9 weels and 6 days today. Got to hear the heartbeat again today (177) but the little booger didn't want to show us how it can move. Guess we'll see it next time.
This morning's NT scan at 13+1! Little boo's mouth was open, haha. Results from testing are great, risk of T21 are 1 in 9300-ish and T18/T13 are 1 in 10,000+. Everything measuring great so we are super relieved. Next one is the anatomy scan on 10/27
Forgot to post this last week! We had our NT scan on Friday, when I was 12+4. Everything looked great, she was jumping around and measuring about 4 days ahead. Such a relief!
My sweet bean at 12w2d measuring 13w1d so we’ll see how that goes. They said all looks great. Got to peak regarding its sex but don’t want to make a conclusion either way!
This is LO today at 12+1. The picture is blurry because baby was moving around like crazy, stretching and arching its back and waving its arms around. But on the monitor during the scan we could see him/her so clearly! It was absolutely amazing.
General statement: I am totally in awe of how much the babies develop from weeks 7/8 to 12/13. It is amazing that we can already see so much growth in so little time. Love seeing all the pics.
@ngolimento Congrats on normal NT results!!! How long did the scan take? I'm having mine done tomorrow so I'm curious how long I'll have to suffer through a full bladder lol.

Thanks! It took less time than an anatomy scan. Maybe 10 minutes. BUT I have to say my kiddo was being cooperative and they were able to get a side view almost immediately. They told me that if he hadn't cooperated I would have been asked to walk around a bit, try again, and then if all else failed, we would need to do transvaginal.

@lund exactly what @ngolimento said. Mine also took about 10 mins but that's because baby was in the perfect position to start. The area they measure at the back of the neck is teeny tiny so it can take a while to get it sometimes. With DS the tech was jiggling my stomach and having me roll to my sides to try and get him to flip over. It took foreverrrr.
US #3. This was a quick heart rate check since they figured I was too early for a Doppler. She gave me a quick 3D look. Baby's arm/hand is up by its forehead. 11w2d here.

I had some bright red bleeding today, so I got my first ultrasound done. Not the circumstances I wanted for my first ultrasound, but thankfully, everything looked great! Heart rate is 171, and baby is measuring a week ahead at 11w6d. Baby was bouncing and wiggling all over the place!
This was my last RE u/s so I am officially released to my OB. Measuring 9w4d (about two days behind. I know that u/s scans can be off but still hate when I measure a bit behind!). Heartrate was 156 bpm.
This is from 13 weeks, but Biscuit was measuring 13+3. NT scan looked good! I'm a little annoyed that this is the picture that the tech chose to give me because there were so many other good options to choose from. Oh well! I'm just happy the NT scan went well and that I got to see my little Biscuit dancing around! He or she was being difficult - kept looking directly at the ultrasound wand, and then turning away. It took an hour to get all the images we needed, not that I'm complaining

This is from the NT scan today! Everything looked perfect and the Bonus Bean was very active and happy. S/he is a thumb sucker already if the last two scans are any indication!
I got the b/w taken (fourth time was a charm--I'm a hard stick for sure!) and we will get the results of that back next week.
But the nasal bone and the area at the back of the neck looked good. Everything is right on target with a heartbeat of 160!
Re: Bag O Beans
(S)he was rubbing her eyes, had its thumb in its mouth and was bouncing all over the place! Heart rate was 164 and everything was right on track!
We will see him/her again at my NT scan on October 3rd!!
