Hope you ladies don’t mind me starting a new thread. I took a little break from posting since my lap on 12/8, but I’m ready to re-enter digital TTCAL society.

Status: lap on 12/8 removed endo and several little cysts. He also did a hysteroscopy and my ute looks fine. We took some time off after that and AF should start today or tomorrow. RE is now saying that endo will come back, possibly within 6 mos., so he wants us to get pregnant ASAP before then to see if the removal affects the RPL diagnosis. He wants us to try a couple more times with clomid/IUI and then he’s going to move us straight to IVF. I’m ready to be hopeful again, but also terrified. I guess we shall see.
I'm probably here even though cd1 hasn't officially started. I'm seeing an RE in less than 2 weeks on Jan 9. I'm waiting to be enlightened here lol. I've had all basic fertility testing and passed all of them. GL @cassafrass15
I'm here! I'm CD 10 today (really CD 11 but I was suppressed for an extra day on meds to avoid Christmas day monitoring, so my adjusted cycle is equivalent to CD10). Today is my 8th day stimming. Went for monitoring and I have 11 measurable follies right now. I was hoping for a bit more at this point but hopefully a few more will pop up between now and Sunday (that happened to me on one of my IUI cycles - I went from 1 mature to 7 mature in 48 hours). Lining is at 12 mm so that's good. I go back Sunday morning for monitoring and I anticipate triggering either on Sunday or Monday with a Tuesday or Wednesday egg retrieval. I'm fairly uncomfortable already and I can't imagine carrying these ovaries around for 4 or 5 more days

@tosh24 Good luck with your first cycle! I’ve been following your story for a while and I’m so excited for you! Sorry your ovaries are uncomfortable - I once had 8 measurable follicles (a fluke on clomid) and I was miserable with just those. You’re tough, and of course this will all be worth it in the long run. FX!
@vlagrl29 My RE has offered me so much clarity in this process and the information he’s given me has restored to me a modicum of control over this whole process. Good luck with your appointment this month!
@cassafrass15 I’m glad all went well. Hope IUIs are successful
@tosh24 sorry for ovary pain but GL. I hope all goes well!
im going to sit on this board while I wait. I’m waiting for first AF after d & c. I’ve been taking OPKs to see when I ovulate to know when it’s coming and sort of temping. I’ve forgotten a few times but nothing so far. Im away this wkd and didn’t bring test so have no idea if it will happen now. Also had blood test done yesterday for multiple things but mainly clotting disorder and it will take 2 weeks before I have results and genetic results will be about another 2 weeks. Once I get those back we will decide whether we keep trying or not. Hopefully nobody minds me hanging out here while I tap my fingers
Hi! I'm waiting for that dumb AF as well. I was hoping it would start today, but it had other plans. I'm thinking it might start Sunday since I think I ovulated a little later than my app guessed. Don't worry though, I will be so excited when it starts I'm sure I will let you all know! I am so ready to be off the bench and get another little baby in this belly!
@Mack2342 I hope these tests bring you some clarity. We’re still basically following a process of elimination trying to figure out a reason for our RPL. I hope with all the hope that you find your answer. And of course we don’t mind you hanging out. I think we’re all lurkers at heart!

sorry for AF @lin0442 - BUT the new year is almost here. I need to set my intentions now. I can control my life and what I want out of it even if I can't control this 1 thing so that's what I'm going to do. DH mentioned last night going back to the gym again which I'm always a fan of because being active makes you feel better. He said the only thing that has changed for him since we had DD was he's put on a little weight and thought going to the gym might help his swimmers. I told him going to the gym is never a bad thing. I think it would give him more energy.
I had a monitoring appointment this morning and I'm triggering tonight! Ahhhhh! Looks like I should have about 12 mature follicles by ER on Tuesday. My "goal" was 12-15 so I hope to get around that at ER. Most follies are between 1.6 and 2.3 cm with a handful that are just over 1.0. Lining is still at 1.2. Waiting on the nurse to call to let me know if I'm triggering with HCG or Suprefact (to reduce risk of OHSS) tonight. Now my nerves have kicked in! I'm currently making a shopping list full of protein, electrolyte drinks, and salty snacks.

Still waiting over here. Finally got a BFN with a HCG strip so I took another test with a FRER and got a blazing BFP Tomorrow will be 3 weeks post D&C so I know it's normal not to be at zero yet, but I'm frustrated since it means AF probably won't show until closer to the 6 week mark.

@cassafrass15 Good luck to you! I totally understand you feeling hopeful but terrified at the same time. It's so scary trying to think about TTC again and not knowing what will happen. So are you doing an IUI this cycle with clomid or will that be later on? Please forgive my newbie questions while I try and get to know everyone here. @vlagrl29 GL at your RE appointment in a few weeks. Hopefully you can figure out what comes next for you. Also I love what you said to @lin0442 -- "I can control my life and what I want out of it even if I can't control this 1 thing so that's what I'm going to do." I find myself thinking the past few days that it doesn't matter if I'm healthy or exercising because it wasn't helping before, so what will it help now? That would drive me crazy. I never know what to say when people are awaiting test results. On one hand I hope for good results for you, but on the other hand, it would be great if they could find some sort of answer for you. @tosh24 So excited for you! Good luck! @acciocoffee Hooray for being off the bench! What a great way to start the new year. @coco2787 I'm so sorry you're still getting positive HPT results. Are you doing blood tests too, or just HPTs? I so hope your number goes down soon for you. It must be absolute torture waiting.
AFM: I'll be calling the OB tomorrow to get a referral to an RE to start some testing, I guess, or at least see what the RE says and what they think should be done. I looked at my insurance and I'm not quite sure how much of the testing will be covered. All I could find was information about testing after 12 months of infertility, so I don't know how it will be handled since I've only been trying for 7 months and I'm not AMA. For now I'm just putting myself on the bench for at least one cycle or until I meet with the RE. Happy new year, everyone. I hope 2018 brings great things for us all!
@offtoneverland - 6 months into ttc I had all fertility testing done with OB. We don't have RE coverage. My OB was able to code everything as irregular cycles even though mine are fine and insurance covered it. My ins won't cover anything IF coded. Call your ins and ask so you are prepared. My plan with RE if she wants more blood work is to get it done at quest since its in network.
@offtoneverland no blood tests. I don't really need to take HPTs either but I like to have an idea of what's going on, even though it's driving me crazy.

