I let out the worst rotten egg fart last night while DH and I were getting DS ready for bed. I apologized, but in retrospect, I guess I should have blamed it on DS
@lalala2004 I have just been blaming all gas on the baby as though she is already a separate being. "It wasn't me, it was her."
I am annoyed because I paid a ton to have laser hair removal and it is growing back in the bikini area. My friends warned me this could happen with pregnancy but I was hoping it wouldn't. I am just hoping it doesn't grow back on my legs or underarms.
*TTC History*
Me: 37, MH: 38; Married August 2017
TTC #1 October 2017: BFP on 12/1/2017, DD born 7/24/2018 @ 37+1 after induction due to preeclampsia
TTC #2 January 2020: AMA, dx with DOR in May 2020
IVF July 2020: 16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 12 fertilized, 3 blasts, 2 PGT-A normal
FET 10/7/20: BFP on 10/12/20!!! (EDD 6/25/21); First beta 10/16/20 (9dpt): 148; Second beta 10/19/20 (12dpt): 621; Third beta 10/26/20 (19dpt): 4732; Fourth (and final!) beta 11/2/20 (26 dpt): 22,000+
When I wake up in the middle of the night, the gas is like painfully built up in me and I explode like a popped balloon. It usually wakes DH up. Oh well.
@legallykate I invested in one of those at home lasers purchased from Sephora. I have pcos and am one hairy lady. It works amazing. Seriously so worth the money. I've done pro laser treatments and this works just as well. I find it a little less painful and I can do it whenever and how often I want. Totally recommend
I really miss the time when I couldn’t poop, now it’s all the time and my butt hurts!! Also +1 for the horrible gas and peeing basically every time I sneeze. Isn’t being pregnant glamorous?!?
H had to rescue me out of the shower the other night. I got lightheaded and tunnel vision like I was going to pass out, turned the water off and sat down and started bawling mid-panic that it would happen when I'm home alone with DD. He had to physically pick me up and haul me out of the tub. To be fair, last pregnancy I did pass out in the shower and hit my head on the railing but... yeah. Maybe a touch dramatic.
I'm jealous of all you ladies who can fart. Mine take some serious straining action and my guts hurt basically all of the time. Also I pee a little every time, so there's that. Yay!
@mrslittlemac oh the dizziness! I've had that happen before too, it's awful and scary. I'm sorry you had to deal with that Once I started drinking coffee again my pooping became more normal. I consider that a win
@mrslittlemac Have you tried the yoga poses that are helpful for gas? I remember a group of us last BMB did them. It was weird and not quite painful, but it helped so much!!
My TMI is that I haven't changed chonies every day lately. I've had so much discharge that I just swap liners and call it good.

I had some painful gas yesterday and felt like I had to poop so I went to sit on the toilet. Pushed painfully for a while and finally pooped, but then the flood gates opened and I had insane diarrhea. It was not fun! Thankfully it didn’t happen again.

@legallykate I have thick dark hair and it grew back after layering my bikini area, but it grew in less thick at least. I'm getting my bikini and underarms waxed next weekend and I Can. Not. Wait.
I've been so hairy since I got pregnant. My aesthetician actually commented on how my eyebrows have been growing back so much more quickly. That was one of the first things that made me suspect it was a boy- the OWT says if you get hairier with a boy.
Meanwhile, after three days of feeling great, I am unbearably constipated/gassy again. I suppose I will be getting a super leafy salad for lunch.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
Insomnia bumping right and have a late contribution. I needed a full bladder for my AS and drank enough water to fill er up then realized I had to take a massive dump.
Do you know how hard it is to go #2 without going #1 too?? Not possible in my case.
So I got lucky they were running behind in the radiology Dept. So I could rehydrate while waiting.
MY NIPPLES HURT!! I seriously came home from work last night, threw on some pj pants, and sat on the couch topless because I can't stand anything touching them right now.
+1 on the pooping situation. I haven't taken a dump in about 3 days now.
I feel like that scene in Juno where she's telling her parents she's pregnant... "I have heartburn radiating in my kneecaps, and I haven't taken a dump since Wednesday.... morning!"
I finally was able to poop this morning before work and it was life changing. I was in so much pain before that when I woke up. Thank you, squatty potty!

So I forget who I was discussing this with in another thread so I am really sorry but my Dr. said that feeling pressure in the vagina area while trying to go could be because of constipation. That's never been one of my symptoms, but thought I would share that knowledge.
We had been discussing the feeling like your vagina is going to fall out while pooping, kind of the same feeling as if you were giving birth.
I realized yesterday that I've been so distracted by DD's crankiness that I have no clue when I last took a significant poo. Buying some stuff today to resolve that...
After I healed last time I wasn't really sensitive from the 3rd degree tear except during sexytime the first few times. But dang, pregnancy pooping has me wondering if everything down there is going to rip back open again
@scottishlass1213 It was me! Thanks for sharing. Definitely makes sense for me. And also, @livinthesunnylife that's basically how I'd describe the feeling I have when I poop. It's like needing to give birth and my vagina is going to completely burst open again. Argh, I'm dreading tearing again. I couldn't sit normally for like 3 months.
After four days, I finally poo'd! It took forever, since I was trying to not strain/push to get it out, and it still hurt. I don't know how you all do this, or how often "normal" people experience this. I have never in my life been constipated, ever. I've always been a "fast mover" and I'd be in there for less than 5 minutes and I was done. And one week without Metformin and yeah.
I suddenly feel bad for my hens laying large eggs every day.
@calimom2524 I'm definitely hoping this is how it goes for me this time around. And maybe this one will fall out sooner than 41+5, kthanksbye.
I was induced with DS2 so I don't know what my history really looks like with going into labor as I've only done it once on my own. DS2 was so ready to come out though they didn't even have time to break down the bed. This one better come out on her own and easily.
I also had better experiences with kid #2. But I think a lot of it was having more reasonable expectations/knowing everything wouldn't last forever. It also helped that #2 wasn't colicky. And has a more easy going temperament than my first.
But I did tear with both Baby 1 was almost 9lbs and baby 2 was almost 10lbs so that might be the reason though...
Fingers crossed for this kid just falling out and hopefully having a better temperament than my DS does. No shame, he’s going through a hitting phase...
@calimom2524 Everything you tell me about Kid2 (no tearing, better milk production, etc.) has me over here all giddy. Yay Kid2!
Haha same. I’m so hopeful for better milk production!
I’m terrified about tearing this time though, because DS was only 30 weeks, so his giant head was still smaller than a normal newborn. Not looking forward to another giant headed baby if he’s (hopefully) full term!
