Had my first ultrasound today- Baby #2 is looking good!! Measuring only a couple days behind what I thought, so he/she is 6w6d! Heart rate was 129. I was so nervous this ultrasound wouldn't go well- I am so so happy!!!!!
When I was pregnant with my son I had the first ultrasound at 6w1d and his heartbeat was 102. They said that anything from 90-110 was typical at that stage. Two weeks later it was 181. Everything was great! Don’t worry! That’s perfectly normal for 6 weeks! Congrats!
I had my first ultrasound done this morning, and I'm beyond thrilled! Just one little guy in there, heart rate 121, and measuring lined right up to when I ovulated, 6w4d.
They also found a 10cm blood-filled ovarian cyst that I have to babysit. He's hoping it will resolve on its own, and they'll recheck it at my next ultrasound, but I'm not to do anything "strenuous or exciting". Anyone had one of those? How'd it turn out?
At my first US 12/21 just a gestational sac that measured 5w2d which was pretty on track with O date. Today I had a repeat ultrasound baby measured 6w3d with a heartbeat. That’s great news! I’m worried that baby is measuring behind and also worried that I have a SCH that is larger than the gestational sac. Repeat ultrasound in two weeks to monitor the bleed. Does anyone else have a SCH or have experience with them from previous pregnancies? Would love to hear your stories.
Our 1st US was Dec 21st at 7 wks, 5 days. I was spot-on with my charting (I had a proud moment). The US tech was awesome and said that everything looks "perfect". My great aunt/dr showed us off to her ENTIRE office introducing her new great great niece or nephew lol We didn't get to hear the heartbeat that early due a "theory" the tech has, but I didn't argue since this is our first pregnancy and there were no objections from my dr; we'll hear it on Jan 18th!!! Super excited! The heartbeat was measured at 154 bpm, and we saw the most precious heart flutter on the monitor.

Here's my little bean! Sorry for the big sideways pic. Measuring 8w1d (I predicted 8 weeks even) so EDD I said Aug 16th. HB was 165 and I even got to see him/her moving around! Feeling relieved! Thanks to you guys on the STM thread for the well wishes!
Our first ultrasound!! I was so excited when we got to see little baby but now I am a little worried...It looks like every other ultrasound posted has a round sac. Does anyone have any input as to why mine looks so elongated? Is that a concern?
knottied5ff8d4031aa4aee Just looking at the uterine cavity from a different angle.. Yours is more from the side whereas lots of others might be straight on. Yours has your cervix on the left and the top of your uterus towards the right. Probably just the best angle they found to see baby best! Congrats!
Also, just to clarify, this is not me offering official medical advice. If you have actual concerns, you should call your doctor! Hate to have to say that, but feel obligated.
Went in on Tues for early viability US. LMP=6w, measured 5w5d, just far enough along that we were able to see the tiniest flicker of a heartbeat getting started. So amazing! Progesterone at 15.4, not bad, but started prog support. Next appt on 1/16.
Had first u/s on 1/5! We did IVF and are pregnant with twins! due date was 8/28 with Single baby but they said we will leave it at that until we get more measurements! We saw both heartbeats & ah! My first time making it this far in the process!
Had my first US today. No pic sadly, but it's measuring 6w 6d and has a HR of 126bpm We saw the heartbeat. It was amazing. Our last one we never even got to see a heartbeat

My MW gave me a quickie peace of mind u/s with their ‘dinosaur’ machine, saw hb and baby looked like a 10w baby ❤️ (9w5 today) i didn’t even know she had a machine so that was such a thoughtful thing for a pgal mama
Ultrasound measurements are 8weeks 2days. Dr is basing on LMP so 8weeks 4days due 8/17. Having genetic blood work done next week and will find out boy or girl then.
Baby is measuring exactly on track at 7 weeks 3 days heartbeat at 144! I got to FaceTime with his daddies and they were beyond thrilled! So happy to help make their dream of being parents come true!
