@jenchoo I actually fell down some stairs the other day and fell on my butt pretty hard - baby was totally fine! I think there has to be some substantial impact to the bump at this point to really do anything. But when you're  at your NT scan I'd  bring it up :) no harm!

  • @quiltandknit I think I'm going through this now. Last weekend, I was so bloaty that I looked actually pregnant, even in a maxi dress. We went on a little road trip and took some photos, and I feel like I looked pregnant just from my face! I also felt generally miserable in my tummy area all weekend. I freaked out and ordered a belly band, because I was convinced that I was going to wake up one day this week and discover I had nothing to wear.

But the last couple of days, suddenly I'm looking "normal" in my usual clothes again.

My jeans have been kind of ill-fitting since January, when I dropped some weight, so I feel like I have at least another month in them.

  • @quiltandknit and @melbo444 I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one. 11 weeks today and I feel like I’m less bloated but my pants are fitting a little better than they were even a week ago. I was starting to worry a little, but it sounds like it might be normal.

  • @acciocoffee @melbo444 @spartan4life Glad I’m not the only one! I’m 11w+4 so I guess this is the transition point. It’s just weird to be like “hey, where’d the belly go?” But I will happily take another week or two of fitting in normal pants if that’s the case!
  • @quiltandknit I'm the same too. At first I was like whoa baby #2 bump is no joke! But now bloat has settled and I don't look very pregnant anymore. I seem more on par with my belly size with #1.
  • I’m a little jealous of all you ladies losing the boat - 11+1 and I’m still all bloaty over here.

  • 1. Team full panel all the way.

    2. In the morning my bump is hard and in the afternoon it’s larger a squishiesr. Thank you bloat.

    3. Welcome back @acciocoffee !
  • Hi all, I had my 2nd obgyn appt today and the doctor did the pelvic exam but my cervix started bleeding when she first swabbed it so she couldn’t even get the Pap smear sample. She said it was normal to bleed from a Pap smear during pregnancy. Has anyone else had this happen? If it started bleeding from a small touch I can only imagine what childbirth will do!

I was sent on my way with a pad and now am appreciating that I haven’t had to worry about feminine products in a few months. Bleeding seems very minimal now so it seems like it’s clearing up as she described.
  • @acciocoffee hey!! Glad you're Back!
@rabtaido1214 I had some bleeding when I went in for my pap, she told me it was completely normal because the cervix has a lot more blood flowing through it or something along those lines. My Dr told me that my cervix was angry.. Lol but she was still able to get the swab.
  • @rabtaido1214 I think mine bleeds at almost every pelvic exam. My OB just commented on how it had been forever since I'd had a pap because I bled during every exam with DS.

  • @rabtaido1214 I also had a bit of bleeding at my exam, albeit a super small amount. Was freaking out but nurse said it didn't concern her!
  • I wish I could blame this on bloat. Instead I think baby just pushed everything up and out, so it's still mostly fat masking my enlarged uterus.
  • @rabtaido1214, I bled from my pap/cultures as well, totally normal!
  • Bigger lady here. I have the side panel, full panel, and the partial panel... I like the side panel the most right now but I also like the full panel depending on the brand. Kohls and target have been the best. I do not like the full panel because they make my belly itch after like 6 hours wearing them. The partial panel just rolls.
  • I should check out Khols this weekend. They are right next to Babies r Us, I can knock them both out.
  • Anyone use or plan on using any kind of seat belt made for pregnancy? DH wants me to get one to keep baby safe as we take road trips during pregnancy. I honestly had never heard of them before and not sure if they are needed or not.
  • @SweetSweetTooth I'd ask a cpst if those are safe... a lot of the additions to seatbelts aren't.

@hellopartyof5 that is what I was thinking... but I feel stupid asking but what is cpst?

Ugh I can't remember the acronym. But they're specialists in car seat safety, and I bet they'd know if these are safe. I'm pretty sure they aren't, but worth asking.
