So I posted in the symptoms thread that I was worried about my fading symptoms, and then as the icing on the cake yesterday I went to the bathroom and had some light pink spotting when I wiped. I called the doctor and they told me it didn't sound concerning and I could either monitor at home and call back if it got worse, or I could come in and just reassure myself the baby was fine. I obviously wanted the reassurance! So I went in and they did an u/s and baby looks good- they didn't give me dates but said he/she was growing fine for dates and the heart rate was (a little high) at 191 bpm. They weren't concerned about this as the heart rate was a bit high last time too (181 bmp). They found a small subchorionic bleed between the placenta and my uterus, which was causing the spotting. They said most of the time it's nothing, sometimes it can be associated with miscarriage. So we will monitor the baby and the bleeding with a follow up u/s next week. I'm trying to stay positive!
Here is our third ultrasound! 9 weeks 6 days, measuring 10 weeks! Heartbeat was 174 again! I thought our other pics were way better. They were at our fertility doctor and this one was at my normal OB.
First one done yesterday! Thought I was 8 weeks but bean is measuring 7 weeks 1 day. Nurse said that was totally normal, everything is where it’s supposed to be and the heart rate of 169 BPM is perfect. I got a bit concerned about the discrepancy in dates but she said everything looks perfect. And just one in there! This puts a new EDD of 1/1 - am I going to get kicked out? Lol. Hearing the heartbeat was just unreal.
Heres my little one. It was moving around all over the place and we couldnt get a great pic. But i have an NT scan in two weeks so that one will he really good im told! I measured at 10+1 but im still going by LMP of 10+3 on the day the ultrasound was done. Due Dec 8!
@barnwellcrew I just wanted to say that your baby looks like a wedding ring and I think that's pretty awesome!
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

Baby looks like a baby! Sideways gummy bear the US tech referred to it as in the "shrimp phase", so we're nicknaming it shrimpy for now lol. Aren't we so nice? ;p
My name is Sydnee. Found out the day I got home from my honeymoon that I was pregnant. We had an ultrasound about a week later because of some spotting which turned out to be nothing. So this is it!
I have my first Drs visit tomorrow at almost 9 weeks. Nervous since I have had losses before. Hoping for good news and a beautiful US to post here very soon just like all of you!
I had to go in Friday for a viability ultrasound because I was having some cramping on and off all day Thursday and started bleeding Thursday night. I was 7+1 but baby measured 6+4 but he said he wasn't concerned at all. HB was 125. I have a "larger than normal" SCH that was causing the bleeding. I've been put on pelvic rest until next week when I have another ultrasound on Friday. I'm hoping to see the SCH has started to resolve itself.
I’m still in the lobby waiting for the regular appointment half, but my u/s is done. They said I can keep my LMP date (today is 8w5d) because baby was measuring close enough. EDD still 12/26. The baby was so wiggly! It’s whole body and little arm and leg nubs we’re moving around.
First look at Baby P!! This is from my dating ultrasound last week at 8w4d, due date 12/21, HR 168!!! After two MMCs, this was the relief I needed this time around. Christmas baby
Once again I was worried about my lack of symptoms for no reason. Little nugget is chugging along just fine! Second ultrasound today measuring at 11w1d but keeping my due date so I’m still considered 10w4d

Dr couldn’t get a view with the portable u/s since I have a tilted uterus. ☹️So I was referred to the hospital this Friday for the real deal. I need reassurance this baby will stick & I def don’t have that yet! Hopefully I get good news bc my bday is this weekend!
@Erinka I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. Just a few more days and you will know. Try not to stress about it (easier said than done, I know. But we've all been there)
@Erinka- did your doctor use the transvaginal u/s? I have a bicornuate uterus and my OB always has to use the transvaginal to get a good picture- especially this early in the pregnancy. Not the most pleasant experience of course, but it has worked better!
@deutschmama I bet this is my situation too. Dr didn’t have access to transvaginal u/s and that’s how I saw DD when I was early on. Also I have long cycles so baby is likely not as far along. (I really don’t want to have a Jan baby though!) Dr saw in my chart that with DD he had to move my due date ahead by 9 days!
