The nausea has been back a little bit as well as constipation but today I feel better. Hopefully it'll all taper off and eventually be gone for good. Appetite is coming back but I still haven't gained any weight. Still down almost 6 pounds from pre-pregnancy. Sore nipples and break outs have been constant since the beginning...
I must be feeling better because the other day I did lots of laundry, cooked dinner, and made cookies. I don't necessarily feel like I have more energy but the fact that I did any sort of chore at all is a miracle.
I am having a horrible pain in my thumb/wrist. I mentioned it to my friend and she said it's common to get carpal tunnel while pregnant...joy! Has anyone else dealt with this? What can I do? I made a doctor appointment but they can't see me for another two weeks.
Nausea and dizziness are kicking my ass today. I’m trying to eat a baked potato in bed and begging DH to leave work early today. Every time I stand up I’m scared I’ll pass out.
Princess @Poppy0419 right there with you. Almost passed out toasting some bread this morning.
Still vomiting 4+ times a day, dehydrated, eat about 500 cals or less a day, headaches, stomach aches, so weak, down 20+ lbs from pre pregnancy. The acne and dry skin is an issue, too. Feeling very discouraged and honestly having a hard time connecting with baby/being excited. Maybe once im showing and feeling better.
14 weeks today....hoping to feel relatively normal by thanksgiving, but it doesnt look promising.
Still sick, and mostly tired. I get spurts of energy and try to capitalize on them when I can. My chest has been breaking out and I’m getting weird nerve pain in my ribs and feet at the same time.
On top of the pregnancy exhaustion (and ditto to bad acne), I caught the virus my DD had earlier this week. Started as a cold earlier this week but last night it moved into fever and full body aches and upset stomach. I freaked out when my temp crept over 100 and called my Dr. She told me to take Tylenol to break the fever. Between that and soaking in a lukewarm bath, it finally broke. I'm weak, achey, and exhausted. Feeling like this hit me worse than it normally would have due to pregnancy. No idea what the bug is, but it sucks. My DD's Dr thought a cold and a stomach bug, but I'm wondering if it's some strange flu variant. I had my flu shot, so who knows. The irony in all of it is my nausea was finally subsiding and I finally started to have an appetite again before this hit.
First off, to this who vomit regularly, I am in awe that you are functioning at all.
Today I was dizzy and nauseous and had a terrible headache. I puked like crazy in front of DD1 who was a little scared. I didn't the rest of the day not doing much.
I've also been really sick with a sinus infection and respiratory infection. Then got a really bad headache yesterday and I've been really worried about it all. Hoping it passes in the next couple of days.
@kpc914, I guess I've missed your struggles! I'm so sorry! I imagine it's terribly difficult to get excited about anything when you feel terrible all the time! I hope relief comes soon!
I caught DS's stomach virus. Luckily I had a routine appointment scheduled for Friday when I felt worst. I got medicine and was relatively normal (not throwing up) yesterday. As many of you have mentioned, I'm beginning to get bursts of energy that I try really hard to capitalize on. I get as much done as I can before I'm drained again.
Anyone else have serious pregnancy brain? Good gracious! If I don't write stuff down I forget in 5 minutes!
@arteduc8 so sorry you feel bad! Sounds like what I had last week. A weird mix between a cold and flu. I've still got crap in my chest from it. Hope you feel better.
I think (fx) I am in the clear from nausea. Breathing has been such a struggle for me. I have asthma and I am using my rescue inhaler daily. I have saline spray and a netti pot but they aren't helping much. My nose is so enflamed that the netti pot won't even let the water through. When baby starts pushing up on my diaphragm I have no idea what I'll do!
@JNCPro3130 and @justsuzie thank you. I was avoiding sharing symptoms because i didnt want to sound like a broken record, but yeah...the last 7 weeks have been really hard. Dr. Is prescribing zofran tomorrow, so hopefully it helps. Im with you on the energy,it changes day to day, and try to tale advantage of good days...
Sorry to everyone who caught bugs/flu...its terrible to be sick while pregnant...i feel for you
Hugs @kpc914! I hope the meds help. That’s got to be miserable. I feel guilty for my complaining and pity party.
Hope everyone starts feeling better/finds meds that work/keeps pushing through. I’m on week 2 of my sinus infection and missing the good drugs but I’m on the other side of that.
Lol princess @Poppy0419, yes to the random hairs. It's disgusting and with this pregnancy I am also starting to go grey. I found 4 grey hairs last week. It's probably my age but still, I'm 34, wtf.
Also to everyone else that's feeling sick, I hope you guys turn the corner soon!
Omg the crying....I cried watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory yesterday.
Also, acne, painful acne. And my face is normally very clear.
And I am hungry all the time yet nothing sounds good except things I cannot have. (I have a gluten allergy and all I wanted this morning was one of those McDonalds sausage burritos. It nearly killed me avoiding it!!!)
@curleemama32, I'm hungry all the time too! I get these massive cravings for something but then by the time I fix it, I feel grossed out and don't want it anymore.
I forgot to add crying at everything. DS likes to watch Homeward Bound. Cue the waterworks.
We went to see The Foreigner last night. I never thought I'd cry watching a Jackie Chan movie. I cried like the first ten min. And rhe several times throughout the movie. DH thought I was broken.
@Poppy0419 yes!! The hairs are awful. I got a bunch on my chin my first pregnancy. I hippie this isn't the case for you, but for me they never went away. I still have to keep up with hair removal.
@curleemama32, I feel your pain. Good job avoiding it! I have a wheat sensitivity. I love gluten and don't understand people who avoid it by choice with no need. It's extra hard to avoid when pregnant. The gluten free breads/carbs have been making me so nauseous. The only thing I don't have an aversion to is wheat.
Acne on my forehead. So much acne. UGH! And general exhaustion.

