  • It makes me feel so much less alone to hear everyone else’s symptoms. Whoever said all-day stomach hangover—that’s totally me. I’m so so tired, headache, upset stomach, lightheaded, and just overall feel terrible. I know I should try to eat small meals, but I’m not really hungry, and that makes it worse. I just want to curl up on the couch and sleep for like 4 weeks when I hit second tri. And to top it off I have to fly out to the east coast for a work trip Monday-Thursday of next week. Blah. Thanks for letting me complain! Hoping everyone else feels better soon as well!
  • jomama1618  yes I have insomnia - and RLS.  It sucks and not sure what to do about it. Anyone have success with these issues?

  • Guys the diarrhea is awful. I guess it’s better than nausea but I didn’t think I’d have to deal with it this time around since I’m off metformin. This is like the 4th day in a row  :s

  • Who was talking the other day about tailbone pain? What causes that this early on? Mine was aching so bad by the time I got home last night I had to take a Tylenol PM to sleep, and now I feel groggy AF.

It’s relaxin. It makes your joints more likely to get out of place.

  • @legallykate yeah seeing one will probably help. Though, if you haven't been in a while, you will probably be sore from the adjustment. I'm avoiding mine because of flu season lol.
  • I forgot to mention that I have discovered preggie pops- I got them at Target but they can also  be found on amazon. Sorry if someone else already mentioned it and I missed it! For those that maybe dont want to do the diclegis rout or are not THAT bad- these really help with nausea. They are slightly sour and have alot of B6. They have been really helpful for me when eating a bit or bread or citrus doesn't help.
  • Ugh. I thought I was doing better, but I’ve been gagging for the last 2 days. Today I threw up about 6 times in a row right after lunch. On the plus side, throwing up apparently got a lot of mucous out of my system because I’m breathing normally for the first time in 2 weeks. But now I just feel sick to my stomach and have no energy. Sitting on the couch watching tv is making me tired.
  • I’m freaking exhausted and so dizzy today. And hungry but nothing sounds good. DS and I have had a pajama day.

@melprop that sounds awful! Hope you start feeling better and that everyone Else does too! Come on second trimester!
  • @jchpg I was so excited for what I thought were pregnancy popsicles—alas, they are not :( ha
  • @jchpg I've been looking at those, but I've been hesitant to buy them. It says the flavoring is from essential oils and I don't feel well-informed enough about essential oils to feel safe taking something with them, especially at only 6w5d.

On that note.. my chiro scolded me for waiting too long after giving birth to come in and get adjusted. Apparently my hips didn't come back together the way they're supposed to. Hoping to get that fixed after this next LO is born.

  • @hardlyhannah I was just coming to say that!  The digestive issues this time are way different than with my first.  I go from no appetite to starving to nauseous to urgent must poop right now.  And seriously ladies, you know when someone in the bathroom is waiting for you to leave so they can poop.  Hurry the F up and get out.  I'm dying.
  • Who else was it with all of the farting? I seriously cannot stop farting and I feel bad for my friend who has to share a bed with me this weekend.

  • +1 to the chiropractor! I’ve regularly seen one for years, but it was a life saver with my first pregnancy! I had horrible right hip pain and headaches. I will continue seeing her through this one, too, and definitely after birth! I’ve already been a few times and it has helped with the headaches and RLP.

This is me right now. I feel nauseous or I’m hungry and stuffing my face, there is no in between. I’m also in bed so early every night, I crash after I put DS to bed!

  • @lolog531 & @Funnygirl34 this is exactly how I have felt for weeks too. So many food aversions as well.

I have also been having awful sciatic nerve pain. I’ve never seen a chiro before but I think I might give it a try. I wasn’t expecting this already at 10 weeks!

  • I’ve been nauseous for a week now. I thin Diclegis is helping more then the unisom and B6, tomorrow I can take an extra during the day and fx that helps even more. The only down fall is my insurance doesn’t cover it so my office is trying to tell them it’s needed. We will see, even if it’s not covered, if it helps I may end up paying out of pocket for it.

  • Thanks for the preggie pop drop suggestion! They’re working!
  • I think I'm a bit less tired this week, however my nausea is worse than ever - I'm over 11 weeks, it totally should be on it's way out I would think! Or at least not ramping up now after being pretty mild this pregnancy compared to the others.

Is anyone not having breast tenderness? It seems so odd that I’m not, but they don’t hurt at all. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my boobs are sad little sacks after breastfeeding two kids. Like, since there is so little tissue there, they aren’t sore?

I really didn’t have any until this week (9 weeks) and definitely had more last pregnancy.

  • @calimom2524 I had all the farting between Christmas and New Year's when I was 8-9 weeks. It seems to have eased up for now, but the nausea is worse. I threw up all day yesterday, and had a terrible headache behind my right eye. I seriously felt binge drinking hung over. Today has been much better do far.

I’m not having any tenderness either and thought it was odd. I remember having that with all 3 of my girls. I just stopped nursing my 2 year old so I also wondered if it was related. They don’t look any bigger yet either which I feel like I had in past pregnancies already.

  • @F47 I’m 9w4d and I have only just now started having mild tenderness. With DD I wasn’t already in a bigger bra at this point and my boobs hurt insanely bad, so I’m just thanking my lucky stars that hasn't really happened yet this time.
  • This is my second pregnancy- so I know cramps are par for the course- but holy cramps, batman! I have been crampy all day long.

Are they normally a constant thing, as if you are on your period? Wondering if I just forgot this lovely symptom being so constant. I kinda rember it being intermittent.
