The roof has some pretty extensive hail damage, there are squirrels and rats in the attic and damage to the house where they got on. There's a water leak in one of the upstairs bathroom and water damage in some random places. We haven't gotten much feedback from them yet but they do seem to be planning to compensate us for lots of the work. It would be less overwhelming if this wasn't already a fixer upper for us.
@mpp06 Since we paid for the inspection we get to decide what we do with it. We gave it to them so they could see all the issues but yes they legally have to disclose it to anyone else interested. Since they want to close so quickly it's definitely in their best interest to work with us!
Just signed up for my last shifts before maternity leave (they make us sign up that far in advance) but can’t believe Im already at that point! 13.5 weeks and counting

Hard to imagine 3rd trimester is hitting our birth month already!!
We are watching the Ohio State/ Penn State game and I'm afraid DH is going to destroy our house lol. He is almost as emotional as I am right now!
I was totally stress eating during the 4th quarter and then paid for it by being up half the night with the worst heartburn I’ve had yet. Two reasons to cry tonight :’(

I know! DH were sitting going over Christmas budget, up coming expenses, and how much we still want to put in savings. I realized I only have about 7 more paychecks before baby!

This is so frustrating. We had a VERY hard time when buying
our home back in April. We had unexpected results during both the inspection
and appraisal, and had a very difficult time negotiating and compromising with
the sellers. It got to the point where we sent a cancellation of the sale to
them a week before closing before they finally compromised with us. We were
lucky to have a fantastic realtor on our side who took great care of us, but I
was so stressed through the whole process that I lost 15 pounds in a month. I
remember telling my husband that I felt buying a house was so much more stressful than even
having/raising a child. So sorry you are going through this while pregnant.
Dh bought me a maternity pillow yestetday. I was skeptical it was going to help, and kinda felt ridiculous trying to wrap up in it, but I slept through the night! First solid nights sleep I've had in over 3 weeks!

I’m impressed you were able to go the entire night without having to get up for a bathroom break. My kid seems to think my bladder is a great place to sit and or kick

Agreed! Mine sits right on the bladder and last night I got up 5 freaking times to pee! 5!
@mamaof5already and @babybro218 , I love my pillow! It definitely helps me sleep better, even though I haven't slept through the night in months. It took some getting used to, but it's like a comfy little nest!
@rainafire77 why!!!!! Why do people think anyone wants to see that!! Gross!
She was asking if she should call her Dr or if this was normal.
I wish we could just post something that says "if you have to ask if you should call your Dr then that's a sign that you need to CALL YOUR FRIGGIN DOCTOR!"

@rainafire77 I agree with your answer! If you think its serious enough to ask people on Facebook or the bump it's probably worth a call to your doctor!
I'm also impressed with anyone that is sleeping through the night right now too! I haven't bought a maternity pillow, but it's tempting.
It is so nice to be back home with my family after 5 days in the hospital. I really hope my body doesn't think it's labor time again anytime soon. Either way, we started packing my labor bag today and I ordered replacement parts for my pump. Time to break out all of the postpartum gear. Anyone else start their bag already?

+1 for impressed and adding jealous of anyone who sleeps through the night. If I only get up twice I consider it a successful sleep!
@meatballs37 my DH mentioned today we should start on hospital bags. I wasn't even thinking about it but now I am starting to freak out that I need to.
@chucksmom15 with DD I didn't pack until I was halfway through the third tri. She arrived two weeks early and im glad we had stuff ready to go. Especially all my nursing stuff organized.

@chucksmom15, with my first, I did not pack until after my water broke and the hospital told me to come in. Everything was still ok. Yes, maybe I should not have waited until I was 40 w 5 d, but the hospital has everything you need. Everything else is just gravy. I hope to pack before hand this time, but I am a procrastinator.
Both times I pretty much just packed after my water broke. I mean, it’s just whatever comfy pants and shirts fit, nursing bras and pads, phone and charger, and some basic toiletries...I didn’t screw around with much else. And it’s hopefully only for a day or two! It all fit in a backpack
I'm also impressed with anyone that is sleeping through the night right now too! I haven't bought a maternity pillow, but it's tempting.
So glad you are home, and things are settled down!
I used a coupon for one at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and it helped me feel better about spending money on something that felt silly. Now that I have it, I am SO glad I did!
Also, maybe we can start a thread for hospital packing? I am a big planner and a chronic overpacker, so knowing what to bring, and what to leave home would be so helpful for me (FTM). We live almost an hour from the hospital, so running home is easier said than done. I'd love to get opinions on what to bring! (Example: @meatballs37 mentioned nursing stuff, and I can't even imagine what that is referring to? Pillow? pump?) Anyway... clueless over here!

I second this idea. I’m also a bit of a drive from the nearest hospital and don’t have any family around so sending hubby home to grab something or having someone else grab something isn’t really an option. And I’ve looked at some lists online and they seem really excessive so I don’t know what’s necessary or not!

For me, I will probably be pumping in the NICU. So I need to dig out all my supplies and sterilize them (bottles, bags, tubing, etc). Plus get my pumping bras washed. I just want to be prepped for that.

If you are at a bf friendly hospital I would leave your pump at home and just borrow a hospital one if you need it.

Agree...FTM and I've basically been in denial the last 16 weeks. Only thing I've bought so far is a crib, changing table, dresser and 3 onsies. I'm clueless so yes on info of what to bring to hospital would be greatly appreciated

This is pretty much what I packed as well. A lot of things are about your own comfort level as well. I prefer to get out of that nasty hospital robe ASAP but I know many others who prefer it bc they don’t want to mess up their own stuff. I like to change the baby in the hospital as well into my own onesies/sleepers as a posed to the hospital shirt they give the babies... just bc it makes it easier to spot my LO when they take them for whatever reason. All the other babies look the same.
We had a strong storm come through last night and we lost power. My phone is my only entertainment, but it is already at 33% and there’s no estimate on when power will be restored. Huge whine, sorry about the first world problem, but I wish this app did not kill my battery or that it would let me bump from the website, but that is not working for me.

You must live somewhere near where I am. We actually heard the transformer blow last night at around 10:00. I can't even describe what a terrifying sound that was. Somehow we got super lucky and our neighborhood is one of the only ones in all of town that isn't without power. All the grocery stores are closed, all the schools are closed. They have no idea when power is getting restored around here. I'm so sorry you lost power especially cause the Bump app totally ruins the battery on your phone! I hope you'll be restored soon! Is there someone with power whose place you could possibly go to?

#2 I was as having contractions in walmart while grabbing the last few items I wanted to add.. but main bag was packed weeks earlier
#2 & #3 main bag packed about a month before due date and will likely do the same again.
My little have all come between 39-40 weeks so far, so I don't feel like earlier would be necessary unless any checks come back atypical.
