Symptoms Week of 11/5

Re: Symptoms Week of 11/5

  • @mileswithmyles yes, while using the bathroom. The stomach pain sort of subsided with a BM ( sorry if that's TMI), but the sweating and dizziness lasted longer.
  • Loading the player...
  • I think it might be RLP. I feel like it is any time that I strain (sort TMI, sorry!)  I have it when I have to pee really, really bad too.
  • Thanks. I think I'll just relax about it and not call the Dr. The pain was very likely gas/constipation. I'll assume the sweating and dizziness are related to morning sickness. Thanks again for helping to ease my mind.
  • @nanifrog I've had really bad gas and constipation and some pain while straining.

Nausea is calming down, and the gas has decreased some. Still constipated but I can deal (eating all the prunes) if I don't have the crippling gas pain.

  • +1 for tired, acne, insomnia club
  • I am out of breath every time I try to get through notes...so embarrassing.
  • My nausea has gotten much better. Now I just get an unsettled/upset stomach a lot but it’s a lot better than it was. Terrible painful acne along my jawline. And add me to the list with random hairs  :|
  • Anyone felt a slight vibration happening in their lower belly? Almost like a cell phone under a blanket? Only the blanket is your tummy? Lol
  • 15 weeks tomorrow and I have basically no major symptoms at this point...good and bad since I obviously don't want to be nauseous, but I also want some signs that there's a baby in there (saw our adorable alien at the NT scan a few weeks ago, so, I mean, there is...). At least the bump is growing! Hopefully I start to feel some clear flutters soon. Starting next week I have biweekly ultrasounds since I'm high risk, so that should help with the anxiety until there're regular kicks and such.

Sorry for everyone still feeling sick :(

  • Horrible headaches started last week. I'm 14w4d and not looking forward to these continuing. Nothing seems to ease them at all and I don't normally have headaches. I've also been dizzy a lot more often. Still extreme exhaustion and nauseous all day every day. This little boy is giving me a run for my money already.
  • @sandbar517 I’m right there with you. I have a lot of rage this afternoon, mostly directed at the life insurance company, MIL, and the fact that my HG meds still aren’t ready. I’m ready to cry or punch someone.
  • @thedawkterswife  I get the palpitations too at random times.
@nanifrog....This happens to me quite frequently.  It is definitely  because of an odd bm.  I get it like once a week in regular life too.  It happens more when I am dehydrated or have been constipated for a while (usually due to dehydration) and then finally go. It's really physically draining!
  • Anyone felt a slight vibration happening in their lower belly? Almost like a cell phone under a blanket? Only the blanket is your tummy? Lol
Yes!!! This happened the other morning to me, I was laying on the couch and my stomach was visibly vibrating. No way it could have been the baby, too early. But no idea what it was. A Mini earthquake.
  • I must be feeling better because the other day I did lots of laundry, cooked dinner, and made cookies.  I don't necessarily feel like I have more energy but the fact that I did any sort of chore at all is a miracle.

I am having a horrible pain in my thumb/wrist.  I mentioned it to my friend and she said it's common to get carpal tunnel while pregnant...joy!  Has anyone else dealt with this?  What can I do? I made a doctor appointment but they can't see me for another two weeks.
Had carpal tunnel with my first and holding my breath waiting for it to happen this time. My midwife then said one option was to try those braces but I opted for constantly relaxing (and not curling my wrists and fingers) when I slept... wasn’t easy, but it mostly resolved within a few weeks post-delivery.
  • I haven't had these vibrations, but this morning I woke up and on and off I get this feeling in my lower pelvis, not painful like cramps but just a little uncomfortable....could it be my uterus just growing and stretching? It only lasts a few seconds at a time. Anyone else experiencing anything like this? ( I am 12 weeks 3 days)
  • @bwow615 oooo!! I’ve never SEEN my belly vibrate... but I’ve felt it almost on a daily basis at differently times during the day. Usuallly when I’m sitting. I’m gonna ask my dr.. but my next appointment isn’t until the end of the month. It’s my second babe, so I was wondering if it was baby swimming around the sac’s wall. Similar to the ‘butterfly’ feelings some moms get. Which I didn’t get with my first.
  • @nikky8 Maybe they are Braxton Hicks contractions? I don’t know how early they can start but I had them through my whole pregnancy with DS
  • I have also felt the vibrating thing...I just attributed it to weird nerve stuff. It kinda felt like a weird vibrating feeling I get when a limb that fell asleep is getting feeling back.
  • MS, insomnia, acne, and betchiness going strong fir 7 weeks now...
also extremely emotional like, i cried watch the today shows announce their Halloween costumes last week? WTH?

Now listen, I’m all for safe everything but at this pint, the acne is driving me insane and it has GIT TO GO I have wonderful products, regular facials and I just can’t kick it. Anyone have black magic to share?
  • @fraufarbissina I had carpal tunnel with my first. I ended up using a brace which helped loads. Unfortunately, once it started (about 18-20 weeks) it didn't let up for the rest of my pregnancy. BUT after I had DS it went away right away.
  • I'm already having nerve pain in my legs...only 15 weeks.
  • @nanifrog I have had episodes like that! Only 2-3 times and at least one of them was when not pregnant. I thought I was dying each time- starting in the bathroom thinking it’s a BM but breaking out in full body sweat and horrible stomach cramps and ending up on the cold tile about to pass out... it’s bizarre and random so I can’t figure out what causes it.
  • Mine is super weird, too.  Anytime I eat, I get this weird feeling in the back of my throat/nose area like I'm either going to gag/throw up or sneeze.  I usually end up coughing really hard a few times, and sometimes it ends in a sneeze.  Strangest thing.

  • @maamy1231 @eryale I wore a wrist brace all day yesterday and to bed last night and it's feeling better today!  This pain actually started a few months before I got pregnant (I think from holding the baby) but has gotten noticeably worse the last 2 weeks.  I'm so badly hoping it doesn't persist for this entire pregnancy.  I hope you guys don't get it this time around either!!
  • @suchaglencoco sweets have been really weird for me lately too. I normally love them (a big problem) but even when I want them, the after taste has been grossing me out. What is up with that!?!
  • All the normal. New symptoms - headaches are here. Had them daily for a couple weeks the first go round. Ugh. Makes working difficult.

Anyone else have keloids?  (They are excessive scar tissue). Pregnancy irritates them so much and causes itching flair ups. So annoying and painful.

  • I am learning to not regret the junk food I am craving. I'm sorry that you too are dealing with acne. I'm really getting sick of covering up more and more pimples every day.  :s
  • Super tmi

Am I the only one who' lady bits already feel a little swollen?  I feel like this happened later in my last pregnancy.

Kind of. I notice it more during sex. I can pretty much only do it in one position because everything is so sensitive and if I finish before he does, it’s almost painful because of how sensitive it gets.

Not it sure if that’s related to swelling or not.

  • @suchaglencoco
i noticed this the other day after I had done a bunch of running around and being on my feet all day after a long week of sitting on my ass in school and coming home and going almost straight to bed(gotta love morning sickness that came in the evening).
  • @suchaglencoco and @alisonhadley i noticed today after a pretty good workout. I don't know if it's related but tomorrow is a rest day so maybe we will see.
  • Good to know I'm not alone. I was at the oak with the kids on a swing and it hurt to sit on that hard plastic and that's all I could think of.
  • @suchaglencoco I think mine are sore because TMI I'm extra moist (cringe at the word) down there and I think it's getting irritated because of that...but what the hell can I do about that?  It's freakin 40 degrees out and I'm sweating everywhere and anywhere.

Sweating all the time even when I'm cold.
