  • Hi, everyone! My name is Satin and I finally had my dating u/s, which confirmed my EDD as 8/14. I will be 10 weeks tomorrow and the baby is growing on track. After TTC for a year and half, my fiance and I are going to have our first child. I'm 23 years old and my partner is 25. We have done just about everything that we can imagine but we have never been more excited about anything.
  • Sorry I'm late to the party. I'm 9w2d. This is my 4th pregnancy and hopefully 2nd child. I had a miscarriage in August and was reluctant to join until I knew everything was going well with this pregnancy. I've had 2 ultrasound and everything is good so far. I was part of the June 16 group with my daughter.

Hi everyone!!! I’m Scarlett and I’m sorry I’m late to the party. My cycles are very irregular and then my family had a big stomach bug that we couldn’t get rid of and now I’m not sure if I had the bug or was just morning sick. I have had my NT scan and they put my EDD at Aug 1, I think based on measurements and half to make things tidy. I would have introduced myself last week but was in bump jail and couldn’t post for some reason (well beyond the 72 hours). But I’m FINALLY here and so glad to join you all!!!m

    ETA: I am a STM. D is 3.5 yo
  • Hi! Joining a little late. Expecting our third kid on 8/11. I had an u/s about two weeks ago and will go in for a blood draw tomorrow morning.

I don't think I ever put an intro here.  Hi there!  I struggled with infertility for over six years and had my first son via IVF/FET in Sept. 2016. I'm part of the Oct16 BMB, but we have moved over to Fb, so I'm rarely here. Because of my age (I'm 40), I wanted to still feel young enough to chase another one and also make sure my son had someone else to call family as he doesn't have many cousins or extended family close by. My husband is from Scotland, and we live in Virginia with a dog and two crazy cats. We had another FET in November of 2017 and are now pregnant with twins due 8/15 but will probably only make it until the last week of July.

Hi! I’m katie and just started my nineth week with my sixth (two living) pregnancy. Excited to get to know you all! I have Two boys, 7 1/2 and 3.
  • Hello,
New here and not sure yet if I belong or will be staying. Heres my story...I just found out I am pregnant, however I have an IUD and have gotten random periods here and there for the first year I was EBF and still got monthly periods with mirena then second year it got more random. Last one was a horrible one where I had unbearable cramping, sorry TMI but lots of huge clots and it lasted heavy for over a week. That was the first week of November. So based on that being my last period it would put me at an August 12th due date. But bc I have mirena and was irregular anyways I don’t know. I have been having pregnancy symptoms since early December but thought nothing of them, my boobs have gotten huge and sore but I thought it was just a period coming soon, nausea came around the same time I started a diet with intermittent fasting so I blamed it on that. Increased urination I blamed on the fact that I increased my fluids a whole lot, bloating I blamed on my diet changes. When these things all added up, a period never came and my boobs just keep getting bigger and more tender I took a test. And it was positive within seconds...a very dark positive.
So hopefully I will be here with you all, my fear is that with mirena there will be some kind of complication that causes me to miscarry. I am no sure how mirena pregnancies are handled. I haven’t told anyone aside from my 2 best closest confidants and my husband. I am excited for another baby but at the same time guarded bc I worry with mirena it may not be viable, hoping to get an ultrasound Monday to figure it out. If this baby happens or not it would be my last since I will be 40 at the birth so my fingers are crossed!
Mother to Joelle (13), Jaxen (3) and Jayla (due 5/6)

  • Hello mamas!!

My name is Ashley and I'm due with baby #3 on August 14th. I'm 33 and my husband is 32. We have two kiddos (ages 5 & 3) who are so stoked for this new little munchkin to arrive. Hi! This happened to my friend, is your mirena still in? My friend’s first Dr said to leave it in, but then she got a second opinion and got it removed. She’s glad she got the iud taken out. Baby is fine and growing. I would make a dr appt ASAP and figure out what to do!
  • I am calling for an appointment first thing tomorrow (Monday) I took a pregnancy test Friday night so couldn’t call to get in to an OB. I am assuming my mirena is still in, so I am not sure what is going on. I have heard there are risks with leaving it in and with taking it out so it’s scary! Just hoping for the best here. We have 3 kids already, I always wanted a 4th Hubby wasn’t on board but isn’t upset, he feels like maybe it happened for a reason if it happens. So we will see!