@coco2787 I'm sorry you are having to wait so long Unsolicited personal anecdote: I had weekly blood draws until my HCG was down to zero, it was not fun...going back to the office week after week after week it took me almost exactly 4 weeks and I started spotting two days later. Fx you are almost there! Frers are pretty sensitive.
you know you have done a pretty good job healing when you come across a video you taped of your DD last year wearing a big sis shirt to surprise the family with and you don't cry. It kinda feels like a distant memory now. I thought the only video was on DH's Ipad from when we surprised her.
@coco2787 I definitely understand you wanting to take HPTs. I would be doing the same thing. I guess all doctors are different--my hcg was 4 on Friday afternoon and the doctor emailed me yesterday telling me to go back for another draw this coming week to make sure it gets back to zero. Not looking forward to getting poked again. @vlagrl29 I'm sorry you came across the video but it sounds like you were able to handle it well. Are you going to delete the video or keep it? I made a big sister card from DD for my last pregnancy to give MH on his birthday as a surprise and I tore it up and threw it away after the loss was confirmed. It's hard to keep stuff like that around. And thanks for your note earlier about calling my insurance. I completely forgot that I could (and should!) do that to make sure of everything before I start these appointments.
@offtoneverland I decided to keep it. My loss was a year ago and at the time I threw everything away or deleted what I needed to. I bet dh still has the vid on his laptop. After it happened DD would watch it. I'd see her do that then promptly go cry my eyes out in the bathroom.
Twenty-two eggs!!!!! I'll find out maturity and fertilization #'s tomorrow! I have to do a freeze all because I'm an OHSS risk, so no embryo transfer this cycle. Disappointed but I'd rather not chance it. I was not expecting the procedure to be so painful - they maxed out my pain meds in the OR. I'm feeling pretty sore right now. I'll definitely be on the couch for a couple of days. FX my rainbow baby is fertilizing right now!!!

Jumping back in here to say farewell to 2017 and hoping for a better 2018!!! CD2 here of my first AF after my 2nd loss. Wishing I could start trying again, but need to wait for the all clear from my new RE. Got most blood work back from my appt last month, and I’m now on thyroid medicine and vitamin d supplements based on what we found. Also going for a saline ultrasound next week to check for anything wrong with my uterus. Fingers crossed we don’t find anything and she gives me the ok to start trying again.
@tosh24 that’s so exciting, but sorry about the pain!! I’ve got my fingers crossed so hard for you!
@vlagrl29 glad you’re feeling relieved. Hopefully your RE appt will help too! I saw a RE for the first time last month and she was super informative and really went through things my OB had never mentioned.
@coco2787 ugh sorry about the wait. I feel like that wait to get back down to zero is the absolute worst.
That's so awesome @tosh24!!! Take it easy and hope you feel better.
filled out all my medical forms online for the re next week. I'm really hoping we don't need to retest all the fertility stuff I've had done. I just kinda want to go ahead and get to it! I'm all for a saline sono though.
So this wasn't my month. Had heavy spotting on Thursday night and AF arrived Friday. I thought that since we have had 4 MC trying naturally, and the testing has shown NOTHING, now that the holidays are done I'd try to go straight for the low dose of clomid (hoping that would improve egg quality). So I called the RE's office yesterday to get all the data on what I'd need to do, when I'd need to take it, what the costs were, etc. So I talked to the nurse and found out what I needed to do during the cycle, that I'd need to start taking pills CD 3 (so today), and sounded all good. Got transferred to billing, and heard the $ details. All sounded good. Went back to talk to the nurse and say YES sign me up... and she goes "I'm looking at your chart and don't see an order for this. The note says the doctor wanted you to: 1) send over your karotyping results 2) Get the endometrial biopsy 3) lose weight So... since I haven't lost the arbitrary weight THEY wanted, they won't even let me try clomid (despite the nurse telling me after my biopsy that if we weren't successful after a few cycles to call back to try a low dose of clomid). Apparently this nurse is going to ask the doctor about it, but it would be too late for this cycle. Supposedly I'm not even supposed to be trying PG without losing weight. So, my RE thinks I'm too fat to have a living baby. I'm so pissed right now. I was already planning to get back on eating better and exercising more now that the holidays are done, but this does NOT help me feel motivated. I think the idea that if I lose 20 lbs. I'll magically have no more TTCAL issues is a magical unicorn dream.

@acciocoffee yay for CD1 and being off the bench!
@Mack2342 sorry for the long wait for getting your test results. Hopefully when they do come, they will give you some answers!
filled out all my medical forms online for the re next week. I'm really hoping we don't need to retest all the fertility stuff I've had done. I just kinda want to go ahead and get to it! I'm all for a saline sono though.
1) send over your karotyping results
2) Get the endometrial biopsy
3) lose weight
So... since I haven't lost the arbitrary weight THEY wanted, they won't even let me try clomid (despite the nurse telling me after my biopsy that if we weren't successful after a few cycles to call back to try a low dose of clomid).
