ngolimento Royal wedding might be stealing our baby spotlight but do will all those preggo Kardashians. How many of them are expecting - I can't figure it out.
@dan0081 I'm up to five pairs of maternity leggings. One day my pants fit and the next they didn't. The bump is quite unexpected! People always compliment my Jessica Simpson maternity stuff from Macy's.
@downhilldiva Kim is the only one that has confirmed anything, and her baby is due is a couple weeks. Khloe and Kylie have yet to confirm anything, but it has been reported that Kylie is due in Feb. I have no clue about Khloe but they are supposed to be close together.
@downhilldiva I saw Jessica Simpson's clothing line at Macy's.. It was all so beautiful! I am currently looking at Amazon for some more leggings because I certainly need more.. they were $25 a pair at Macy's, which seemed a bit pricey. It's fun finally dressing up my bump!
@dan0081 That made me laugh!! My first reaction was ‘wtf,’ very quickly followed by ‘well she isn’t wrong!’
That’s my other complaint: *TMI WARNING* everything is so... damp. One of the glorious parts of pregnancy is not having a period. But that joy goes away when I still require a pad! My crotch is always wet. Discharge? Sweat? Pee? I think sweat, but I’m not even 100% sure. Gah. Pregnancy is really gross sometimes.
Me (33). DH (37). DD (2.2012). MCs x4. After 4 years & 7 months, due 4.2018!
@ngolimento Way late here, but very glad your spotting stopped. FWIW, I have a friend who has been spotting all through the 2nd tri, and all has been well. @Mattel +1 to being damp all the time. It sucks bad. @dan0081@downhilldiva The Jessica Simpson maternity pants from Motherhood were a total game changer for me. They're the only ones that even remotely stay up, and are comfy and look great. I only bought one pair, because damn, I never pay that much for jeans, but I may have to get a second pair before the end.

Now I need to look into the Jessica Simpson clothes. I bought some maternity pants from Kohls and they stay up fine, but ride up at the bottom and become too short, so I am always having to pull them down. I feel like I look like I am wearing Urkel (sp?) pants!
@Mattel OMG yes! It's so annoying. I keep telling H how wet it is like all the time. FFTC: I'm too lazy to get pads or liners (and don't wanna pay) and I don't wanna have to go get one every time I go to the bathroom, so I just use the papertowels at work when I walk into the bathroom, haha. Much drier!
So I just bought my first maternity clothes today at Macy's.. probably not the best spot cost-wise but that was that was in the mall. I thought everything was 30% off but when I got to the register the cashier thought it was only if you used a Macy's card. I resorted to just buying a dress and leggings, but the cashier insisted that I get another pair of leggings or jeans because "you'll be leaking a lot". I just don't even know what she meant- like discharge? other fluids? It was so strange, and I just laughed and bought my one pair of leggings.
Omg @dan0081 I'm dying. It's true though... Mostly pee in my case but yes other things like discharge are normal. I've definitely had to change my pants because a forceful laugh or sneeze (or puke) caused me to 'leak' all over the place.

I finally could really feel baby on the outside last night! I am surprised that at my appt the other day they said I had an anterior placenta because I started feeling movement pretty early with this one.
I agree with the Jessica Simpson jeans being the greatest. I tried on so many different pairs that just didn't work. But these are so comfortable, stay up all day, and don't look at all like maternity jeans.
@Mattel the wetness is the worse. I almost feel like mine is pee because over Thanksgiving I wasn't drinking my usual amount and I was dry all weekend. So I'm like freaking dribbling pee all day long or something. So freaking gross. I've started a squat routine, maybe it'll help. Hope it does because my thighs are killing me from them all.

I've definitely had the sneeze and wetting myself happen way more than I ever remember happening before. I did lots of squats and kegels after my son was born and leading up to this pregnancy. My bladder control is much worst this pregnancy w puking and sneezing.
@sparklingdiamond SO JEALOUS! DH keeps his hands on my belly every night, but LO just isn't kicking strong enough yet. I thinks is starting to discourage him. I feel bad cuz I can feel him, but DH is still a little disconnected from the reality of baby. Awesome news for you though!!