Hi Everyone!  I am Meg.  This is my 3rd pregnancy and my first time getting pregnant after a miscarriage. I am technically due on Sept 1st but I had my first ultrasound last Friday and found out I am pregnant with TWINS so no way I am lasting till September! Surprise! Look forward to watching all your babies grow!
  • Hi ladies! I am a 36 year old mom to one (DS 6), SM to three (SD 16, SS 13, SS 11), and due with our first "ours" baby on 8/31/18 (based off two dating u/s, from my LMP the EDD is 9/2/18, so I may be straddling the Sept. board as well).
I was active on my BMB with DS (M11), and am very lucky to still be close with many of those ladies!
Since it has obviously been quite a while since I have been around, It may take me a bit to figure everything out again! Also, my name will be changing as soon as I figure out how to do that, but will leave the pic the same.
The BFP on 1/1 was a complete shock, and slightly terrifying to be starting all over again, but DH & I are both finally feeling excited about this!

His three plus my one; we are all excited to welcome a little one!

Finally coming out of the shadows from the PGAL thread. I've been nervous to announce but I'm feeling bold today: 12 weeks 5 days along. Today's ultrasound showed a strong baby bouncing around in there; genetic testing normal. I'm hopeful that our family will be complete in August--and that my (almost) 3 year old will finally have a brother or sister to call her own!  :)

Oops. Just realized I said nothing relevant about myself! Name’s Nicole. 33. Chicago suburbs. Working mama. Lover of the outdoors with a passion for travel.
Hi Nicole! What suburb are you in? I’m on the NW side of the city in the Irving Park neighborhood.
  • @xirk I actually grew up in that area—at Addison & Pulaski. Now I live in Barrington—but its reputation precedes me; I’m anything BUT fancy! :)
  • I grew up in Arlington Heights. I miss it so much! Only not the winters haha

Also a Chicago girl... grew up far west suburbs and lived in the city for awhile!
@calimom2524 winters are still brutal, id stay where you are if I were you! I’ll be out your way next week and I can’t wait for sun and warmth!
    Me: 34 DH: 37
    DS: 5.28.15
    DS#2: EDD 8.31.18

  • @calimom2524 lol, I hear that. It’s freezing here today. I grew up in Upstate NY though so I guess I’m just a sucker for cold places!
  • Hey! I started feeling nauseous one day in January... took a pregnancy test. Just found out I'm due with my 4th in late August. I already have 2 boys and a girl... all under 6yo. This morning sickness sucks so I'm hoping all this bumping will distract me!

  • @elsieisamoocow @JDCS0523 keeping FX for you mamas! I was told my placenta was partially abrupted when DS was born at 34 weeks.
  • Hello everyone  :) I'm 20 & I'm 12weeks +6 with our first baby. I'm hoping for a boy and DH is hoping for a girl! I got my BFP on Dec 12, and it was a semi shock to both of us because we weren't planning it, but we knew the possibility was there & discussed the possibility of it happening many times before. All I wanted was a turkey and avocado BLT on a croissant & DH insisted that in order to get that I also had to take a test.... And now I'm here!  :D Lol we're currently in MI but will be making the move to SC next week  which I'm so excited for since that's where my family is. My EDD is 8/12 and I'm just hoping this baby stays in there til August because I'm a July baby who's stingy with their birth month!   :p

Hello! I'm currently expecting my second with an EDD of 8/24. We are really hoping this pregnancy doesn't go post-term by a week like my first (had to be induced and never had any contractions to speak of) because 8/31 has some extremely unpleasant memories for my husband. We are located in Oklahoma and both in our 30s now. My pregnancies are classified as high-risk due to increased chance of heart defects because of my husband's congenital heart defect so I get lots of ultrasounds to watch for any issues. But other than that and wicked bad pitting edema, my first pregnancy was uncomplicated and I hoping for even better this time.
