@christycalifornia I haven't been hungry at all the last two days. Yesterday I forced myself to eat breakfast, lunch I PIGGED out, like uncontrollably ate snacks (not a normal habit) then I barely ate at dinner, I had to stop because I felt like I was forcing myself to eat. This morning I felt like today was going to be the day for morning sickness but didn't get it. I got the cold sweats talking about eating yesterday though. And I lost 2 pounds. Not really interested in food today either.
@4deep I've been trying to grin and bear it! But if I get really desperate and water isn't working I've been trying a bit of caffeine and then I'll take a Tylenol. I read some where for migraines to try Excedrin tension headache since its Tylenol and caffeine, that version doesn't have the aspirin in it. I'm going to ask my Dr about it at my appointment.
Besides the crazy fatigue, all day nausea, ridiculous constant hunger pangs, I've been experiencing those lovely round ligament pains that I associated with 2nd/3rd trimester size of belly. What the heck? Getting out of the car too fast, getting up from the couch too exuberantly, man, I feel like I'm 8 months pregnant already!

If this is your second, your body is in memory mode and doing things faster than the first time around. Our bodies are ready to get things started. RLP is a big reason I tested early.

And there we go. 4 weeks exactly yesterday and had my first vivid "sex with my ex" dream... every pregnancy (and only ever when I'm pregnant) these dreams haunt me... ugh. *edited for typos*
It's still early so the true fatigue hasn't fully set in yet but I normally can't fall asleep until like 2AM after 3-4 episodes of Grey's lol. Last night I made it about 5 mins into one episode and passed out. My boobs are sore (which is what led me to take a test so early) and I have lower back aches. I'm hoping morning sickness stays far, far away.

@4deep If you have one of these heating pads with the beans inside that you microwave, heat that sucker up and put it on your neck/ bottom of your head (for some reason holding the ends over your ears feels awesome on an aching head, too). Or take a sock, fill it with rice and some dried lavender if you have it, tie it off and microwave it. That's awesome if the headache is in the front of your head.
I've also been told by a friend (who gets migraines) that taking the sash of your robe, getting it wet then freezing it, and then super fashionable tying it around your head helps.
Lots of smells bothering me, tiredness and back pain but overall I’m feeling so good! Didn’t think that was possible. @KatyF0813 those dreams sound awful! Ugh. @lindsayleigh1989 do you think you’ll ask for something different? Sorry to hear it’s not helping. @Kenya715 sense of smell is real here too, yuck.
I'm super nervous and anxious today. I feel nothing, absolutely nothing at 5w2d. Praying it's not a bad sign. I didn't even know I was pregnant w/ DD at this point so hopefully it's just me
@4deep My dr is calling in something for me this afternoon. I can let you know what it is and if it helps. I am miserable today and absolutely can’t function without taking something. I usually take imitrex but it’s not pregnancy approved. I actually forgot and took one in the middle of the night last night and now I’m freaking out. My dr said it’s fine, since it was just one, but I feel awful
I did get a coke today and that paired with Tylenol seemed to help a little.

@gspmom21 sounds about right to me. Last time I had to struggle to gain weight. I'm already overweight, so didn't need to gain as much as someone at a healthier weight, and between not drinking wine and all the empty calories and having no appetite the first trip, I lost about 15 lbs. Not good. I know I gotta try and eat, but it's hard! Take advantage when you feel hungry, that's what I do!
Symptoms have chilled out (thank goodness). I am still super sleepy with a heightened sense of smell. But the insanely sore boobs have become a dull ache; the constipation is still there but not nearly as bad as it was before.
New things: severely itchy skin, wicked dreams, and I seriously never want to be touched.
My nausea started much earlier this time around, but I'm managing it with unisom+b6 which is working really well. But I am SO bloated, these work pants may actually rip...
After being really cranky yesterday afternoon and evening my symptoms are totally gone. Cue panic and constant mantra telling myself not to panic and a vicious unending circle...
Anyone else get motion sickness? It’s a first for me. I had to ride in the back seat to lunch the other day and felt motion sickness - I don’t ever get car sick. Reading my phone while hubby drives gives me motion sickness too now. Curious if anyone else is experiencing this?

