It’s so frustrating! I waited two weeks for my first round with 5 embryos and then only a week my second round with 2 embryos being tested! Hopefully the results come back soon!! How long have you been waiting?
@mcgeeva Don't feel like a PITA, that's their job to answer your questions and be there for you My results were back in a week, but think because my doctor called due to our FET consult to have them rushed. My other gf, it took her's 2 weeks for results. Sounds like you should be getting close to getting them back, but email the nurse and ask. Can't hurt anything!

ndz2018 ugh seems so long. And my nurse couldn't confirm what day they sent my samples out. My doctor said last Monday the latest would be last Thursday but my nurse Friday said today but didn't really know. But come on!! I know the place is in NY and it says 12 hours to do the test. So yes im being totally impatient. With three baby showers in April and first of may I need to have a plan to keep me going.

Hey hey.... just checking back in. I finally ovulated, so I start microdose Lupron next Monday (3/26). Picking up the rest of my meds today and was also told i'll be using a third antibiotic.... wth??? I will ask my doc about it next week as I just don't have the energy to think about it this week. I have my niece in town for the week and I'm already exhausted Shes 19 and brought a friend and they are sweet and energetic LOL... I need a nap
@mcgeeva. I bet you will get them tomorrow or Wednesday! The waiting game sucks! Yesterday my husband just looks at me and says will you just have a baby already. Haha. The waiting I think has been more torture for him but I’m getting antsy too. Sooooo sorry about the baby showers. You are a WAY better person than me. I stopped going to baby showers years ago.
J1006 yeah im sure bc men are pretty helpless. Can't really do that much to help the situation but listen to us complain. My husband always complains - your on the blogs again?!! I mean he has sports center up his butt so really it's all the same Yeah my patience with people is pretty thin these days with showers. I will NOT be hosting a single one after this. I have hit my max with baby events. I started buying baby items for people then I just stop. I have a neighbor having her forth boy give me attitude asking....is your huband okay with you doing the PGS/and IVF - it's playing with god. GURLLLLLLLL please...you got knocked every time naturally you haven't a damn clue. None of this shit is natural at this point and end of day god still gives us what we get even with all the treatments in the word. Eat me

@mcgeeva Girl we are in the same boat! My husband is always asking "who are you talking to"?? While he's addicted to Sports Center and every sports game on tv. Also, my MIL also was questioning us doing PGS. She said if naturally, we couldn't test, etc. I wanted to say STFU...we are the only kids in the family struggling. Lord some people, I swear.

Yeah people don't get it. I'm from a strict catholic family and I do not practice except for xmas which really doesn't count and you know all this crap is against it. Again if we did nothing none of us would ever have kids. Shit I am Soooooo happy we weren't doing this 30 years ago. We would of been screwed And now my child is yelling at me to wipe his butt lol...all while attempting to work. Working hard for that money! Hope my company isn't counting key strokes lol.

Just chiming in here. My H isn't a sports fan, but likes video games. Sometimes he'll be playing and he'll ask me what I'm doing, and he'll see me on TB. He calls it: "Trip-T-C." Like TTTC. So: "Oh, I see. Talking to your trip-T-C friends."
@mcgeeva - 100% on the no sympathy back or the backhanded compliment. So many people I know haven't ever struggled with anything, not really.
I read this quote the other day, and I really agreed with it. It's by the writer Ann Patchett:
The trouble with good fortune is that people tend to equate it with personal goodness, so that if things are going well for us and as well for others, we think they must have done something to have brought it on themselves. We speak of ourselves as being blessed, what but what can that mean except that others are not blessed, and that God has picked out a few of us to love more? It is our responsibility to care for one another, to create fairness in the face of unfairness, and to find equality where none may have existed in the past.
The first part stuck with me - about people equating good fortune with personal goodness. I know so many people like that. Or rather, I know a few people like that, but even one feels like too many!
@funkykey lord gaming can be just as bad or worse. I remember my bf in college that would play games 24 hours straight with friends. Both gaming and sports I don’t get how people are that passionate about they freak out when they lose etc.
Great quote. Sadly I have always thought that way. I’m a bit of negative Nancy. Felt I always had crappy luck and give 100% to everyone important in life and always wonder what I could of done when things don’t work out. People always say I’m too nice but they you think well that’s stupid too. Be mean and good things happen? So not really sure why some people have more luck then others. The only thing I can agree on some days is... even if I don’t see it today is god gives us what we can handle. I won’t agree with that on a bad day but maybe a year later I will see that I (we ladies) are stronger then others. Not everyone can handle this shit or other crappy situations in life.

