleeping like a log and even took a 3 hour nap today and I think I actually woke up feeling worse. I feel like a walking zombie. No real nausea yet...but sometimes I just feel real off/crummy.
Question - FTM here, is there a difference between rlp and just general cramping?
@flamingomomma I'm so sorry you've been having a rough time since the start! Hoping it doesn't get any worse for you!
@luckycharm324 sorry you're having nightmares! that's such a rough way to wake up! Especially when you're already dealing with exhaustion on top of it.
@nerdeebird RLP is a sharp snap type of pain...almost like there’s a rubber band that’s been snapped in there. At least that’s how I picture it. Whenever I cough and get that snap

Just came here to make sure I'm not the only one feeling nauseous already! (6w2d) With my first, I hardly had any symptoms for about the first 12 weeks, but this time around, I feel like I have a new symptom every day.
6+5, and I'm so tired, but like others, not sleeping well (mostly just can't get comfortable, as my back has been bothering me). I think that's probably playing as much a role in my crankiness as anything, honestly.
Very little appetite, and when I'm hungry not much sounds good. On the plus side, no nausea, so I can hardly complain.
Sending all good thoughts to those of you battling cramps and RLP and morning sickness. Hopefully you're just getting the toughest part of pregnancy out of the way early.
Does the pregnancy brain start right away? I’ve been ridiculously forgetful today. I forgot to buy cat food, then when I got to the pet food store and went to check out I realized I’d left my wallet at home (luckily I lived just a minute away). Earlier today, while parked at a Target, I stared at my ignition for a bit because I couldn’t remember which direction turned the car off.
The nausea and sleep issues are not going away. Totally commiserating with all of you going through this.
I've also been spotting for quite a few days now. It's on and off and never very much, always brownish. I'm trying not to worry about it too much. I called my OB and she said if it continues I can come in for an US this Thursday to check things out instead of waiting until my originally set appointment of 5/1. I should be about 6 weeks 6 days on Thursday so maybe I will take her up on it if I keep spotting. That is far enough along that I should see a heartbeat, right? The dr was concerned it would be too early to see one since I have somewhat irregular cycles, but I don't think I can be too far off in terms of EDD based on when I ovulated (I used test strips and I am pretty sure it was 3/16 or 3/17).
sorry about the spotting @kadeephd. Typically you can see a heartbeat on TVUS at about 6 weeks so unless your dates are off by more than a week you should be able to see something. Keep in mind that sometimes you can't find it until 7 or 8 weeks though so try not to panic if there isn't a HB yet.

Hi ladies. I’m 7w4d today and my boobs are prettyyyyyy sore. I have morning morning sickness every day but so far I’ve managed to only vomit twice. Whew! I don’t ever sleep through the night anymore- I wake up every couple of hours. I’m also on progesterone injections for a couple more weeks and I have lovely golf ball size knots on either side of my hips- doesn’t help with the sleeping. I nap during the afternoon because I get tired easily. It’s been quite the adjustment with my graduate school work because I can only sit hunched over a computer for an hour or so at a time. It’s all worth it though!
I was SO worried yesterday when I felt mostly great after being pretty nauseous all weekend so to ease my mind my body helped me out by giving me my worst nausea so far this morning. Oh god. Pretty awful! Work is going to be loooong today.
I am very tired and I get nauseous here and there.
@kadeephd I've also been having brown spotting on and off for the past week now. I'm going in on Thursday for an ultrasound also. My doctor doesn't seem concerned but I am going crazy! Thinking positive for both of us that its nothing!
@gracie4400 thinking positive thoughts for you too! Let us know how things go on Thursday.
I haven't had any spotting yet today. I guess if I don't have any more today or tomorrow I will wait until my original appointment on 5/1. I'd really like to go in because I'm going away to chaperone a field trip 4/25-4/29 and it would be nice to know I don't have an EP or anything before I leave, but I won't go unless the spotting comes back.
I am wondering if the spotting had anything to do with exercise. I ride my bike and I think it was mostly happening after rides. I've also read about subchorionic hematomas on other Bump month groups. Maybe that could be a relatively harmless cause of bleeding.
Im only 4+2 but I've started to feel kinda gross if I don't eat... I do have a four year old and I used to be really bad about not eating until lunch and drinking coffee all morning (I've weaned myself off since I found out last Wednesday)... but today I feel kind've "yuck"... oh man.. I don't remember it starting this early!?? I thought it was closer to 6 weeks when the nausea started
@CecilB93, @GoyaBean913 So "glad" to read this! I'm super tired too but I sleep the opposite of well. A friend of mine told me she use to sleep 12 hours straight at night during her first trimester and I was starting to wonder if something is wrong with me. I wish I could sleep better.
@samfromfrance I know what you mean! I'm only 4 +2 but I feel very tired and night then I end up having to wake up at 6am or something to pee andI am WIDE AWAKE... what the heck?
@maureenmce I did. Not severe, but enough to be annoying. The past few days I've had lower back pain on my left side, but it could be caused my me having to sleep on my side because of this maybe-cold-maybe-allergies congestion I've been having.

