I continue to be lucky with no MS, but I'm getting HUNGRY. Also getting a bit of a stuffy nose but I've been in dry cold weather for a week so it could be a combination of things. Lazy and tired too, of course! My skin looks great though. Maybe a boy? Or maybe since I've been fighting hormonal acne for literally 3 years things have now sort of balanced out? Sooooooooo looking forward to our 10w US on Monday. I'll be 10w tomorrow and I feel like I can finally see the light.
Anyone starting to have symptoms fade? I’m not sure if I should be nervous or it’s normal. Have had terrible nausea since week 5 and vomiting since week 8 but haven’t thrown up in 3 days/have been much less nauseous yesterday and today (just about 10 weeks now).
What at do you guys think? Have an ultrasound on Monday so will find out either way soon but trying to calm my anxiety. Boobs are still huge and painful and still bloated but not sure what to think about the nausea. Just want the babies to be ok!
@devilcat139 totally normal, I noticed my symptoms fading around 9 weeks. As the placenta starts picking up the slack your symptoms will start to die down going into the second tri. It could still one back too- after a week with no nausea mine is creeping back.
@wildtot i have a similar pain in that area. This is your second right? I remember thinking that the RLP didn't feel the same with my second as with my first...in fact I don't really remember that much RLP with my first, at least not super painful. I also go the pain in my pubic bone and lightning crotch way faster as well!
@devilcat139 my ms subsided at 7 weeks! I was a wreck and the doctor told me to chill and thank my lucky stars! And now at 10w I feel like it's even more normal as the placenta starts helping. 8w ultrasound looked perfect, so I'm almost to the point when I can relax;)
@acunamatada wives'tales are fun, right?? So far they point to a boy except for the heart beat. I think it's a girl but maybe I'm just projecting! I also started using a new natural skin care line and it's amazing, so everything helps!
@kissableviv if you don't mind me asking what skincare line do you use?! I have struggled with acne to some degree or another since I was 16(the last 10 years).. So I'm always curious as to something new to try!
@devilcat139 totally normal. mine started easing off in week 8. I still have some random bad days, like today where I just feel extra nauseous but for the most part it has subsided and only comes around every few days. Hoping it goes away completely in the next week or two.
Anyone get more than the normal amount of heart palps? I have them very rarely but lately they've been much worse and I notice more when I'm physically active. I will obv be discussing this with my doctor on Monday -- but just wondered if this is common when pregnant?
Guys so maybe like an hour, max after I posted about losing the nausea I noticed I was spotting brown a good amount and FREAKED. Can’t emphasize enough how lucky I am to have a MIL who has been an OB for 25 years and is still the chief at a big hospital in NYC because I called her and she told me and my husband to get in an Uber and she’d meet us at the hospital. My OB happened to be on call so we got whisked up to the L&D floor right away and into a room with her and the tech for an u/s. Thank GOD everything was ok-both babies measuring a little over 10 weeks with heartbeats over 160, moving around and looking fine. Seems like it was just a bleed and it should go away in a day or so. Taking it easy until then
But long story short...omg that was a terrifying few hours
I am 9 weeks and am just totally exhausted. I am feeling super hungry, but once I eat I start feeling nauseous about 3/4 of the way in. It's probably a good thing otherwise I would have gained 10 lbs by now, LOL.
@SmashJam yeah this is #2. I tend to feel the pain more when i move around like in bed or something. Almost like a pulled pain. RLP with #1 i remember more of an ongoing stretch but not as sharp.
@devilcat139 sooo glad everything is ok, what a blessing to have an OB literally on call:) take it easy this weekend.
@mrsj1215 no problem at all! I started using cocokind products. I swear they have the simplest ingredients but they are making my skin looking good! I was in cold weather this week and made sure to hydrate. They have a gift set that I believe is still on sale for $64. Comes with 4 products! The raspberry vinegar toner is particularly great for acne prone skin:) and it's all safe to use during pregnancy!
Hey guys. I haven’t been on much this week because the scrolling and reading aggravates the nausea I had a little bleeding earlier in the week and was put on bedrest, which sucked, but it seems to have cleared up now and everything is fine for now. Thank goodness!

@bradybunchmom89 Due to increased blood volume with pregnancy, heart palpitations can be more common/noticeable. I had them pre-pregnancy (got checked out by cardiologist before TTC and all ok) and take potassium and magnesium oxide, which helps. Magnesium oxide is sold over the counter. I take prescription potassium, but a banana plus a cup of milk have an equivalent amount. Good to mention it to your doctor, of course, but either/both of those might help.

Yes- double check with a doctor before taking either magnesium or potassium- levels to high OR to low will cause palpitations and could cause fatal rhythms.
Terrible achey feeling in arm? I’ve has this too with my last pregnancy and never got answers.... it’s hard to explain, the best way I can to describe it is a dull achey pain in my entire arm, and the feeling of needing to “crack” my joints. (Elbow, fingers, wrist, shoulder) . I was thinking Nerve pain . But idk
Was having a bad headache all yesterday afternoon and night (hint-cold compress worked way better than hot compress) but sleep seems to have helped immensely. Hoping it stays that way.
I’ve been virtually symptom free, except for fatigue and sore boobs. I have had some intense dreams that seem so lifelike abs full of detail, that’s new for me as i do not typically recall when i have dreamt in the past.
I do, however, wish i had more symptoms to make this more “real”. Anyone else with me on these feelings?
@and846 same boat. Week 3-4 I had heartburn and nipple pain. I’ve had some food aversions and lack of appetite but other that that pretty symptom free. Seems silly, but symptoms would put the mind at ease. Although some moms that we have lost on the board have said they never noticed any changes, they kept having symptoms. So, just trying to stay positive without my symptoms and think I’ll just have this amazing pregnancy!
@And486 how far along are you? It's normal to have very mild symptoms. I was a wreck between week 5-7 and since then I only have a handful of symptoms but I'm positive everything is ok.
So annoyed, my nausea has been pretty non existent the past week but today nothing is sitting well at all. I thought I was done with this!
I think we are on the same schedule! I had been feeling pretty good but the last couple days my nausea is back. This morning was terrible. I finally got some cereal down and it’s sitting ok but it was rough.
I am going to a conference in Orlando this week for work and having some anxiety. Mostly around leaving my 5 year old. Ugh.

@rosettesandstripes that sounds like tendonitis, which I believe is common during pregnancy along with carpal tunnel. Using an ice pack for 10-15 minutes a day and massaging your arm should help, if that's what it is!
Ive had constant spotting since my 1st appointment at 6.5 weeks saw a baby HB. Dr. Said spotting would be normal since I had a pap but here I am at 10 weeks ...still spotting. Usually dark. Really bothering me, I asked dr about it she just said she doesnt know when it will stop. Any reassurance this maybe normal? Nervous next appointment next week.
@And846 that's around the time my symptoms started being milder- minus the fatigue, haha! 10w2d today and all is well. I'm sure you're just one of the lucky ones with little symptoms!

@blair_krank what a tough week, I'm glad the bleeding stopped for you! Are you still on bedrest?
Speaking of bedrest, how you holding up @Crystal321?
