@MoonOverGoldsboro moved to WI in May and I have only had Kopp's custard!
@diadem22 I will have to look for those. I have been struggling with being veg. I have been craving meat so far! Haven't caved. But it is crazy how much I have thought of it lately lol.
I busted out the maternity pants today, because this blump is blumpin.' NO RAGRETS.
I’m still fighting pulling them out! Instead I’ve moved to wearing dresses or flowy tops, but my “normal” sized jeans no longer fit. I’m wearing the “transition” pants I bought as I lost the baby weight from DD over the last year. Don’t know why I’m fighting it, maternity pants will probably be more comfortable. .

@missylaneous419 The custard is also heavenly, of course. My favorite frozen custard of all time.
@Ash9614 COME TO THE DARK SIDE. We're so comfy over here! (For real, I might have held out if I had some actual "transition" pants, but since all my transition clothes were basically spandex, I had to give in if I wanted to wear actual clothes to work.)

@MoonOverGoldsboro. YEEEEESSSS to the maternity pants, I mean what’s not to like!
i would really love to not be nauseous anymore. Feeling sick all day long is exhausting especially when your toddler thinks it’s hilarious to spit out half chewed goldfish crackers into your hand

Haha! I will probably cave after our ultrasound on Friday - things will feel more “real” then!

i got a TMI symptom to ask about..... bowel question
has anyone else been dealing with bowel issues? not constipation though? well I should say I'm not going as often as I did before pregnancy. but sometimes when I need to go now.. I neeeeed to go noooowww. I'm glad I work from home cause I never know whats going to trigger it and run through me. its been atleast once a week lately.
I've googled. hormone changes slowing down digestion blahblah. but I can't remember this happening with DS so of course I worry. I'm telling myself that I've never been a big puker. so my body is just getting rid of stuff its usual way.

@MoonOverGoldsboro I would be wearing my maternity pants now if I hadn't loaned everything out to a friend. She's 38 weeks now, so it's only a matter of time before I can reclaim it all. I didn't wear anything maternity until around week 20 the first time around, so this explosion of bloat is...kind of surprising and embarrassing.
@catlady1215 It sounds normal to me. I mean, the crazy thing is that both constipation *and* diarrhea are normal during pregnancy. Grrrrreat.
@catlady1215 Normal. I vacillate between desperately trying to go and desperately trying to hold it. The other morning I basically threw my kid across the room into my husband's arms so I could sprint to the toilet before disaster struck.
@=caenis= Ha, my sources told me that the belly tends to appear earlier the second time around...and they were not wrong.

To those with diarrhea and constipation. Try magnesium. It can help both actually.
Last pregnancy i had the worst constipation and after not going for 10 days (even while taking everything known to man to help me go, except magnesium) and swear i could murder people with my farts haha. I started the magnesium as soon as i found out i was pregnant this time and havent suffered from either at all luckily.
Pregnancy anxiety is real this time. After being told a)I am carrying twins and b) they may be sharing an amniotic sac and STILL not having any prenatal appointments in my future... i am freaking the eff out and having terrible nightmares.
+1 on the maternity pants being pulled out of storage. I fought getting maternity clothes until like 16 weeks with DS and when i finally caved, I kicked myself for not giving in to the comfy life earlier. This time I have zero regrets on pulling them out early!
I feel like an awful person for complaining, because this is obviously the best reason to feel miserable. But I am so sick of being sick 24/7. I added a third Diclegis today, so I am hoping that helps. But man I just want to feel human again *whine*
Well I learned the hard way salads are not going to be on the menu for me for the near future. Usually I love a good spinach salad, my gag reflex had a different idea with dinner tonight. Thanks to whoever started talking about McDonald’s. I need a double cheeseburger and fries in my life.
@kbrown2385, I'm gagging at the thought of a salad.
Last week I would have been so happy for some nausea relief. Then I had two days this week where I felt completely fine (I'm about 8 weeks). Cue the PGAL hysteria. I'm sooo thankful to feel like crap today.

