Sleep isn't restful. I'm feeling first tri exhaustion again and I hate it.

The heartburn has started The last 2 nights I’ve woke up with acid in my throat/mouth. It’s so awful, waahh! I remember it second tri last time too but strangely got better for me third tri. I guess tums will be my best friend now *sigh*..
Agreed @dinodna3 - having the littles wake up during the night when you're not sleeping well anyway is the worst. Our Sept14 kid is sleeping pretty well at the moment (knock on wood, he goes through phases), but our May13 kid wants DH to sleep in his bed every night as he's having nightmares. DH tries to come back into our room after DS1 falls asleep, but then DS1 wakes up and freaks out and wakes up everyone yelling for Daddy to come back. Sigh. This needs to stop before baby comes.

Same on the heartburn...it isn't bad yet...but it got real bad with DD1 in the 3rd tri...what is strange though is I don't feel it unless DD1 wakes me up in the middle of the night and not until I'm upright...which is what is supposed to make it better...
DD1 woke up last night crying and asked for a bottle...had a panic attack when I offered her water instead. I'm like wtf...you haven't had a bottle since the day you turned 1...and haven't had one in the MOTN for about a year...what is this?!?! Took an hour to get her back down...this can't be a new thing or I'll loose it.
Yes on the heartburn. This just started for me and it is always triggered by chocolate! NOOOOOO! I just use a tums chaser for now.
Props to you ladies doing this with kiddos waking up in the middle of the night. Between the pain, peeing, heartburn or whatever else is keeping me up, adding a kid waking up has got to be so exhausting.
You guys, my vagina, pelvis, ligament, bone, whateverTF it is just keeps getting worse. I need to go see PT or a chiropractor, but again; lazy. How bad can it hurt if I'm willing to do nothing about it? Pretty bad. But the thought of going to another appointment on the regular has me just suffering through it. I'm sorry in advance that I will complain about my vagina for the next 5 months and probably for 3 months after that too. The vagina saga continues...
@amys614 The vag pain is no joke. I think this early on that it's your body's way of preparing you for lightning crotch, which may come to you closer to delivery. I haven't had nearly as much heartburn as with previous pregnancies, but the sleeping discomfort is hitting me hard. DS has been waking in the middle of the night, restless, so that doesn't help. I cannot get comfortable, at all. I'm a side-sleeper normally, but staying on one side all night is nearly impossible.
Heartburn is here with a vengeance. And headaches are still killing me! I've actually been sleeping pretty well for that last two weeks and my urge to pee every two minutes has subsided for the time being so I've only been getting up like once a night to pee. Still feeling the vag pressure. I asked my OB at our last appointment if it was normal and she said that she sees it early on in pregnancy with STM's+ because the muscles there never really come back together after they've been stretched out from a prior pregnancy and so it almost sags down from the weight of baby and extra fluid, etc. She recommended kegels!
I feel like I need a kegel support thread just like the water thread, but then again I'm failing the water challenge, so.... not sure it would actually help...
@doxiemoxie212 I need an app. Our Bradley instructor said to make something your kegel thing. Like every time you send a text do 10 kegels or when you're stopped at a red light. But I still forget. I have actually been ok at the water. I hit it again yesterday but I didn't post it.

I deeply regretted not doing kegels after DS was born. +1 for the kegel support thread, @doxiemoxie212, even though I, too, am failing at water consumption
Yes on the heartburn here too!! Not only that, I think I have SPD and have been dealing with it for over a month now before finally going to the Chiro last week. I tweaked it pretty bad yesterday grocery shopping and felt the pain all last night and this morning before my 2nd appt. it feels a lot better now. Still hurts but it’s more bearable. But omg the pain I feel from this just doing something as simple as putting on pants, turning from one side to the other in the middle of the night or sometimes just walking hurts
Any SPD ladies out there that have any tips to help with the pain or things to avoid irritating it more.

Not really a MOTN post since it's not even midnight, but that pain below my ribs is back and hurting worse than before. I really wish I hadn't googled it because I'm now so worried about preeclampsia. Tomorrow is my Monday and I have a Dr appointment next week, but I can't stop worrying. Idk. I need to go to sleep.