@PensiveCrayon Gotcha. I had the severe kind last time (I had to walk with a cane for the last couple of months and it was *incredibly* painful) but it didn't start until like, 30 weeks? But, this time I have been feeling weird twinges of lower back pain that feels different - maybe just things expanding? Relaxin doing...something? Hopefully for both of us it's just growing pains and/or, in your case, sleeping on your side. (Btw I am also super congested with the Cold that Won't End. Ugh.)
I'm about 6+4 and have been feeling pretty ok besides the fatigue and lack of motivation I used to get quite dizzy but that seems to have gone away. I never want to eat anything and the rare occasion that I am hungry nothing sounds good.ive been pretty lucky with little nausea but over the past few days it's been slowly getting worse the smell of bananas made me vomit this morning I guess it starts now (I hate vomiting so much)
@PensiveCrayon my hips are assholes during pregnancy. It’s not too early to start sleeping with a pregnancy pillow. That should help keep your Hips in line and help with the sciatic pain!
I am having this weird shooting pain just to the right of my tailbone. I only feel it when I stand up after lying down for an extended period of time. It's pretty strong and I kind of limp for a few steps until I can adjust to the pain. So, my baby is literally a pain in my ass.
I’m 7 weeks today! I.am.so.tired. I’ve been napping for a solid 2 hours with my 2 year old every single day.. but I’ve been sleeping like crap at night. Thankfully, Unisom seems to help!
Oops- I hit send too early! Other than that, my boobs are sore, I’m SUPER emotional (mainly my husband just makes me super cranky these days. Poor guy), and my sense of smell is definitely heightened. I’m craving sweets when I usually don’t crave them that much. Nausea comes and goes, but it’s super manageable which I’m really grateful for! My other pregnancies I’m super sick, so I’m hoping it stays at this level!
@orangecrush29 I know what you mean about being angry with your husband. I've been getting so frustrated with mine too. Hopefully they understand...
This may be TMI... is it normal to have gas pains? I was worried because I've been getting these pains in my abdomen, but I think they are gas pains. I'm not 100% sure though and don't know what else it could be. It's not normal for me when I'm not pregnant.
@kadeephd Are you constipated? I am and having been getting random sharp pains. They are all over the place in my abdomen and definitely followed by gas. I bet that's it.
@texas_t I wouldn't say I am constipated, but things aren't moving like normal either. What you described sounds like what is happening to me. I hope you are right!

I get this too. I also used to get this after I run. It may be just from the relaixin and the piriformis muscle - there is a piriformis muscle stretch (google it) that is simple that helps me so much. Also hip support can help if it gets too bad. I have an abdominal binder that I wore sometimes with my last 2 pregnancies. I got one from the drug store that works for me, but there are more expensive ones that are pregnancy specific. Hope some of that help you!
This nausea is sooo bad. I’ve been feeling dreadful since 6 weeks, I’m 7.5 now. We are talking all day nausea and stomach churning. I have to breath through my day to get by. Dizzy, exhausted. It was not this bad with my first. I work full time, I just can’t deal. Help
@orangecrush29 I have also been snappy with my hubby. It happens... part of me is like I’m pregnant and growing a real life person here and he needs to deal to feeling really bad and probably needing to be more self aware and give him more attention... *sigh*
@cmcintos I’m sorry you’re feeling so sick! Maybe one of those motion sickness bands people talk about could help?
Im 7 weeks today and slightly freaking out because I feel pretty normal. My nipples are only slightly sore, and I haven’t been nauseous yet! The discharge is a little extreme and have felt some rlp but that's about it!
