  • I usually love my job but I do NOT want to be here this morning.  Having a really tough time getting motivated to do anything.....

  • my boss emailed me over the weekend to say "I hope you are having a good weekend, there is an urgent appeal in you're box that is due soon." As if to hint I should come in on the weekend to start working on it. Ummmmmm..... ok. You emailed me on a weekend to tell me either a client waited to the last minute to hire for an appeal or you waited to the last minute to assign it to me? Either way I'm not coming in on a weekend.

  • Anxiously waiting my start details for my new job. I had accepted the position on 10/24 and had to go through background check and fingerprinting. Got the clear on a Wednesday and should have received details on Thursday so I can start today but no! Communication sucks.

  • Sitting at work feeling too sick to work. The worst part is having to pretend I'm fine to avoid questioning/suspicion (especially from my obnoxiously nosy office manager). Also, got yelled at for dropping my son off at daycare one minute early today. Yup, one MINUTE. I pay you a crazy amount of money every month, I think I deserve that extra minute. Jerks. (Pregnancy rage is kicking in apparently)
  • @zande2016 boo that is some major bs. hope they apologize for being jerks

  • @bdesterhouse go on with your bad self! I'm in a wicked mood today...man this pregnancy has my hormones through the roof!
  • My jaw popped right below my ear twice this weekend, now my ear is killing me and it hurts to eat anything. So my moodiness is stepped up. Not to mention dealing with dumb dumbs at work today.

  • I had to travel out of TX for a family funeral in NY, it's cold as balls here. I really freaking hate the cold.

  • @bdesterhouse I say snark away because now you've got me wondering which post is snarkworthy.

My bitch is at myself. I left my house in slippers. I was too far away to turn around, so I had to borrow shoes from my mom when I dropped DS off. She wears an 8 and I wear a 9 or 9.5, so I'll be super comfortable today.
  • Can I do some snark yet? There is a post that is calling for it. I just don't want to be the one to start the snark... I'm a snark follower.
Pretty sure I know which one you're talking about and I'm a bit bitchy and thought about it too lol

Can someone share please? I follow snark and love to eat popcorn and drink “pretend” wine. Ie. Fruit punch.

That’s my fault. I’m a newbie although I was on the boards 3 years ago. Things have changed so much. I’ve fixed my mistake.

@MrsMCBMar2014 be careful what you ask for ;) I think they are referring to your intro thread. I may be wrong though, but welcome nonetheless!
  • @Crystal321 I hear you on the potty training nightmare. My 2yo loves to go potty like daddy... So he stands up to pee in his little potty, and has pretty good aim. The problem is he also thinks he should poop standing up, and is then disgusted and horrified when it gets all over him. As am I.
  • @Crystal321 may the odds be ever in your favor! i am dreading that next year! also hope your husband starts helping out, and that your daughter has a great day and no more accidents!

They are. But I’m old enough to own up to my mistakes. 3 years ago, these boards were different and intro threads were a very common thing. I’ve fixed my mistake.

Haha thanks guys. So far we have only had one poop hit the floor, and thankfully I think she was so traumatized by it that she won't let it happen again for a while. Today she ran up to me with wide eyes saying "Oh no! Oh no!" when she had to poop. I'll take it!

ETA @acunamatada I always hear boys are much harder, I don't know how you ladies do it!
  • I am on day 3 of potty training my 2 year old, and my husband has been absolutely no help. I guess if you count sleeping all day so that he isn't bothering me as help, then yeah he did that.

The good news is that she is taking to it easier than I expected! Day 1 was a piss filled nightmare, but she has the hang of it now.
DD is 2.5 and refuses to go on the potty at home but she goes at school. It’s infuriating so I feel your pain.

However, she does like to sit while waiting for bath time and when I’m going. Just haven’t gotten her to go for me yet.

@MrsMCBMar2014 don't worry, she will get it! I just moved her straight from diapers to underwear on Saturday. She wasn't going for it at all until I did that. Good luck!
  • One of my employees is too happy. Way, way too happy. He joined us straight out of college in June and he still acts like every day is his first day “at a real job.” I guess it’s a good thing but sometimes... too much.

  • My hubby potty trained both our boys. Boys you generally start later, at least we had to. They were both fully trained at 3 though over the course of a weekend with me pulling hair and "trying" for a year before that. 1 weekend when daddy took over and done -_-
  • @djh513 maybe I'm dead inside but I don't trust people who are super happy/nice 24/7.
I had this overly sickenly sweet coworker a few years ago I couldn't stand because she was just too happy and too nice all the damn time. I couldn't figure out why I didn't like her.
Turns out she was a closet racist. It's always something.

LOL. If he were a woman, it would be even worse for me, I think. But yeah, it seems fake to me. I mean, I ask him to do the most mundane, shitty task and he is all smiles and rainbows. Like, no, no. I know this sucks. You don’t have to love everything I say to you.
