@mayflower513 Several summary letters were uploaded to my health portal but no hcg results. I know they outsource it but I figured it be up by now. Lame. Next US on Friday. Praying for a visible heartbeat.
@mayflower513 sadly, the urgent care clinic doesn't have the same "level of service" as my RE's office does... you're lucky to get an explanation of your lab results! they usually just post it to the portal and mail you a letter a week later!
i'm trying to take a breath. my SIL explained that the doctors have to code the visit and the term "threatened miscarriage" is standard issue for any bleeding in the first 12 weeks. i think i read that most TMC go on to be successful.
i guess i was more worried that he was unable to measure the CRL and see HB flickers at 6+2... but i'm also trying to remind myself that every PG is different. and then my anxiety kicks and and then i'm trying to wrap my head around how much growth could really happen in a week's time... but then i remind myself, A LOT. fortunately, i've got a lot of work stuff to keep me occupied this week... so keep gestating little one, you've got a big show on Friday!!

@northbeach3 I’m sorry, I wish I had words to help you. But, I will say, A LOT can definitely happen in the matter of a few days at this stage so I am hoping with all my might that it was just a late implanter and there’s a fetal pole and strong heart beat on Friday. Hugs

@northbeach3 I'd agree that at this stage so much can happen in a week! I think every day makes a difference right now. My clinic simply refused to bring me in for u/s before the 7wk mark. I was hoping they would scan me before I went travelling but the nurse was adamant that they might not see what they expect or want during week 6 and that this is too stressful for people, so they always wait until wk7 and then they can be sure they know what's what. So definitely don't give up hope yet Can I ask if you've had more bleeding?

Thanks @roisis. Your clinics policy makes a lot of sense and is reassuring to me. I did look up growth rates and found that the fetal pole grows about 1mm each day starting at 6w and that it can be hard to see Hb before reaching 4mm (6+4). I would have been 6+2 on Monday and should be 6+6 on Friday so hoping somethings there.
Bleeding has stopped, thank goodness. Still experiencing fatigue, sore boobs, and frequent urination (+ vivid dreams) so hoping that’s a good sign. Still no updates to my patient portal about the last hcg draw. two more sleeps.
Doc doesn’t want to see me before Friday. Told me to take it easy and stay hydrated. Trying to breath and distract. Seems like amount is lessening again.

Im trying to keep my mind off my impending appt. had to take my dad in for a colonoscopy so ive been vegitating in the waiting room for the last several hours. He should be out soon and hope i can go home and nap until my appt trying to be zen. Easier said than done.
I had a sac but there was no yolk sac or anything in it. They said non viable pregnancy, but isn’t that a blighted ovum?
hcg was at 36k... they gave me the option of waiting for it to miscarry on its own, taking the medicine, or doing the surgery, so I’m doing the surgery either Monday or Tuesday. Then I have to wait til hcg is at 0 and I have a period... I can do a FET the following cycle after that... which puts me at MAYBE mid to late September?
No good news here either. Measuring a week behind and no heart beat. D&C Tues or Wed of next week.
Was more ore prepared for this one so more numb than anything. Glad to have an answer before our vacation in two weeks. Hopefully can have a mental reset before we’re back at it again.
This sucks. My heart goes out for you @mayflower513@northbeach3 and I'm so sorry this time didn't work. I can't imagine what you're both feeling right now. I HATE IF.
IF is so fucking unfair. we weren’t expecting this outcome either. This would be our 2nd loss.
Measurement: It’s a few days smaller than it should be, the yolk sac is larger than it’s supposed to be and the doctor said there’s a slight flicker of a heart but it isn’t measurable. So it may (most likely) not be viable. We’ll check again next Friday and if growth stalls then we stop all supporting meds and wait for it to pass naturally or surgically remove it for possible testing genetic/chromosome abnormality.
@mrsyng I’m so sorry to hear your update. I remain hopeful for your little bean but also understand what a sucker punch the news is. We’re all in this together. Big hugs. Keep us posted.
@mayflower513 maybe we’ll be FET buddies the next time. I’m really regretting not doing PGS testing with these embryos. Dunno how many more losses I can handle. I forget, you did a fresh transfer right? Do you have frozen embryos?

hcg was at 36k... they gave me the option of waiting for it to miscarry on its own, taking the medicine, or doing the surgery, so I’m doing the surgery either Monday or Tuesday. Then I have to wait til hcg is at 0 and I have a period... I can do a FET the following cycle after that... which puts me at MAYBE mid to late September?
I’m just so disappointed and sad.

Was more ore prepared for this one so more numb than anything. Glad to have an answer before our vacation in two weeks. Hopefully can have a mental reset before we’re back at it again.

Measurement: It’s a few days smaller than it should be, the yolk sac is larger than it’s supposed to be and the doctor said there’s a slight flicker of a heart but it isn’t measurable. So it may (most likely) not be viable. We’ll check again next Friday and if growth stalls then we stop all supporting meds and wait for it to pass naturally or surgically remove it for possible testing genetic/chromosome abnormality.