@harveyabbey77 - yes to the vag pressure! I remember in 3d tri feeling like I was so sore / being repeatedly kicked in the vag, but it has started already. Even sitting on the toilet puts so much pressure on my vag.
I took prenatal yoga with DS and during the class, the instructor used to make us all do kegals. I found it so awkward to sit in a room with a bunch of other people, staring at the instructor / in a mirror, doing kegals. But Ireally need to be better about them since I can't walk and cough without peeing myself now.
In my last bmb we had a weekly thread just for complaining, haha.
I decided to pick up all of DS's toys in the living room and play room this morning and I got so winded bending over. I was breathing hard like I'd been exercising. I feel like I went from no discernible bump to full blown bump overnight. I'm going to have to get a second grabber tool for downstairs toy pick up.
Still having the nausea and vomiting. Make it stopppp...otherwise I just get short of breath doing most anything. And I'm starting to wonder when it'll be too much work to put socks and shoes on? Lol.
+1 on heartburn. I have tried keeping dinner really simple, like just a banana, but the heartburn still makes its appearance as soon as I'm in bed. I swear this was a 3rd trimester delight the last time...??!!
Yes to lack of sleep! And so sorry to those of you with nausea.
TW for abdominal pain and previous loss. Idk how to do a spoiler on mobile. Lmk if this isn’t sufficient and I’ll delete. . . .
I had horrible cramps on Saturday, like to the point of tears, for about 20 min. I figured it was round lig pain, but I also panicked bc I’ve experienced miscarriage. I took it easy. Today, I’ve had lesser cramps and some brown spotting, plus a headache and dizziness/fatigue so I called the OB. They can get me in Thursday, and I’m actually comforted that they didn’t ask me to come sooner. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is this a regular symptom for some? I’m experiencing a lot of anxiety and feel like it’s connected.
also, if you’ve read this and any of my other recent posts, I promise I’m not a fake person or a drama queen. There’s a lot going on over here!
@pupsicle23 have you tried prenatal yoga to help with the anxiety? I really enjoy the “me” time and my instructor really focuses on areas where we are sore. Try to get some rest and take it easy.
The tiredness has come back for me. I’m constipated and still having to pee every five minutes.
@elsie42 +1 to the gas also. Dear gawd I may peel paint!! LMFAO
@chartermama I got some apple sauce and snack bars that are high in fiber, seems to have helped me.
Got tums because the indigestion some days sucks. I got the 'chews' because I'm a princess.
Last night got a horrible foot cramp randomly as I was coming up the stairs. Basically used everything between the stairs and the couch to try and move without stepping. I have never gotten a foot cramp so I was kinda freaking out. OMFG Hurt so much!! My husband had to help me out to stretch it out - I couldn't stretch my leg far enough to pull it back lol - and he massaged the spot a little to work the tense muscle so I wasn't in horrible pain
I feel the swelling coming on...ugh. My shoes and rings are snug today. Time to dig out my arch support inserts from last time...gah. As I eat left over lo mein...full of salt...whatevs.
@kmurdock925 I'm a FTM but I am haunted by the images of my coworkers swelling from a few months ago before she gave birth to her beautiful 11 pound (aaahhhh) baby boy.
Last night I noticed my rings were a little tight and I had slight indentations where my socks were. Nothing too bad but all I could think was "oh sh%t"
@amys614- oh yeah. My swelling was brutal last time. If I wore socks with a pattern on them you could see the pattern in my foot. I lived in sandals all summer so it is concerning to me that this is starting in the winter when I def need boots. I wore my rings on my pinkie finger for several months (and several weeks after baby).
I went to the grocery with baby and no rings...cause water retention...and a lady stopped me and said that if she could do it I could do it (implying I was a single mom because I didn't have rings on). What she had said didn't even click until she was long gone but I was left scratching my head. 1) why would anyone say that...I'm sure she had good intentions, but still...2) DH was deployed so I was doing a damn good job on my own...and 3) anyone who has had a baby knows that there is a good chance rings/clothes wont fit for a while after giving birth.