@bdesterhouse I've noticed I get motion sick really easy. I told DH I would need to drive from now on. Lol. I do get motion sick pretty easily non-pregnant, but it definitely seems faster/worse pregnant.

I’ve been feeling super tired and quite a bit of heartburn. Last week I had some cramping around my right pelvis and I read that round ligament discomfort is common as the uterus is growing. Has anyone else had that sensation?
@wildtot I have. I don't really feel like I'm going to throw up, but It feels like I have a lump in my throat all day and my stomach feels weird. I haven't really wanted to eat at all. Typically i'll force myself to eat breakfast, lunch I get real hungry and pig out but then at dinner I have to force myself again. Endless cycle so far. Has MS started for you?

I think that's been common in the group. I had a lot of cramping around 3-4 weeks, but I rarely have it now. Nothing seems out of the ordinary for me so far. If it gets severe and hours long call you doctor! Never can be too safe
gspmom21 it actually usually only happens sometimes and early in the AM when I am waking up. It almost feels like a nauseous burp that won't come out. I didn't get MS with my son so idk if i'll actually get it this time. According to my scan i was in the 5 wk range on monday so it might still be too early? idk.
Update: my doc called this AM and said my first beta looks good, right on point to what the scan was showing. Ill get the second result on Friday. Just looking for an increase. Gives me hope that I just ovulated late and all will be ok.
@bdesterhouse I have also been getting motion sickness, even when I drive myself. I don't get motion sickness normally so this was something new for me!
As of yesterday morning, I'm hungry ALL THE TIME. I can eat until I feel physically full but I'm still feeling hunger pains even though I know that I'm full. I always thought people were joking and exaggerating about pregnant women eating all the time. But no. The hunger is real. I'm counting down the minutes (precisely 10 minutes) until lunch.
Reading these symptoms made me feel a lot less crazy lol I am freaking EXHAUSTED. Like, I can barely keep my eyes open AND YET, when it is bedtime, I am WIDE AWAKE. I am nauseous a lot which is totally new for me. My last pregnancy, I threw up twice lol and that was only in the third trimester! Anyway, besides tired and blah, I actually feel good. Last pregnancy I had complications from day 1 so my stress level is a lot lower. I also am not morbidly obese this time so that is helping things too. Keep on hanging in there, ladies!!
I was so exhausted I almost fell asleep while watching 1 episode of a show with DH... I loved the show and wanted to keep watching, but my eyes were just closing on me.
I hear you on the cravings, for me it's spicy noodles and chocolate cake!
The past couple of days I've been waking up with good energy and then getting tired starting around 8 pm. I also get nausea most often in the evenings (which is weird, bc I thought eating was supposed to help with that).
My boobs hurt like nothing else I've ever experienced. I've started wearing a sports bra to bed so that I can sleep on my side comfortably without my breasts hurting too too much. And low back pain here, too, especially if I've had to stand for a long time.

Whooa the gas and gas pain is so real. Last night I had some peppermint tea and that really helped so I think I'll be living off of that for the foreseeable future.
My poor kiddo. Last night something in her combo of bath products/lotions was making me SICK, so instead of our usual round of prayers/snuggles/song she got a rushed mama hurrying her off to bed. I'm really racking up the parenting points this week.
Aww @christycalifornia! I’m sure she didn’t notice a thing! I feel like that at bedtime too, not cause of the smells, but usually cause I’m starving/nauseous/exhausted! I don’t think (or hope not) our LOs pick up on it yet!
@mamabird18 Thanks for the reassurance, hon, you're so sweet! She definitely did notice though, lol. She's an extremely precocious 3.5, and when I tried to get up early she was like "no, Mama, I'm not filled up with snuggles yet. I'm only filled to here," and she pointed to her knees. I explained that I was feeling sick, and she was very sympathetic, but she's had couch-mommy the last two days so I'm already feeling Mom Guilt (tm). She definitely knows her bedtime routine, and knows if I'm trying to flub it.
@christycalifornia Mom guilt here too. Don’t feel too bad. I’ve had my husband take over in the evening a few times now because the smells from dinner and the general headaches. I’ve given quick kisses to my boys and let him do the bedtime routines.
The struggle is real over here, I have zero motivation to do anything. The nausea also kicked in this week. I unfortunately have 3 weeks left of school and it's crunch time. I may not survive.