mcgeeva ive no clue what I could possibly need 3 antibiotics for! I mean, maybe shes switching one out? I will ask next week. I don't get the point at all. One is vaginal and I have read they are used commonly by some clinics so that they don't unintentionally transfer germs even though the transfer catheter should be sterile... My last transfer (which worked, but i miscarried) we didn't do any of this stuff. Also, why on earth would your neighbor ask such a rude question. CLEARLY he is ok with it since he has to provide genetic material for the process. Also.. why do people think this is so odd? Are we playing god when we breed dogs? Are we playing god when we cross pollinate our roses? SO stupid!! Its not like you are using chickpea DNA to make a plant-human hybrid! SO DUMB! ndz2018 Yaaaas! Is today CD1??? Or tomorrow? My hubs is grateful for my "internet friends" because I don't have to fill his ears with all the overflow of infertility talk
And I think maybe guys just like to have something to be absorbed into... my hubs doesn't do sports or games, but hes super into antique hifi and he can sit and look at that stuff online for hours and hours... its the same thing... like they just get super involved to the exclusion of anything else at that moment... maybe its a Y chromosome thing.
@mcgeeva - just re-reading your earlier post more closely: I have a neighbor having her forth boy give me attitude asking....is your huband okay with you doing the PGS/and IVF - it's playing with god.
Some people are so ignorant! You know, after 2 failed transfers, I think about how much pain I could have saved myself if I'd paid for PGS. At the time, we thought I was young so that maybe our chances of bad embryos were low, but now that I've been through 2 bad embies (they think), I wish I'd paid for PGS. The last failed transfer was like having my heart ripped out of my chest. I'm still a zombie from it.
Felt I always had crappy luck and give 100% to everyone important in life and always wonder what I could of done when things don’t work out. People always say I’m too nice but they you think well that’s stupid too. Be mean and good things happen? So not really sure why some people have more luck then others.
Ugh. I'm someone who has had really good and really bad luck. Like, 3-4 really wonderful things have happened to me, and sometimes I cannot believe how lucky I am. But then I've had a few strokes of really bad luck, and it BLOWS. IF is definitely one of those things. Sometimes I think being born a woman is one of those things, too. I love being a woman, but sometimes being valued less by society at large really grates.
A while ago I read about girls in juvenile detention systems - so many of the crimes they're punished for are so much more minor than the crimes the boys are punished for. There's so much pressure on women to be "nice" or to not get angry, or to not express their anger in certain ways. When you said about being too nice, I thought about that - like, there's so much pressure to be a "good girl" and all it does is put you in a position where you have less power, and then people take advantage of you. Pay you less for your work, etc. Makes me so mad, and I wish it weren't that way!
And I wish I had fewer crappy situations to handle all around! ;-P
@dragonette505 - And I think maybe guys just like to have something to be absorbed into... my hubs doesn't do sports or games, but hes super into antique hifi and he can sit and look at that stuff online for hours and hours...
Hahaha. Uh-oh. My H recently acquired a ham radio. He hasn't set it up yet, but now I am worrying... Am I going to be a ham radio widow?
dragonette505 yeah let us know what you find out about the antibiotic. I guess they want to cover all basis so the body holds that baby. Yeah people are idiots. Can't talk to stupid. Antiques is so random. Does he go out hunting stuff down??
funkykey you know what you live and learn. I wanted to take out just a little more of the chance of miscarriage if possible which is why I did the pgs also. Eh your right about the good girl thing. Same goes for work. The harder you work the more you get crapped on. Maybe not in every situations but every job I have had I have always been given numerous roles "because I can handle it" but in the end you feel screwed. Sometimes it does look like the bitchy/cut throat people get ahead. But what can you do. I always tell myself..at the end of the day I will always know I did everything I could in regards to friendships, my kids, my marriage etc.

