  • @fatstagnation I guess she can't take an anti-anxiety med before flying? That's what I have to do. I'm sorry y'all are dealing with this but you did everything you could!

  • Super random: I keep trying to stay loose by rolling around with my upper body on the labor ball but it hurts my boobs to lay on it. I love how it feels on my lower back so I’m annoyed my boobs have to hurt when I try to stretch it out.
  • My 2yo DS is sick so of course he woke up at 12:30am, and so did Emma. Still trying to get them both back to sleep and it’s almost 2am. Ugh. Also, I have a migraine. Tonight sucks and I needed to complain, sorry lol
  • @BrittnieMariee - sorry to hear that! I’ve definitely been there. Hang in there! Hopefully you can catch a nap tomorrow.
  • Random question: anyone else still having trouble fitting their wedding band? Baby is almost 2 weeks old, my fingers are still swollen. I'm lacking patience or I need to resize?
  • Crossing my fingers that things will start soon for you @paigew123!
  • @StephBrim24 thank you! He finally fell back asleep at 3:45, just in time for Emma to wake up again for a feeding. Yayyyy lol definitely hoping to get a nap later on!!

@nancysimp this time I could fit back in my rings by 2 weeks PP, but after I had my son I couldn’t fit them, ever. I gained more with him and swelled so badly after my cesarean.
  • @nancysimp I don't think I could get them in with DD until a month or two post partum. I had a lot of water retention from the IV and it was September-so hot and a bit humid. I'd give it more time if they fit well prebaby.

  • @becausescience good luck today!
  • @maelily15 How exciting your baby will be here tomorrow! I hope you can adjust to the change in birth plan--that's a lot to process in a short amount of time. I hope you're able to enjoy your evening, and good luck tomorrow! I hope everything goes smoothly.
  • @maelily15 sorry about her flipping breech, but it's exciting you get to meet your baby tomorrow!
  • Good luck tomorrow @maelily15
  • Good luck, @paigew123!! I hope everything goes well for you, and I'm looking forward to your update!
  • Good luck @paigew123 !
@maelily15 I've also got a breach C coming up. It's a bit frustrating after all the prep we did for unmedicated delivery, but it truly is what's best for both mom and baby. I hope you're feeling ok about such a sudden change of plans. I'll be thinking of you!

  • Hi everyone! I'm enjoying reading all these posts. I'm a FTM and reading every thing makes me feel more calm when thinking about labour. So thanks!

I'm due on the 31st! Yesterday I had an appointment and doc said I was 3cm dilated and lost my mucus plug. I was so shocked. I didn't even realize it came out lol. I know I can be pregnant for another 2 weeks but my family thinks I'll pop any second and they keep messaging for updates haha.

I kept reading stories of people who were also 3cm lost plug without contractions and how long it took them to go into labour. Everyone had a completely different experience so I'm anxious to see what's going to happen with me.

  • @paigew123 good luck!  How did the doctor know you had meconium? Did your water break?
  • @paigew123 good luck and happy baby day!

@maelily15 that’s a lot to process quickly but you get to meet baby soon! Praying everything goes smoothly!

@paigew123 - Happy Birth Day!! Wishing you a smooth and healthy delivery!

@maelily15 - Enjoy your evening and wishing you a a smooth & healthy delivery!   Even though it’s not like you imagined at the end you’ll be snuggling the sweetest thing!
  • Good luck @paigew123! @fatstagnation, I hope yours goes well also! I’m adjusting as well as can be expected I think. It helps that it has always been a possibility to have a C but now it’s a certainty and not under emergent circumstances. I know that sounds crazy but it puts my mind a little at ease because I feel a little more prepared.
  • Thanks ladies! We’re still waiting....our little bundle is taking a LONG time to come!
@DDRRT1982 he saw it on the sonogram today! Appearantly he was able to tell that the water was foggy. When he broke my water earlier he confirmed he was right.
  • @paigew123 I had no idea they could tell that by a sonogram.  That's can be really great information to have.  I am really sorry it's taking a while. Thinking of you.
