I definitely ate chicken pot pie last night and watched 3 episodes of Dark on Netflix. Had anyone watched that? I hate watching shows or movies that are dubbed but I've managed to get through it and it's actually quite good!
@ecwk - haven't seen it but it looks chilling! One review said that it's the series that's hard to watch and impossible to stop watching which is intriguing. Did you get used to the voice over after a bit?
We were watching Riverdale on Netflix - the dark and twisty version of the Archie comics and it was pretty good. Rumor has it they're doing a spin-off of a spooky Sabrina the teenage witch next
@mrsbubbles-2 I LOVED Riverdale! It was totally geared towards high schoolers, but I have no shame. Currently bingeing Scandal. I know I’m behind the times with that one. It’s so good tho!

@lakesideknitter - Scandal is on my list! Also How to get away with murder. I the creepy, dark and twisty shows. Right now we're re-watching Vanderpump Rules because it's like my comfort food of reality tv.
@mrsbubbles-2 Whaaaat? A spooky spin-off of Sabrina?!? Yaaaassss! I watched one or two episodes of Riverdale but I need to watch more. I've spent most of my free time reading recently for my book club.
@mrsbubbles-2 omg we LOVED Riverdale!!!havent seen season 2 yet though! And I legit love Sabrina, I always have, I'd be curious about a remake! I did get used to the voice over. I'm weird in that I like watching shows with the subtitles on so I am half concentrating on those too so it doesn't bother me as much!

Lol, I just watched the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules off my DVR! It’s the only garbage show I watch, but its also the only show I stay current on. You would love Mindhunter on Netflix. Super dark and creepy.

@offtoneverland - Right?!? I'd gif my excitement but work blocked all my gif sites lol! What have you been reading? I just finished the Awaken series - very YA but it was an easy read.
@ecwk we haven't finished season 1 of Riverdale yet - DH had started watching it and I came in somewhere around episode 6 or 7 and then we had to start all over so I knew what was going on! Good to know about Dark - I think we're going to have to check it out!
@lakesideknitter - I'm totally going to check out Mindhunter, thanks for the rec! We cut our cable last year so I have to wait for VPR to come to Hulu and it only shows up when the whole season is over. So I'm just now hating on Tom's highlights. Seriously. WTF?
@izmom28 - OMG we just started GoT. We're through the first season. First, I can't believe it took me so long to start this show, second, I cuss out my BILs and SILs daily because there's no good stopping point! Goodbye free time! But it's so good!!!
Currently almost caught up on Shameless - just binged Season 2 of the Crown though so had to take a break from Shameless for a week.
Is anyone else doing the Panorama or Harmony test for this pregnancy? I am supposed to get my blood draw one week from tomorrow - aside from the health information, it will be crazy to know the sex so early (only found out at 20 or 18 weeks with my two boys).
@alinafed I had one my last pregnancy but only because there was a soft marker found on his anatomy scan. I opted to not find out the sex though! Won't be getting it this time unless necessary!
This is random just because I don’t know where else to go with it. After Christmas, be prepared. I haven’t had any time to log on the bump on my computer which means I haven’t been doing a lot of the organized posts. I am going to blow them up once the craziness is over! You will know more about me than you ever cared too.
also, I wish the app worked better.

I left work early yesterday and took the day off. Sinus infections suck! Am feeling a lot better but have a headache that won't quit. Thought maybe caffeine withdrawal but I had some coffee and it's still there. Have taken more Tylenol. And have taken it four times in 24 hours so can't take any more until later. I don't like taking it but I have to!
@mrsbubbles-2 Thank you for thinking of me! I'm on my last day of antibiotics and feeling a lot better. Not 100%, but I'm getting there. I'm going to attempt a return to the gym today, so we'll see how that goes.
@ecwk Confirmed sinus infection? Did they give you an antibiotic? Tylenol is the most worthless medicine of all time. It's not even worth taking it, IMO. Hope you are on the upswing now.
@ecwkI'm sorry I missed you in the tags! FX the headache goes away soon, glad you got to take the day off, I hope you got lots of rest @hardlyhannah - so glad you're improving!
@juliebird6 yup I'm on amoxicillin 2x a day. Already feel improved but I do think the Tylenol helps with the headache. Well...I'm still waiting for it to kick in so maybe not!
@mrsbubbles-2 Thank you for the recommendation! I love YA series, so I added that one to my Goodreads list. We just read Someday Someday Maybe by Lauren Graham for my book club. Before that, I read 180 Seconds by Jessica park and really liked it. @ecwk Sorry to hear about your sinus infection. I hope you feel better soon and your headache goes away.
@mrsbubbles-2 I love the what are you reading thread idea!! I don’t know if I’d have time to take on a virtual book club on top of my irl book club but I’m always looking for new book ideas!

@ecwk@mrsbubbles-2@lakesideknitter Funny enough, my brother was over this weekend and was raving about Riverdale. He tends to be a bit dramatic and into ridiculous shows, so I kind of brushed it off - but if so many people like it I may check it out. I'm pretty deep into Supernatural right now - I had never watched it and started over the summer. I'm almost done with season 9 so when that's finished, I'll be able to watch something else.
The rest of this week is half days and I love it. My students are taking finals which means I get to bump and catch up on grading!
@hezzer78 It took me a while to start it but a bunch of people had recommended it (including a few of my students, which may have made me so hesitant to watch it!) but I am so glad I did. I think you'll enjoy it! The weirdest bit was seeing some 90's heartthrobs being the "older" guys this time!
WTF @ TB - It keps saying my siggy is too long! Not happy!!
I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep up with a virtual book club right now, but I definitely love the idea of hearing all of your book recommendations!

Same! Since having DS I don't think I've read a single book book *gasp* something about not having much free time anymore...
@legallykate it was you asking about manicures right? I just had a pedicure and I remember reading online last time that it is not recommended to use the massage chair at least in the first trimester. Just thought I'd share!

Really? Why? I was thinking about getting a massage because I have a gift certificate!
August '18 March Siggy Challenge - You had ONE JOB
@ecwk I was asking! I'm still debating if I should do a gel manicure. I hate that regular manicures don't last. Also, should I tell my aesthetician no massages?
I feel like I'm totally paranoid about everything now.

@mrsbubbles-2 I agree with everyone else. I couldn't keep up with a book club but would be so happy with a what are you reading thread! Always love getting new book recommendations.
My son was exposed to the flu yesterday at day care. So I am effectively throwing $200 out the window and keeping him home all week. He has asthma. I want to TP the dumb mom who brought her kid to school with a 103+ fever. WHAT A DUMBASS. So irritated. But at least I can work from home. Silver lining I suppose.
Another small glimmer of hope: the flu was strain B, which is generally a better match for the vax (which we get). I'm thankful it wasn't the A H3N2 strain.
Re: Weekly Randoms W/O 12/17
Pic in spoiler because it deserves to go somewhere...
Also work is slow today so I'm bumping and trying to find a good present for my BIL.