My lunch has been a spinach salad for years. I'm still doing it even tho salad dressing is killing me. It gives me this awful acid taste in my mouth after. telling myself it's the only veggie I'm getting in me so I have to deal
me:35 DH:34 DS: born oct 2012 TFAS: BFP #1 aug16. miscarriage sept16 BFP #2 nov16 MMC dec16. d&c jan17 BFP #3 sept17 EDD 5/31/18 fingers crossed for our rainbow baby
So today I was so hungry when I got home from work. I cut up veggies and made a healthy Greek salad. Then 30 minutes later I was still hungry and out came the baked ziti. Oh well I tried. I did make DH take me for a walk so at least I got some steps in
@kbrown2385 there is something extra nasty about salad when you are pregnant. It was actually my first clue. I've ate a salad of some kind for lunch most days for the past year. I've learned to get very creative with them and love(ed) it. Then one day I was like eww I can not eat another damn salad again today. Same thing the next day. Finally I was like ok, what is up here?! 6 weeks pregnant is what was up. I'm now 9 weeks and haven't had a single vegetable besides the hidden ones in a smoothie
Is anyone else waking up nauseous in the middle of the night? I woke up at 3am feeling like I was going to throw up if I didn't eat. I ate a few pickles and crackers and went back to bed. But I only tossed and turned for a few hours and now I'm up and extremely nauseous again.
@MoonOverGoldsboro I definitely understand not knowing what foods will look disgusting every day. I made tacos the other night which I usually love but after they were done I couldn’t eat them. I had to eat leftover chicken instead.
@fulcher_mama My nausea is at its worst is in the middle of the night! I’m glad it’s during a time I don’t need to be productive, but those late night bathroom trips are rough. Keeping some sort of snack in my night stand has helped, though.
You guys. I was awake from just before 2 am until around 6 am. Unisom keeps me awake. Benadryl sometimes makes me sleepy but it's hit or miss. I am at a freaking loss what to do about sleeping. I am awake for several hours every single night. I can tell it's effecting me because I can speak well during the day. What the heck else can I try!? I have tried literally everything I know as as nurse to recommend to pregnant women.
@sabby2 I couldn't find a damn thing to help with sleeping. I wake up no matter what and stay up. By the time I am tired again at 5 am I have to get dressed for work. I've been a miserable b. Everything I have tried makes me groggy enough to fall asleep but I wake up a few hours later.
@sabby2, have you tried magnesium? It has a nice calming effect. I haven't taken it while pregnant, so you might want to check with your doctor, but it might be a safe option. I used a drink version before (I think it was calm zone raspberry lemonade). Bonus is it can help with constipation.
Me: 30 | DH: 31 Met: August 2006 Married: July 2012 TTC #1 since June 2016
@sabby2 So many hugs, because I'm in the same position. Some things that have been recommended to me: melatonin (it makes my heart race), sleepytime tea, no iphone/ipad for an hour before bed. If you are taking unisom, take it in the early afternoon (12-1).
Props to all you people still eating vegetables. I can't stomach any of them. The smell of cooking / roasting vegetables makes me want to vomit. I'm living on animal crackers and pasta.
@chartermama Ugh, it's the worst when you go through all the trouble of cooking and then can't even eat. I have basically stopped cooking because of this...I'm pretty much sticking to things that can be easily assembled right out of the cabinet/fridge.

@doxiemoxie212 There is something I find very soothing about acid/vinegar. It really calms my stomach. I'm all about the dill pickles (specifically hamburger dill pickle chips) and lemonade over here.
Of course all this acid this also means I've been getting canker sores...

@catlady1215 I had pretty bad constipation up until a week ago.. now it's like you said, not as often as pre-pregnancy, but when I have to go.. it's NOW
@bkrahn my gag reflex has been a lot worse. Usually I don't really have a problem but when I take my prenatals it's like a fight to get them down. Also bananas. If they're not the perfect ripeness I will gag.

@doxiemoxie212 it doesn't help that they are the size of horse pills! Like obviously pregnant nauseous irritable people have to take these can't we make them a little easier.
Also, I have had some gummies and I have calcium gummies and those make me want to die. I think they are just too sweet.

@krashke I got these ones that taste sort of like fruit leather - not very sweet at all. I forget what they're called... I think they're by Garden of Life?
The bloat is getting out of control. I was trying to hold off on busting out the pregnancy stuff but I’m gonna bust open that box when we get back from our trip.
