I’m at court today testifying for my best friends order for protection hearing against her soon to be ex husband. It’s just killing me just hoping and praying it goes through and she comes out stronger than ever before but we could use your good thoughts vibes and prayers !
These situations are so stressful! Prayers it all works out for the best!
@CareBear622 yessss!! my parents came to visit in April and DH and i took an overnight trip and ended up mostly just shopping. at ikea. lol Then I came home and kept telling my mom "Look at all this stuff, we only spent x amount of dollars!
sad day that there isn't a trader joe's nearby. I love that place!
@dapple88 if it were me I'd totally eat it if it's a reputable place! With all the listeria scares lately I take some of the precautions with a grain of salt.
@dapple88 Like @acunamatada said, take it with a grain of salt. My first pregnancy with DD my OB told me the lunch meat thing isn't really necessary. She said you're more likely to get listeria from ice cream or something other than lunch meat.
@acunamatada it is a good place! And Of course I got the double meat one. WTF was I thinking. I’m going to peel some off, microwave and eat it. I think it’ll be fine... the microwave is a good compromise, right?

Fingers crossed everything goes well for your friend. That is so scary and stressful
I blew all the leaves in our front yard today. It took me 2 hours (we live in a typical suburban size yard, we just have a lot of trees) and now my arm feels like it’s going to fall off. I have no Tylenol in the house because we are typically an ibuprofen house. If you don’t hear from me in the next 24 hrs. Just assume my arm fell off and I can’t type anymore.
@dapple88 great compromise! I want a sandwich so badly. I've been reading all those "Debunking the Bumb" and "Expecting Better" and I guess the highest risk for lysteria of all the causes is lunch meat, but it's still fairly rare. If I want a turkey sandwich next tri, I'm getting one, heating it, and eating it, dang it!
@lindsayleigh1989 I hope today went a short well as can be expected. Good vibes and prayers coming your way! Have you been feeling better today? Hoping your migraines go away!!

@MrsMiller8588 thanks! It was a long hard day unfortunately they didn’t finish he still has to testify and be cross examined but it really went in her favor today. Thankfully thw judge said there was enough to continue the OFP for now so we are grateful for that! migraines are more manageable but have been replaced with nausea haha joys of pregnancy haha
@lindsayleigh1989 Sounds like a hard day! Will you have to be there tomorrow too? I have been feeling pretty good still. I am beat at the end of the day, so it doesn't help that I am out of town for work. I will be back home tomorrow though and I am so ready!

oh man that is hard to be out of town but yay for being home tomorrow! Thankfully the dont resume until adter thanksgiving due to the judge's schedule and she felt based on what she heard today there was need for an OFP
I think the hormones are finally shifting. I got home last night after work, with my (23 lb) one year old who I had picked up from school - my husband was still at work. I was just doing our normal routine - bring everything into the house, go get changed, get dinner started, play for a bit, etc. I went to set him down at one point and I was just like “HOW AM I GOING TO SET HIM ON THE FLOOR WHEN I AM 6-7-8-9 MONTHS PREGNANT?” I called my husband and asked when he was leaving and he told me soon. I just said “I feel so stressed. I just keep thinking that it is going to be me at home with DS every night and it’s going to get harder and harder the more pregnant I am and I can’t handle it.” He said no, it won’t be this way, and I’m leaving now.
Later, when we were talking, he told me he hung up the phone and said out loud “And so it begins.” LOLOL ugh....

I've got 13 test strips left so if I test every other day they should last me until my first appointment on the 8th. Test line was darker than the control line this morning so that was nice to see. I was pretty sick by this time in my last pregnancy and I'm mostly feeling good still, which I know is normal, but it's hard not to worry about everything.

I tested this morning and was so excited that the test was so dark. I have my 3rd beta this morning. I’m more nervous about the needle than what the results will say because that test was so dark.
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
DS has glaucoma, so had an exam under anesthesia this morning. Everything went great, so I'm just waiting for him to get to recovery. I am so over stimulated in this waiting room. The tv is on, plus I can hear at least 3 other languages. There are 2 crying babies. And someone bathed in cologne, I think Curve. It's making me so irritated, lightheaded and nauseous.
@djh513 oh man I am right there with you! Sometimes I just get so overwhelmed wondering how I am going to handle it all. I also have a one year old, and my husband works the closing shift at least one night per week, and he works at least one weekend day or night per week. I keep thinking, how am I going to get my son into and out of the bathtub when I'm 8 months pregnant, or lower him into his crib with a huge belly, or parent alone on the weekend when I'm exhausted from work and being pregnant. Luckily my husband just lets me have my freak out moments, he knows what to expect at this point lol. We got this!
@zande2016 My logical mind knows you are right, we can totally handle it and my husband *will* step up (and so will my mom, bless her!). Plus my husband is currently interviewing another staff perso, so that help cut his workload. But my hormonal mind just thinks it is SO overwhelming. Ahhhh. I’m sure this won’t be the last freak out.

@djh513 your H sounds just like mine, he keeps telling me he's getting a new assistant manager soon (he is general manager and currently understaffed) and things will calm down when that happens. But I'm not getting my hopes up.
@bradybunchmom89 I haven't received a phone call to schedule the time yet and trying not to be a crazy person. I think even if they forget to call me I can just go ahead and get one the day of. Less than two weeks until you go in!

@christycalifornia I hope you feel better soon!
@wildtot I’ll be teaching in Aurora later today! I’m in Westminster/Broomfield area.