@dragonette505 Today is 100% CD1 I go In thur morning for blood work and ultrasound. As long as it all checks out we’ll start the process. Looking like my tentative transfer date will be April 8th but that could change.
@funkykey I wouldve set my neighbor straight .. she’s got nerve! I would’ve said .. no he doesn’t have a problem with PGS testing but it sounds like you might! People are ignorant.
Hi Ladies! So, my doctor suggested we try a daily Lupron injection instead of the once a month long-acting shot so that I can stop the injections if I have any bad side effects with my migraines. I thought it was a decent compromise so I'm going to go that route since it seems like this protocol really is the best for endo. So, looks like I'll be transferring in May instead of April. I'm having a hard time giving up my last shot at a 2018 baby this month, but hopefully shutting down the endo for a couple of months will do the trick. I hope April has a 100% grad rate and you all get to blow this popsicle stand GL!!!

funkykey LOL... as he's talking to Australian truckers on the ham set and youre buying one of your own to talk to him!. I text my husband pictures of speakers just to get his attention LOL mcgeeva I will let y'all know. The doxycycline I was told can help reduce systemic inflammation (so your body will be calmer I guess?) the metrogel is the vaginal one and I was just given Cipro which I feel like is a super strong one... I have no infections and it just seems super extra to me, but i'll ask next week. My hubs is always on line looking for stuff from all around the world. He also buys stuff and restores things to resell for more money (so its a bit of a side hustle business). The people who come buy the stuff are just as addicted as him! lol ndz2018 that's so crazy soon!!! less than 3 weeks! tosh24 AWWW sux having things delayed, even a little while. I'm doing microdose Lupron daily as well. I used to get bad migraines, but they are not as frequent as yours seem to be. I didn't notice any problems with the Lupron (but then again I was taking it with follistim with it at the time, which probably raised my estrogen) so hopefully the micro dose will work for you!!!
@mcgeeva So dont laugh at me but I put My Tentative FET Date into a FET calculator online and that it’s a 5 day frozen transfer and says the due date is Christmas Day lol so its right at the very end of 2018 but by chance it doesn’t work out we’ll be in 2019 too .
Wait am I a complete idiot??? @ndz2018 maybe my math sucks. I figured if I transfer end of April I will be due February some time. I just looked now...I'm slow yet my job is looking at dates all day lol

On the way to transfer yesterday he was telling me all about his phone case and how they did a drop test from this many feet and it survived and more feet and it survived. Kevlar. Then he started telling me how we could get my sister, mom, and dad one for Christmas. No, honey. In the waiting room before the procedure he made me hold it and notice "it's weight and heft." LOL better that than porn or strip clubs I guess. Silly boys!
So of course we have a winter storm about to dump 12-18 inches of snow on the tristate area today into tonight and my first morning monitoring app is tomorrow morning and I have To be there between 6-730am. They said they will be open no matter what.
@greenhillgirl that’s so totally random! My husband’s newest thing is anything to help him run better! The outfit, the shoes you name it. Let’s see if he’s still running a minth from now

I wish It was this morning! There was no snow when I got up today, but it’s for tomorrow morning. apparently it’s supposed to start dumping snow shortly and throughout the night till like 4am.

Crying! Lol I also think men like random information. My hubs knows all kind of ish I don’t care about. My teen aged niece is visiting and my husband was trying to tell her some stuff about the city that only a man could care about. Why?!? But I think it’s how they are wired. Sometimes I let him tell me stuff (like how a bridge was built or whatever) because I know it makes him happy! You should hear my hubs talk about how the grooves in a record are made! Lololol ol

Not everyone can handle this shit or other crappy situations in life.

ndz2018 Yaaaas!
I have a neighbor having her forth boy give me attitude asking....is your huband okay with you doing the PGS/and IVF - it's playing with god.
And I wish I had fewer crappy situations to handle all around! ;-P
And I think maybe guys just like to have something to be absorbed into... my hubs doesn't do sports or games, but hes super into antique hifi and he can sit and look at that stuff online for hours and hours...
Hahaha. Uh-oh. My H recently acquired a ham radio. He hasn't set it up yet, but now I am worrying... Am I going to be a ham radio widow?
funkykey you know what you live and learn. I always tell myself..at the end of the day I will always know I did everything I could in regards to friendships, my kids, my marriage etc.

mcgeeva I will let y'all know. The people who come buy the stuff are just as addicted as him! lol
ndz2018 that's so crazy soon!!! less than 3 weeks!
tosh24 AWWW sux having things delayed, even a little while.
@dragonette505 YAY You’ll be right after me
@mcgeeva So dont laugh at me but I put My Tentative FET Date into a FET calculator online and that it’s a 5 day frozen transfer and says the due date is Christmas Day lol so its right at the very end of 2018 but by chance it doesn’t work out we’ll be in 2019 too .