@fraufarbissina I had carpal tunnel issues with my first pregnancy. I highly recommend wrist braces. Wear them to bed every night and it really made a difference for me. Good luck!
Nausea is lessening which I'm down for. Still getting palpitations off and on. Also feel winded easily, RLP is ramping up, and the lightening crotch is returning. I didn't miss it. Sorta wondering if it's a boy this time since I'm so much less sick than I was with my daughter. Looking forward to finding out soon.
I definitely have lots of these same symptoms. Still very tired, nausea, bad acne, super congested, food aversions, and I've also noticed 2 grey hairs!! I thought it was weird, but now I find it even more interesting that others have had grey hair too. Wishing you all a good week! My fingers are crossed this one is better.
@bwow615@nanifrog theyre chilling on my collar bone and one on my chin. *facepalm* I got them last time around too and they never fully disappeared but I’m always surprised when I see a new one.
@fraufarbissina, I agree it's probably carpel tunnel. I wear a wrist guard at night with at metal plate in it to help keep it monilized whenever it's bad. I've been wearing it most nights the last 6 weeks. Mine got exasperated last pregnant as well. If you work at a computer a lot, I'd start wearing them there as well.
The exhaustion is hanging on for dear life. The nausea and sickness is coming back hard core. The boobs are sore and growing once again. Starting to get some foot/calf cramps, but I may just not be drinking enough water. Can't wait to feel some flutters that I know 100% are baby (I've had lots of not sure's so far) so that my "suffering" can be rewarded.
This morning I went to the bathroom and hot a really bad pain in my lower left. I thought it was gas and just tried to move. I started sweating so much on my entire body. I put my hand on my leg and it slipped. I thought I was going to throw up and was dizzy. I ended up finishing in the bathroom and asked DH for juice. It passed after about 15 minutes but we really unnerving. Has anyone experienced something like this? I've been sick so I'm not sure what relates to that vs pregnancy.
Re: Symptoms Week of 11/5
Also holy acne everywhere. It’s worse than when I was in high school!

Getting bursts of energy, I'll do something productive, then super tired again. Sigh...
Starting to crave more protein and less carbs, so that's good! Feeling better about eating better..
I am having a horrible pain in my thumb/wrist. I mentioned it to my friend and she said it's common to get carpal tunnel while pregnant...joy! Has anyone else dealt with this? What can I do? I made a doctor appointment but they can't see me for another two weeks.

@mileswithmyles Chest Acne here too. It’s super attractive.
Anyone else getting strange hairs popping up places? Nothing sexier I swear.