Same thing for my husband! He is so ready to feel the baby... he always sits on the couch next to me to try to feel her kick. Hopefully not too much longer before he has that moment and it becomes more real for him.
@ftm_ohio@JJMNO1616 it was the same for us - I started feeling movement weeks ago and DH was getting SO discouraged that he couldn’t feel it - but it finally happened 2 nights ago!!! He was like OMG I JUST FELT THAT!!! And got super emotional which is not like him at all. It was honestly one of the best/sweetest moments and I think made everything way more real. Promise it will be any day for you guys!!!
@frenchiekinplusone that made me teary too! Lol My H has been trying to feel too, as I've been feeling her for a few weeks. But I remember the first time around, he wasn't able to feel from the outside until I was like 25 weeks. I'm 21w now, hoping it's sooner this time!
DH hasn't been able to get the timing right to feel kicks (don't know if he could yet). So far baby has only kicked the dog who hasn't seemed to notice
SO just felt the baby last week (so 20~) and now notices it regularly. I can see movement easily from the outside most the time and that is what he noticed first.
As, all these DH stories are making me teary eyed! My kiddo has been kicking like a champ for weeks, but last night was the first time my husband could feel her. It was so sweet.
What I really can't wait for is for my DD1 to feel the kicks! She already pats and kisses my belly every day, babbling about her baby sister.
@Mattel Yes! I've been dealing with potential cervical issues and today my discharge changed to really wet, which was one of the signs they told me to watch for. Of course, I get paranoid and think it may be amniotic fluid, so I took myself into the dr. It was nothing, thank God, but I don't know what it is...all I could explain it as was like I was sweating....without actually sweating. So gross.
@scuba_chic@Mattel I've just started experiencing the same thing. I never even thought twice about it, but Monday is my next appointment I thinkmI'll bring it up. After reading all these comments maybe it is just where we are in the pregnancy. I just don't remember noticing anything with DD.
So this is almost comical, thinking about where baby will sleep once out of our room... DD (6) is insisting that she wants bunk beds so she and her brother can stay in the room and make room for her the crib for her new sister lol. Logistically it would work, and it would be great to keep the spare bedroom upstairs for guests but it's almost laughable having 3 kids sharing a room in a 5 bedroom house!!
Random—- Anyone have itchy feet? At night the bottoms of my feet are insanely itchy. My feet aren’t swollen and it seems to only happen at night. It’s weird and sooo annoying!
Super random, but if anyone is looking for maternity shirts I need to pass along this gem: Gap’s Maternity Modern Boatneck Tee is the freaking best shirt ever. I ordered two a couple days ago and just got them and I never want to take them off ever. Thick but super soft. You can wear them with jeans but they’re long enough to look good with leggings (they cover the butt). I wish they came in 463 colors. Gap is 40% off right now, too.
@julzy YES! I had no idea this could be pregnancy related (I think everything is now a days) but for like the past week in the AM and the PM, just before and after sleeping I have to drag my feet on the carpet all over because they get super itchy! Just assumed it was winter skin related.
Since @lindsye brought up an easily missed but serious pregnancy complication, I would like to add probably the world's grossest PSA:
Ladies, on top of all the other "glamorous" parts of pregnancy, you may want to add a little quick habit to monitoring your health. Check your toilet. Extremely discolored stool or urine is an early warning sign for several conditions that your doc needs to know about. If your stool is black, red (bloody), white, or grey (clay colored), your doctor needs to know. If your urine is dark brown or bloody, you doctor needs to know.
Also as a warning, this quick peek habit, once you develop it, will probably follow you for the rest lf your life . I know I never dropped it. And while gross, and TMI, it is an extremely healthy habit.
@kmalls Very cute shirt and it looks warm! I hate when clothes are only available online though. I know it should be more convenient, but Ive always had bad luck ordering without trying on....
Politics ahead: so apparently Flynn has totally turned on Trump and will testify that Trump ordered him to talk to the Russians? I’m trying not to get my hopes up about this, but...
